Monica Bellucci wraps her fidelity-hatin’ tatas in fur: gorgeous or blah?

dolce_gabbana_002_wenn5624910

These are photos of Monica Bellucci in Moscow, where she was the guest of honor at some event at the Italian Embassy. Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana (who has Monica’s arm in some of these pics) were there too. I’m pretty sure Monica is wearing real fur. And why not? She looks impossibly gorgeous. I don’t even hate her bangs trauma! What is wrong with me? Perhaps it’s because Monica recently spoke about how she didn’t really care if her husband, Vincent Cassel, slept around. The subtext was that Monica is probably up for it too – meaning I’ve got a shot with her, bangs trauma and all! But what I really want is a threesome with Monica and Vincent. Anyway, considering there has been no follow-up interview or “correction” issued, I’m now pretty sure Monica said exactly what was reported – that she doesn’t give a crap about fidelity. Does that make her hotter?

Oh, and Pharrell Williams was also at the event. He’s very fancy, isn’t he?

  2. bagladey says:

MB looks okay, nothing great, but Pharrell looks yummy good.

  3. Mia135 says:

I can’t stand Pharrell Williams. And they both look ridiculous in all that fur.

  4. beth says:

phew, she makes growing older, cool.

  5. Mshuffleupagus says:

wow, hates animals, hates fidelity. That’s great?

  6. guesty says:

She’s gorgeous. I don’t like the length of her coat tho.

  7. carrie says:

why has she anything against the beasts? because they slept with her husband?

  8. original kate says:

fur never looks gorgeous, except when it is on the original owner.

  9. sapphire says:

She is so gorgeous-just unbelievable that she gets hotter every year.

  10. YAY says:

    UGH.

  11. gobo says:

Meh, it’s Russia. Everyone wears fur there, culturally they don’t have any issues with people wearing it.

  12. Hollowdoll says:

I don’t even know who Pharrel Williams is. Is he related to Katt Williams? Now that dude is a funny genius!

  13. Isa says:

Why are people still wearing fur? It looks ridiculous on both of them.
It’s a reason for me to dislike celebrities who wear it and to disregard whatever it is they are doing professionally……

  14. Eve says:

    *sigh*

Monica, you ungrateful b*tch! I defended your right to have an open marriage so hard on the previous post and now you do this to me. I’m going to hook Cassel up with a crab infested model/actress/any available ho next time he comes to Brazil so he can give it to you.

Now seriously…it saddens me to see people being ok with fur.

And Kaiser, I’m pretty sure she would look even more gorgeous without that coat (or at least a coat made out of some other material).

And I totally agree with Original Kate’s comment # 8.

    Pharrell looks ridiculous here.

  15. anti says:

makes her look huge and unoriginal, while she is actually gorgeous and very interesting. : (

  16. MNGIRL76 says:

I know “it’s Russia!” Blah blah blah!
Why would anyone wear fur anymore? Even if I had an old vintage piece from my grandmother (which I do) I could never wear it out! There are just so many options now days. We do not need to wear fur.
    Pharrell looks like a jackass!

  17. EdithP says:

She is gorgeous, the fur, not so much.

  18. N.D. says:

Not that I want to start a holywar over it but before you attack people for choosing fur over padding polyester and all other synthetic warmth-keeping fabrics consider the ecological damage that manufacturing them brings to our planet. You kill life no matter what you wear.

  19. Mshuffleupagus says:

    gobo

That’s cool then. They also have one of the worst stands on conservation in the world and because of their negligence there’s only thirty Amur leopards, among numerous other critically endangered animals, left in the Russian wild. So, yeah, totally fine.

  20. Keljo says:

OK, I have to confess something…I don’t understand all this “bangs trauma” stuff lately. I’m not a girly-girl at all, and hate fussing with my hair, so I have a very simple style, so maybe that’s part of my “not getting it.” Personally, I don’t see anything wrong with MB’s bangs…please, someone explain it to me! Even Entertainment Weekly had a piece a couple of months ago about “bad bangs” in their Style section. Of course, some are so obviously bad that even I can tell, but a lot of times when people declare “bangs trauma,” I just don’t see it.

  21. Audrey says:

STOP WITH THE F*CKING FUR ALREADY!!!

  22. Erin says:

Further deepens my belief that she’s just a crazy ol’ jackass. Whatever. She looks gross.

  23. Jojo says:

She had the area under her eyes done. I love her but that was always the part of her that aging wasn’t being kind to. Still, whoever did them did a great job. She’s looking amazing.

  24. Ruby says:

You don’t have to get married these days. So if ya wanna sleep around it’d be your choice. Be careful and take care of your health of course. I think men need a wife more than women need husbands. It’s not a sexist comment, ok maybe it is. But as a married woman if my hubby wasn’t around I would be ok ( I would miss him :)). But I manage ok with our kids when hes gone. He gets all all flustered with everything and I know he would fall apart without me ( have seen it). Women are stronger.

