I read a little something about this earlier this week, and oddly enough, it didn’t depress me. Usually when I hear about Gerard Butler rubbing his glorious stank on some girl, I get out my rage shank and count to ten. Why am I not depressed about this one? Because allegedly, Gerard was rubbing on model Selita Ebanks. Selita is his type – leggy, slender, dark. And it sounds like if there’s something there, it’s not much:
Gerard Butler had model Selita Ebanks on his [arm] at Madonna’s Oscars afterparty on Feb. 27.
“They’ve been hooking up,” an insider tells us. “But it’s nothing serious.”

Selita was last rumored to be dating Kanye West, although I haven’t seen or heard anything about Kanye and Selita together recently, so maybe that fizzled too. However, Gerard’s rep went to Gossip Cop and denied it, saying that the rumors of a hookup are completely “not true.” Gerard really is trying to make sure I continue to love him, isn’t he? That’s what this is all about – he’s making sure that I’m not too overcome with Fassbender lust, and that I always remember that he’s saving himself for me. Ha… I couldn’t even type that without laughing!
Oh, and for all of you saying that Gerard is going to be Jessica Biel’s new boyfriend… ah, no. They are scheduled to work together on that movie where she plays a soccer mom and he plays a soccer coach, but that doesn’t mean he’ll bone her. He really, truly has a type, and Biel isn’t it. Selita is, though. I’ll buy Gerry with Selita before I would ever buy him with Biel.

That is not dandruff on Butler’s shoulders, the photo was taken at the BATA’s & it was raining. That is rain reflecting from the lights on the red carpet. He didn’t use an umbrella.

Don’t worry about Jessica Biel — Lainey suggested she’ll try to be linked to “a dude who might, once in a while, fly around saving the world in a cape” because apparently she’s at the top of the list for the role of “girlfriend”. Not sure, but it sounds like that Superman movie…perhaps?
But I must confess that it would be funny to watch Biel trying to cling on “allergic to commitment” Butler.

Let me clarify, I don’t think he’ll actually DATE Biel (ITAWY, not his usual “type”), but they are RIPE for the rumor to blossom (both single, she’s all vulnerable and crap, and who better to rebound with than THE Gerard Butt-tickler?, etc). Her publicist would love it.
Her chasing him would be the theme (and with that Daily Mail article out there of how she showed up at Timberdouche’s house when he didn’t call her at first, they’ll use that as some sort of “proof” of her tenacity = desperation).

Selita is entirely too pretty for Kayne or Butler. She could do so much better.
But sadly, I can see Biel chasing after Butler. She will need a high profile hookup.
Because it will take all of a week before Timberlake is out there with a new 22 year old. Since he has no ability to be without a girlfriend.
Then Biel can have her very own Diaz breakdown when she runs into him with the new jumpoff.
And I know somewhere right now.. Diaz is secretly pleased about Biel getting dump. Knowing that movie Diaz did with Timberlake, is getting released soon.

This Celebitchy blog about Gerard is funny as hell! good job! I’m sure if we were in Gerard’s position we’d all have some dating faux paws, but I agree the pap catch him with his fingers in the pudding all the time… I hope that at some point he will find a woman and settle down, but it’s his life. As long as he makes great films, and doesn’t make his life a complete train wreck I’m happy…. Gerard Call me…lol
