    I love Britney..She’s a survivor. Can’t help myself 🙂

  2. Alarmjaguar says:

Watched it with the sound off…I think that is the least sexy thing I have ever seen in my life! What was with the sad, sad, pelvic thrusts? I can’t believe people will pay to watch that show. As the saying goes, nobody ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American public. I think our current “entertainment” offerings are proof of that!

  3. mln76 says:

Uhm there was a time when she could dance a little bit. I know she must be medicated out of her gourd but can’t she do a couple of simple moves.

  4. KJ says:

She looks worn the fuck out. Poor Brit. She’s like a champion race horse that was worked too hard early in her career. That and I think her weave might be horse hair.

  5. samihami says:

Not just the choreography. The song was horrible and the autotune was so heavy that there is not a recognizable voice there. Sad.

  6. S says:

that’s pretty dumb of Enrique, no? I mean, Britney sells…people love her. Does he think he’s above her and can sell out large arenas on his own? Really?

  7. Sumodo1 says:

Brit-Brit’s probably using Trazadone, an antidepressant usually taken at night. It kills your equilibrium in the morning, hence the lack of actualy dancing. The chair-dancing was hilarious. Bouncing her butt on a chair passes for her choreography. Britney is taking strong SSRIs, you can see it in how thick she is now (they put weight on you) and because she had to get up in the morning, the Trazzy was still in her system. Glad to see her docs and handlers got her to perform this well.

  8. Hooblie says:

wow, her dancing is definately not as crisp as it once was.

  9. UnAttributableSpoon says:

Sumodo1 (@ #3): I take Trazodone and Lunesta (and rather high doses of both, among other meds). I can totally agree that it can screw up equilibrium in the morning, but that can go away the longer you’ve been taking it. I’m guessing she’s taking some anti-anxiety and/or tranquilizers as well, because her eyes have that “funny” look, I’d be guessing Ativan or something as well (which would compound the effects of the Traz…also, nice to know I’m not the only one who calls it that^.^). She also might be on more than one SSRI/SNRI and possibly a mood stabilizer as well, since there are rumors of her being bi-polar.

*Not a medical professional, I’ve just got a lot of experience >.<

  10. Anonandonandon says:

Since Britney isn’t dancing anymore, what is her excuse for lip syncing? By her next tour she’ll be on stage sitting in a chair reading magazines while her CD plays and her dancers entertain the crowd. I’m sure her fans will still declare that she’s back and better than ever.

  11. someone says:

I love Brit, but that performance was terrible….

  12. RHONYC says:

    oh.
    dear.
    🙁

she & christina aguilera are like neck in neck on the scale. yikes!

note to stage performers: fasting, colonics & layin’ off the fried banana sandwiches b4 hitting the stage is always a good thing! 😉

  13. ZZ says:

I’ve seen another video of her performing recently and she just looks plain… sad. She’s not really interested in being a performer anymore (because you know she was never a musician) but her record label people/handlers/owners are trying to squeeze every last penny out of this cash machine

  14. clorismetchum says:

i really can’t help it. i love this bald bitch. i don’t care if she’s taking a damn nap on stage, she’s still great. even though i’m not in her target demographic, i was totally up at midnight to get her album off the itunes. LOVE IT. it’s such a great album. it makes me FEEL young, even if in reality these tata’s are about to hit the floor…

  15. TXCinderella says:

She still has the looks, but if I were her I would give up on the live performances. Just release the music and leave it at that. She can still go on the talkk shows and plug the music without having to do a performance. Her die-hard fans will stick around for that.

  16. dorothy says:

What dancing? She just sways from side to side. I’m confused..my idea of a performer is a a singer that sings…not someone that lip synchs to a CD. God lord…I can do that, plus swing from side to side…make ME a star…..

  17. Adilys says:

I could only make it through one minute of the Britney video but there certainly wasn’t much choreography to speak of. She definitely didn’t look like she was all there.

  18. Kim says:

I thought she did good. She looks good and the choreography was WAY better than anything she has done in past couple years performance wise.

Lets be real people she has always lip synched and kind of walk danced so it isnt like all of a sudden she is doing these things. She is also a grown woman and not a 17 yr old girl anymore. How many of us have same energy level now that we did at 17. I personally do not – not even close.

  19. Quest says:

Walking, sitting, strutting and giving an occasional bounce now and again while moving your hands are not my take at dancing much less -choreographed dance moves

  20. ceenitall says:

I have seen 3 year olds dance better then that. She does look druged and kind of like she just doesn’t give a crap. Sad.

  21. mymy says:

Wow just so bad. I mean she is not into this at all. Hope she cleans up and retires. this is music?

