Alyssa Milano announced her pregnancy earlier this week. CB and I had an extended conversation about it, oddly enough. We debated whether or not people cared – it’s not like people wish Alyssa harm or anything, but we also wondered if she still really had anything by way of a fan base. Anyway, we ended up not writing about it until now. Alyssa showed off her bump last night at the premiere of Hall Pass, that stupid-and-offensive-looking movie starring Owen Wilson and Jason Sudeikis, amongst others. I think Alyssa is in it too. In any case, Alyssa wore this jacked up grey skirt that might have been cute if wasn’t fitted to go right under her boobs. It’s just… unflattering. I know maternity styles are different, but Alyssa seems like she’s into her second trimester by now, and there’s no reason to look like she just got an oversized skirt from Target and hiked that junk up. That being said, her hair and makeup look good. She’s a very pretty woman.
The award for most unattractive outfit goes to Christina Applegate. Once again, I know that her style choices are limited, considering she just had a baby. But could she have found a more flattering muumuu?

And lastly, Jenna Fisher. Sigh… Jenna. Girl. Hire somebody to dress you. This is one of the most flattering things I’ve ever seen her in, but the bar has been set really, really low. It looks like she’s dressed up to go to a high school dance. Some women just do that clothes – this dress could be a solid look on another woman, but on Jenna, it just looks so dated and cheap.

This movie does look really stupid. Offensive though? I think people are too quick to call something offensive.
I have always loved Alyssa. She is gorgeous. I love when i get to see her in things, which isn’t nearly enough IMO. I’ve followed her career since Who’s the Boss! So yeah, she still does have a fan base out there.
I like Alyssa’s outfit. It’s not so baby-bump-in-your-face. She’s always been pretty an seems to have wonderful skin.
Surprised she already has a bump & she’s due in the fall. Pretty lady though. The dress is fug.
DON’T BE HATING ON JENNA! Seriously, go to her IMDB page and scroll through all the pics of her there. She looks freaking gorgeous in many of the dresses she wears.
And actually, I think that’s part of her charm, when she looks slightly uncomfortable in formal wear. It sort of goes along with her girl next door persona.
But it’s untrue that she always looks dressed badly.

Jenna’s dress is FINE. Her EXPRESSION is what’s bringing it down. I loved what Alyssa Milano wore, because she wasn’t showing an inch of inappropriate skin and pregnancy means you have to futz around with your clothing to get out the door in some semblance of an outfit. AND FINALLY, Owen, it’s time to get the nose fixed a little. God, it just gets bigger and more deformed. Time for it to get a repair. Can you imagine how much he must snore? Eccch! Depardieu must snore like NASCAR married a chain saw.
I love Alyssa Milano, I really love her. She didn’t do anything big since charmed I think, but I hope she will star in a great movie or another tv series (which she is more capable of).

I want to see “Take me home tonight”… has anyone else watched the red band trailer for it? As crude/guy humor as it looks… I want to see it. Bad.
Now this little film here… I am not so sure of. And I tend to adore these Farrelly brother movies. I get their humor.
But the trailers for this one is lacking. Then again I am probably not the demographic they are trying to sell to either.

@Cat, ME TOO. Good grief, all I see on this man’s face is a flaccid penis. I so wish I had never read that post pointing out its unfortunate resemblance to that male body part, as now it’s all I see.
Onto non-penis nose topics, Alyssa looks really good. Many Hollywood women look good pregnant because we get to see what they look like when they don’t starve themselves. And before anyone jumps all over me — I’m sure some of them are naturally thin, but a lot of them starve (or snort lines or take Adderal) their way to thin. So it’s nice when those particular women gain pregnancy weight, as the weight looks good on them.

I hadn’t seen the post re: OW’s nose resembling a penis but I have thought the exact same thing! Hey, I’m all for being unique and not cookie-cutter but there sometimes comes a point where enough is enough. IDK if his nose is getting larger or what but I really think it would benefit from a nip here or a tuck there.

Jenna’s a simpleton, and I think alot of people love her for it. She looks cute but a longer gown would have looked better.

As for the outfit, it’s the tights and shoes that are the problem. Otherwise it’s a nice and comfortable maternity option. I’d love to know where she got it.
What I HATE is the stupid hands-flanking-belly pose everyone does. It’s like you have to prove it’s a bump in there. I’m pregnant, I get that resting the hand on or above the bump becomes sort of unconscious, but never have I found myself cradling both ends of my stomach.

With all the crap that does on in the news and the stupid/dangerous things that celebs do sometime a fluff piece like someone announcing their pregancy is just what is needed. As far as Jenna Fisher and the way she dresses, ‘Oh honey’.

Alyssa is totally dressed appropriately for the season, for her current condition and the occasion. It looks strange because she looks so normal. She’s adorable!
Being forever stuck in 80’s sitcom-land I’ll always love Alyssa Milano. I watch Charmed reruns all the time. Very happy for her.
Alyssa is very pretty and has always conducted herself well, not expecting “special privledges” or showing up at every red carpet (some of the things you bash other young actresses for). Lainey couldn’t have slammed her any better.
She’s not one of the “hot young things” at this time but still a respected talent with a good work ethic.
Gee, a dress you don’t approve of – that puts in in with 90% of actresses. You may not care but she does have fans and it’s nice yo see her out & about again – even in a movie you don’t like.

It’s funny to see Alyssa now. I always use to watch Whos the Boss? Especially when she grew up more, like when she was 15 or 16. She was so pretty! I wanted to be like her! Lame I know, but I did! And she was in all of the Fan mags. I remember that.