Btw I hate that coat looks like she is getting attacked by a bear lol

  25. Miss Viki says:

    the outfit looks gorgeous 🙂

  26. Ava says:

    G.O.D.D.E.S.S.

  27. Aqua says:

I honestly don’t know who either of them are but I think Monica Bellucci is gorgeous.

  28. Jules says:

No like the fur jacket. Makes me sad. Monica as always looks bellissima. And love the bangs.

  29. PrettyTarheel says:

I love her haircut. Hell, I HAVE her haircut. I want to know how she stands them quite that long-mine are that length right now and I’m ready for a trim…
I love her stance on Vincent Cassel. It sounds like they found what works for them, and I’m down with that. If Mr. Tarheel wanted to live like that, however, he would have to crawl on bloody stumps down the front steps of MY house…but that’s the deal we made when we got married.
Finally, I hate fur, with the exception of vintage/recycled pieces. If an animal was killed for meat, and fur or leather was made as part of the process, I can be ok with it, but today’s furriers are not obtaining their fur from trappers or hunters. They are raising animals in inhumane conditions for the purpose of making fashion…just can’t embrace it. So…2 points for, but one major point against Monica.

  30. danielle says:

You should care if she’s wearing real fur! Bleah! With the quality of fakes, there’s no reason to hurt and kill an animal.

  31. Spaniard says:

Hope the fur is fake. God I wish that one day wear something like this becomes illegal.

  32. lola lola3 says:

While I dont support people wearing fur, she is so damn beautiful that I’ll just sit down now. Damn! Genes are so unfair!!

  33. Mary says:

    more beautiful without dead animal….

  34. Kim says:

    HIDEOUS! She looks like Chewbacca!

And i just lost all respect for Pharell.

    Spainard – Amen!
No real man (or woman) wears fur. Only callous, cowards wear fur.

  35. Elizabeth says:

    (1) Hate the fur – why do people wear fur to public events? Its not glamorous and it glorifies cruelty to animals.
    (2) She appears to be standing on the hem of her skirt. Dear Monica, its not fashionable to fall down a flight of stairs!

  36. Benny says:

They both look like pimps in all that fur. Tacky.

  37. jp says:

Ok, lets check Ms. Bellucci`s record: First, she signs a petition to prevent child rapist,Roman Polansky from being extradited. Second, she tries to pass as cool & sexy the fact that her husband cheats on he, risking the possibility of him bringing a STD to their home. And Third, She wears fur with not a care in the world , like “i`m Monica Bellucci and i can do whatever i want!!, of course while my husband is screwing around in Brazil. Oh but well, like everybody says, if it works for them, so be it……..NOT!!

  38. The Truth Fairy says:

What “bangs trauma”??? Her bangs look perfect!!!!!

  39. Larissa says:

    hahahaha Chewbacca says it all!

  40. Kelly says:

Im a defender of vintage fur, but that junk looks just like it’s just been ripped off the back of something still breathing. Pharrell- is that lynx, you f*cking evil little dipshit?

Not 100% convinced that’s real on the Monica, but it could just be a bad coat. J’accuse.

  41. clare says:

The hem of that dress looks crappy.

  42. devilgirl says:

I am one of the lone people in this world who does not find this woman attractive, nor do I like her as an actress. The appeal of this couple baffles me. I do not get it.

  43. nikki says:

    Me no likey the look.
As far as fur for fashion, it’s not necessary and it’s horrible how many animals are bred and kept just for that purpose. However, I buy things from wal mart sometimes and I’m sure I’ve purchased brand name items that were made by people getting paid lowly wages and working in bad conditions. We’re all trying though.

  44. Flan says:

    Dumb *****

Any respect I still had for her after that fidelity interview is now flushed down the drain.

Why suddenly seek attention like this?

Hubby slept with yet another woman 20 years younger and she tries to feel relevant?

  45. CB Rawks says:

“I’m pretty sure Monica is wearing real fur. And why not?”

Seriously? Because that would make her a heinous bitch and someone should skin her and wear her pelt as revenge.

  46. Chris says:

Wearing a fur coat is no less immoral than eating meat. If you’re opposed to the fur industry you should be opposed to the meat industry too.

  47. Meanchick says:

If she doesn’t care about fidelity. then why is she married? I mean marriage is all about being with one person, right? I call BS!

  48. Stephanie says:

Beautiful woman but the fur is not okay IMO. :(((

  49. Cora says:

I’ll never be able to look at a picture of someone wearing fur and find it attractive.

  50. Crash2GO2 says:

    I’m with you jp.

  51. Rosanna says:

the woman is booooring! Just because she’s beautiful she thinks she’s so intelligent… besides, she always has the same make-up :((

  52. endoplasmic ridiculum says:

yuck – fur=the ultimate delusional vanity piece. They probably have this sad vision of themselves as these sophisticated individuals, swooshing in on the ambassadorial red carpet. Whatever.
They might as well be crunching Ferrero Rocher.

Fur is such a tacky cliche.

  53. LuckyLilGem says:

MB is sooo pretty. The bangs though make her look a little like Shannon Dougherty- how is that possible??