  22. Riley says:

Brit Brit always needs help down the stairs.

  23. Amanda G says:

Do her fans even know what her actual voice sounds like? She’s only one step up from Milli Vanilli.

As for the “dancing,” it’s almost like she thought if she just hops a little then people will mistake it for dancing.

  24. Jojo says:

I don’t get why people don’t see this. Guys, its her knee – its bad.
    her knee
    her knee
    her knee

You can’t ‘HIT’ moves powerfully ala madonna unless you can throw the energy into your legs. I’m not sure why she avoids talking about it. I think it might be, perhaps, because it could make her seem sick, not like a sexy superstar. Maybe people would feel bad about her performing, and she doesn’t want pity.

Sure there’s a chance its meds, too, but protecting her knee alone would cause her to look like she’s moving through jello. For knee problems, any stress can cause further damage! I wish she would just air this more publicly. Maybe she feels like if she ignores it, people will too.

I feel really sorry for her, knee problems can totally change dancers and athlete’s lives. People look normal, but can no longer be themselves, its quite a sad, lonely condition.

  25. Sparkly says:

When I was a kid, I totally thought I was going to marry Elijah Wood.

  26. The H says:

Well we can all agree that her weave is WAY better.

  27. OXA says:

Maybe Enriquer saw her performance on youtube and ran.

  28. Jenna says:

If she’s medicated out of her mind, why the hell is she going on tour? It’s pathetic. And her fans just keep eating that crap up.

@Jojo, WRONG. There are videos of her dancing after her knee surgery in rehersals, and she looks the same as she used to. On stage though it looks like she barely remembers how to walk.

  29. TQB says:

@Jojo – My first thought was, gee, I wonder if her knee still bothers her? She’s never really danced like she used to since that injury. I’ve never heard her mention it. I know some ACL/MCL blowout folks who made pretty full recoveries, but who knows? I disagree with those that say she never really danced – she certainly did, and if her knee is bad, probably cannot anymore.

Still, if she isn’t going to dance, she should go with actual singing. Come on, you can still get all auto-tuned to hell. There’s no excuse.

  30. malina says:

    @ JustBored
The same here. Plus I can’t ever get over at what a down to earth, cute and modest person she is. I don’t even care what and how she sings it. She is a jewel for me 🙂

  31. lola3621 says:

@ Sumodo1: nice thoughts but this was filmed on Sunday afternoon, so very much not a “live” performance in the sense that they are already giving you the best shots and edits from an earlier performance. Show time was set for noon so this performance was likely done early afternoon, plenty of time for her to sober up or be on point.

  32. Faye says:

Khloe and Lamar are adorable. I like them. 😀

As for Britney, she might be on an anti-stress medication that you take about 30 min before a stress inducing situation, and they can make you unstable(physically). I know this from personal experience (I fell a lot). Also, I think @Jojo might have a good point too. Whatever, as I’ve said before, love Britney.

@Sumodo, I take “Trazzy” (love that!) for sleep and other meds for anxiety/depression. I am a bit unsteady in the morning, but the “as needed” meds are worse for making me unsteady. Maybe she’s like me and has both?

  33. teehee says:

She should just take some GABA capsules and HTP capsules that you can get form Whole Foods and be better than ever, rather than deal with shitty scripts that just make your life and body worse.

  34. Justaposter says:

I thought she did an okay job. I think she was more into the 3rd number dance wise. But they were solid dance songs that I am sure most of us will be bopping along to in the car pool lanes soon.

I was shocked how tiny she actually is. When she was in the white blouse and jeans, she looked adorable.

  35. Sue says:

I sorry but all I hear are excuses it’s her knee, she medicated, she no longer 17 that not an excuses for bad danceing she could get her choreographer to accommodate dance moves for low energy, bad knee and the fact that she older. Tina Turner work it for her final concert and she was 70 years old, her choreography was different from when she was younger to accommodate for her age which turned out to be a plus because it made her look even better same thing with Madonna.

  36. Samigirl says:

Enrique just canceled their tour. EEK! Poor Britney!

  37. truthzbetta says:

    Weekend at Bernie’s V.

Bernie is now a kookie dead hooker.

  38. ol cranky says:

I’m sorry but if someone with 2 left feet like me could do that choreography and you’re not singing, it’s time to sto pretending you’re performing.

  39. Clavin says:

The thing about Britney is that she doesn’t actually DO anything. She pretends (badly, too) to sing. The real “dancing” is done by her back-up people; she mostly walks back and forth, twitches here & there and flips her hair around. It’s a sad, pathetic spectacle but to each their own, I suppose.

