Jamie Hince wants Kate Moss back, and to prove it he wants her to have his baby. The guitarist of The Kills and the supermodel recently split up, again, after months of a stormy, hot-and-cold relationship and Moss declared there was no going back this time.
Word at the time of the split was that one or the other of them was unhappy with the amount of hard partying the other did. I guess it all falls to allegiances, but Team Kate was saying Hince was as much a partier as Pete Doherty and Kate was done with that while Team Jamie said Kate’s wild ways were too much for him to handle. Suffice it to say, they both sound like they spend alot of time out of the home.
So, the next logical step in repairing their broken relationship would be to have a baby, right? Moss is the mother to nearly 6-year old Lila Grace, but apparently she wants more. While the public assumed it was the claims of partying that led to the couple calling it quits, Hince says it was Kate’s insistence that they start a family.
A source close to the 39-year-old musician said: “Jamie is upset that Kate is being painted as this party animal who ruined their relationship with her wild ways. The reality is far from that.
“In fact, they split over her desire to start trying for a baby. Jamie told her he didn’t want to commit to that while things were going so well with his band and he was away on tour so much. But she argued that could remain the case for years and she didn’t want to wait that long.
“He is ready to back down over the baby issue to save his relationship. He’s sure they can get things back on track.”
Kate’s parenting skills are debatable, she always looks like a doting mother by the light of day, shopping and playing with Lila, but it doesn’t seem like the girl has seen the stars or moon with her mother in any of her six years. Couple that with the well beyond questionable influence of Pete Doherty for years and it’s hard to imagine a new baby would be the best idea in the world.
Jamie’s band, The Kills, is currently on tour, so the “Will you take my seed in conception?” proposal will have to wait a couple weeks, but in a reversal of stereotypical roles, Hince thinks a baby will only help his relationship.

Agree with all of you who think a baby isn’t the best way to save a relationship. Especially when one of the “adults” involved is Kate Moss.

Another bad idea from mossy. Use another donor at least, jeeze. Any kid with him’s gonna look like a sleep-deprived vampire in need of concealer.

First, Jamie’s got to realize the reason his band is doing so well is his thing with Kate. I love the Kills but really had you heard of them before he hooked up with her? Second, there’s something so desperate and broken about her. I reckon that’s why he’s running for the hills because as we all learn when it’s crazy love of your life time you’ll do pretty much anything.

She spends precious little time with the child she already has. In fact I’m sure Jefferson Hack has official custody of Lila - or at least he did when the two split….