  54. Newbie says:

NONE of you have ever worn fur/leather/animal byproducts? pfft. I doubt it.

  55. Sapphire says:

The bangs are fine, the fur is not—both ethically and stylistically speaking. To me, she looks like she’s wearing a bathrobe.

  56. theoriginalsisterkitty says:

Russia is effing freezing. You need fur and vodka to keep warm.

  57. Shelley says:

The ‘why not fur?’ question is easy to answer: because every inch of that fur was torn from the bodies of sentient beings who experience fear and pain via the same mechanisms we do, who suffered horribly in fur farms and traps, and who died tortorous deaths.

  58. The Truth Fairy says:

SHE IS 46 YEARS OLD!! I think she looks amazing!! I hope I’m that hot at that age. WOW!

  59. Mei says:

I love my fur coats. They’re sixty years old and incredibly warm! Synthetic fur is terrible for the earth–don’t buy a new one, or you’re part of the problem.

  60. Tiffany says:

I had to live in Northern Canada for a winter and bought a vintage fur, and was really glad of it when it was beyond freezing cold. Nothing else would have kept me as warm. I have leather coats as well. Live in freezing cold climates and you appreciate the warmth of natural means. Down is good for not freezing, but pretty cold.
That said, I probably won’t wear it again, unless I am in the arctic. Besides, I bought a gorgeous, vintage, 3/4 length coat by a furrier based in Canada all for 60 bucks on ebay-way cheaper than North Face. It is normal in certain parts of the world for people to wear fur.
I do not support Russia not conserving their lands and animals these days, but don’t see anything sinful about reusing something like that, it’s 50 years old!

  61. So-and-so says:

Polanski-child-rapist apologist who makes ridiculous statements implying that her husband is incapable of keeping it in his pants if she’s gone for *2 months* Fur-schmur, homegirl was dropped on her head long before the coat or the bangs came on the scene

  62. ldel says:

hate the fur. no matter where in the universe you wear it, it sucks.

kaiser, why do you so dislike bangs? sometimes they look good…..no?

  63. Dea says:

Mama mia, I don’t care what she wears – she is as gorgeous as hell and looks radiant in anything. I even would not look what she is wearing. She is so beautiful that her face captures the eye of viewers and will suffice.

  64. casey says:

LOL what exact is ‘bangs trauma?’ And why are bangs so evil here? Is celebitchy against all bangs or is it just a random thing?

  65. Zelda says:

Why are people so hypocritical about fur?

I hope the next thread featuring a celeb in a leather jacket, or Britney Spears eating a burger, gets this much ire. Just for the sake of fairness.

  66. Ally says:

@casey: I know, I don’t get it either! I thought it meant bad bangs, but in this case I find them perfectly flattering.

In fact, in much of Europe, as you age as a woman, you just grow bangs. Less slicey (or injecty) and more permanent than plastic surgery or Botox, plus much more youth-ifying!

  67. samab says:

i’m glad to see she’s back to her beuty.Last time i’ve seen her on tv she was bloated as hell and really showing her age:in these pics ,take out the fur ,she’s gorgeus.

  68. Eve says:

    @ Zelda (# 65):

No one criticized her for eating meat or wearing leather (which is a by-product of the meat industry). So no hypocrisy here.

Unless you, like Chris’s (who thinks eating meat is just as imoral as wearing fur), are correlating the two things — or maybe you think both are fine. And I happen to disagree with that because I think there is a difference between killing an animal for food and killing it (mostly) for fashion.

I am aware of how horrific the meat industry is and I wish more laws would force the companies to treat the animals with dignity, but *I* (who don’t eat meat, by the way) still think it’s even worse to kill an animal for its skin (or for fun/sport).

  69. Zelda says:

    @Eve
    I am correlating the two.
I satying “it’s okay to kill for food but not for clothing” is grasping straws.
Neither are necessary to people with means, so how can one be “better” than the other?

    Interesting twist–I don’t eat meat, but do wear a fur. It’s a 40yo vintage, but it’s fur.

  70. Eve says:

    @ Zelda:

To be fair, I said it was “less worse” (I think they’re both bad), but I won’t go any further with this argument — not because I can’t see your point or anything — it’s just that it involves a lot of things about humanity I can’t change, at least not alone, therefore it does stress me to think or talk about it.

However, I’m glad you pointed out that it (eating meat) isn’t necessary for those with means. One of the reasons I avoid criticizing people who do eat meat has to do with the fact I live in a country where there are still people who survive with barely nothing so I can’t tell a person “it’s wrong to eat meat” when a chicken he had just killed was the only food/source of protein he had for lunch.

  71. TXCinderella says:

They make great faux fur these days, so there is no excuse for anyone to be wearing real fur.

  72. Jax says:

Real fur is never attractive on anything but the creature born with it. Monica shouldn’t support the fur trade it’s barbaric and should be banned. Usher looks like a little boy in his Mom’s coat. What a pair of d*cks!