  40. HotPockets says:

My biggest problem with all of this is that Britney doesn’t seem to be having any fun. It almost seems like she is forced to keep on perusing her entertainment career. She has just turned into a cash cow at this point and the girl has been exploited her whole damn life.

I just don’t buy that since she is no longer 17 she can’t move like she use to. I think her heart is no longer into this and the passion is gone, with or without the medication.

  41. GeekChic says:

I’m just gonna say it: I don’t get it. What do people see in her anymore? She doesn’t dance. She doesn’t sing. The songs someone writes for her are massively autotuned and don’t sound like a real human voice. She is reasonably cute when she is cleaned up, but most of the time she looks like, um, well, I’m not gonna say it because we all know already. So why do the people who watch her “shows” get all excited? All you’re seeing is some reasonably cute girl lip synch and pretend to dance. Maybe she used to have something, but it’s gone.

  42. Jezi says:

I agree with TQB she used to dance the hell out of performances. She used to be an awesome dancer and that’s why people didn’t care if she was singing or not because her performance ability was astounding and definitely entertaining. Now she looks drugged off her ass. I feel sad for her, it’s like she doesn’t have it in her anymore.

  43. Jeri says:

Poor girl. Blame her daddy for the tour.

  44. cuchulain says:

AWFUL! A CHAIR??? SERIOUSLY…L-A-Z-Y DANCING AND WHEN DID LIP-SINGING BECOME THE NORM…L-A-Z-Y!!! OH, AND WEAR SOME CLOTHES YOU ARE N-O-T H-O-T AND HAVEN’T BEEN FOR A DECADE!

  45. albeli says:

The whole thing is beyond pathetic–I don’t blame Enrique one bit for bailing on the tour.

  46. ZXC says:

Xtina twitts to Brit and Brit twitts to Xtina. THE END OF THE WORLD.

  47. california angel says:

Hmmmm Im 26 and I have un-resolved torn ligaments in both of my knees, I have arthritis in my hips and upper back, and I’ve had surgery to reconstruct both of my feet; all from basketball. All I have to say is that YA sports and dancing both stick with you forever and its a pain in the bum sometimes but despite that, I could still dance circles around this chick, not well, but definitely with a lot more gusto; esp. if I was getting her paycheck. I’m siding with the theory that meds/ being out of the game for a while caught up with her.

  48. Ellie says:

No she could never dance. She’s doing the same moves she did in the beginning. How in the world do you idiots think she’s talented is beyond me. Your stupid!

  49. Lisa Turtle says:

The Lainey Blind Item is Mario Lopez.

Calling him B List is generous.

He fronts a number of different shows; Entertainment Tonight and some dancing show, plus a reality show that chronicles his baby mama’s pregnancy.

He had a quickie marraige and divorce to Ali Larter, it was rumored he cheated on her during their honeymoon.

His baby-mama met him through the agent.

  50. Nick says:

I call shenanigins (sic?) on the knee. I can sympathize with her not jumping around like the rest of the dancers because of it, but come on now. Her knee has nothing to do with how she moves her arms and torso. It was a deadweight performance.

I still like my Louisiana girl though and wish her the best.

  51. Kimble says:

I think she looks gorgeous – bodily healthy. Unfortunately she dances like me! Certainly not professionally …

I think Celebitchy thinks I am way more controversial and interesting than I really am – can’t understand why I’m moderated LOL!

  52. Deeana says:

No question, this is sad. But it has been sad. This young woman is/has been obviously very ill.

As a mother of adult children myself, I question the “cash cow” aspect of her continuing public appearances and “tours”.

The poor thing never really got any kind of a sustained rest after her very public meltdown(s).

I question the wisdom of the courts in naming a directly benefitting family member as her “guardian”. Perhaps someone with a bit more “distance” wouldn’t make the same decisions.

    Again, this is sad.

  53. mia girl says:

    @Lisa Turtle
Well done. That makes a lot of sense!

  54. Be Relaxed says:

My guess is that Britney takes an anti-anxiety medication like Xanax before she performance. That explains the lack of energy, tired/dazed look, and why people help her down the stairs.

Its entirely possible that she aggravated an old knee injury. That explains her lack of leg movements while she’s “dancing.”

  55. Anonandonandon says:

My guess is that Britney is bored out of her mind because she doesn’t have to contribute to her own success. She can sleepwalk through concerts that her fans pay good money to see and people will make excuses for her. Her dad forces her to work, she has a bad knee, she is bi-polar. Anything but the obvious; she has no musical talent whatsoever and she couldn’t care less. She’ll keep making millions and look horribly inconvenienced in the process. Poor Britney. She should be home doing what she does best; absolutely nothing.

