It was the biggest tool in her arsenal. Jennifer Aniston just had to get people to pay attention to her rather than the bikini model, Brooklyn Decker. So Jennifer went hardcore. She chopped off her hair! It’s not as drastic as that haircut she had when she was on Friends, though. This one is to her shoulders, and it looks like she added some more blonde highlights too. And she changed up her makeup. All in all, I like it. I’m just grateful for change, honestly. Aniston has been making me slow clap for the past few stories because I’m getting the feeling she really is looking to change it up. Traveling, selling her Beverly Hills home, wearing appropriate clothing, all of that deserves some slow claps. But this – this deserves outright applause.
Do you think she just finally got sick of the old style? The whole “I don’t own a hairbrush” look was uncomfortable, and the flat-iron needs to be put away. Aniston’s natural hair has some natural curl to it, and I would love to see her with this new haircut, minus the blowout.
Oh, and nobody’s paying attention to Brooklyn Decker anymore. I almost forgot to include a photo of her in this post. Well played, Aniston.

I would’ve liked these pants if they were much lower on the waist. Brooklyn looks much better here! I saw a pic of Brooklyn Decker at their first premiere stop and she looked really fug in the face. Couldn’t believe it.

It’s a measure of how desperately in need of a makeover/transformation this woman is that cutting off a few inches on the same old style constitutes as a “change”. It’s exactly the same old hairstyle, just a shorter version. So what?

oh, i don’t know. I always found Aniston to be very beautiful when she had that whole natural thing going on, minimal makeup, darker hair colours but lately (the last couple of years) she has this constant startled look going on, her eyes have this weird look, it’s almost creepy. Her face looks really puffy and heavily made up and she went from looking like a classy gorgeous woman to looking like a middle aged dolly bird. I don’t know what’s happened but the change is astounding.

Not a fan of Jen–I think it’s her hair and figure that causes people to think she’s so great. Shave her head and add 30-50 lbs, and I guarantee no one would say much of anything except that her eyes are a pretty color. Some women would be beautiful bald and plump–for example, Angelina Jolie.

Hate those pants on her. It makes her torso look non-existant. Granted it would be hard for any woman to hold her own standing next to Brooklyn Decker, but Jen looked better at the last premiere.

The cut is alright, count me in with the people who think it should be darker, and those pants are ill-fitting and all kinds of wrong… Okay, trivia out of the way, what’s up with her eyes, any guesses? They’re glassy, and her pupils look like pin pricks. (Kaiser, I’m surprised you missed this, especially with the Tara Reid mentions.)

wow, I can’t beleive there are 167 posts on a haircut thread. Guess I’ll be the 168th. I don’t know how I feel about this hair cut, I kind of liked her hair before and it suited her perfectly. I’m of the mentality if it looks good and you feel comfortable in it, stick with it and who gives an eff about changing it up.

Haircut: nice, imo.
Color: way too light for her features, but if she’s not figured it out by now…
Tho’ not a fan, can’t help sympathizing a bit. Actresses are almost forced to be neurotic over their looks, but mid-40s is a weird rite of passage for anyone. And we’re bombarded w/so much Advice:
Long hair? Oh, no! Sooo Aging.
TOO short? Hi, Soccer Mom.
You’re wearing cut-offs? Gross; no!
Lighter hair is Great; gives you a ‘youthful’ look.
& the rest of the generic What to Wear/How to Look junk. Maybe the lady IS just trying to sort it all out.
But the trousers scare me. Surely those buttons & high waist are at fault, cause she’s all about, oh, Pilates & living on lemon juice, right?
No way is Aniston like some Lesser Mortal—who wakes up one day, can’t zip her jeans—& realizes that somewhere between 40-45 your metabolism unceremoniously kicked you to the curb: ‘Byeee! And no, it’s NOT me. It’s you.’ Isn’t she supposed to be immune?
Sorry for the rant. Am still super-cranky, what with Metabolism being as faithless as a UK footballer, & the post-breakup regime of regular exercise/water-guzzling/learning to <3 salad.

I like the new hair and the fact that she’s changed SOMETHING about her look. I like Jen and her movies even though most of them are cookie-cutter. Now if only she would venture into more interesting movie territory. C’mon Girl, mix it up!

She took a few inches off big deal – she didnt do anything drastic. Her hair is probably fried from all the styling and she wanted to get rid of the dead ends. The color however i do not like – to yellow.