  56. petalfrog says:

She dances like Katy Perry. What a shame she used to be a pretty good/competent/entertaining dancer!

I hope all her dancers got a raise since they’ll have to be carrying her weight dance-wise to keep the crowds entertained. Smart choreographers would have given her different moves and kept her separate from her dancers… not make her try to do the SAME moves as them in the middle of the stage.

  57. Jojo says:

@jenna I could be wrong. But I’d like to point something out. Let’s say you are right that she was dancing well after her injury (and my guess is you are), it does not imply that her current phlegmatic style can’t be chalked up to prophylaxis, just trying to stave off further injury.

People CAN dance amazingly well after injury. But, when you have a condition like that, from my understanding, with every epic move comes pain and damage. Initially, after it first happens people may hold the hope of returning to their former selves, and may revert to their old behaviors (like dancing like a motherlover) because that is who they are. The problem is that they discover that, unlike before, they now pay a price: both an increase in pain and further physical damage. Her sluggish style might actually show she has LEARNED to take care of herself. Some of the weirdness could come from her being distracted by trying to keep things in check down there.

But I’m not sure, lets say its just a mild combination of a few issues – knee, mental health issues, and meds, its enough to take the sass out of a lot of people.

I really don’t know what her deal is – why she goes out and does this, she doesn’t look enthused, as many of you have pointed out. I don’t like seeing it. But, I don’t blame her. I don’t know what motivates people to do what they do, but she is choosing to, for whatever reason. It could be her form of catharsis, her doing her best to get involved with life. Maybe the machine is pushing her. Some of you find it pathetic, but if people buy her stuff for whatever reason (nostalgia, pity, campiness), she’s actually successful. Maybe its not the kind of success you respect, but maybe its good enough for her. Either way, her life is not over. She’s trying this out, if it flops, maybe she’ll try something else.

As long as she’s doing works (makes money), she can keep at it. Once they stop working, maybe she’ll have to figure out something else.

I love being snarky for play, but I guess I feel for child stars. I don’t feel like they got to have the experiences that give them the tools, in most circumstances, to adapt to cope with life in a healthy way. There are people who have it worse than them, but that doesn’t make their problems insignificant. I think there are people who deserve a lot more compassion than Britney, but since when is compassion a limited resource?

  58. Clavin says:

She looks like she has no interest in doing this crap anymore but unfortunately for her it’s out of her hands now. She makes a lot of people a lot of money and there’s no way they’re letting her stop the masquerade and go home. It is, to a tee, exactly what happened to Elvis (except he could really sing). What baffles me, though, is how Britney continues to get a free pass regarding how she doesn’t sing at all in concert. People will really pay top dollar to see what amounts to Britney standing there looking confused while a bunch of men gyrate around an elaborate, expensive stage set? I can understand buying and listening to the music but the appeal of the live show is lost on me.

  59. kwoww says:

if she wants to sing, sing and dont dance. if she wanted to focus on dancing,ok, lipsync. but for crissakes, dont lipsync AND not dance.

  60. Shy says:

The main problem is Britney’s weight. She is too overweight to dance like she used too. Her body can’t be plastic enough.

And then comes the most important question. With all that money she has, with all that free time when she is doing nothing – why on earth can’t she hire a personal trainer and loose weight. She can hire anyone, the person who will present her a diet. And still she eats all day long bad junk food and then looking like a fat cow.

Gosh – she is not even 30 years old. And yet she looks like some 60 years old granny when she is on stage. So tragic.

And let’s face it – Britney we loved is gone. She will never come back. She “died” (her personality) during her Meltdown. That was a no-return point. They gave her pills so that she would be sane. But Britney is gone. It’s just an empty and hollow person lives in Britney’s body. I want to cry when I see her old interviews. How normal she was. She had that sparkle. I can’t believe how mental illness can change person. So sad.

  61. Melanie says:

I always read these Links that Kaiser Söze lays down because one time she recommended a album that I love. (ok go)

  62. louise says:

I think it’s the meds not her knee. I haven’t seen her tour but Britney was also criticized for not dancing well during her Circus Tour. Also she can’t sing which is why she lipsyncs. I don’t know why people buy into the “dancing” excuse as to why she and others don’t sing live.

I don’t know why Enrique pulled out. I’m assuming money or demands by Britney’s team.

  63. DetRiotgirl says:

@clorismetchum I laughed so hard at your “she could be taking a nap” comment! I have to admit, I kind of feel the same way. In my mind, Britney has earned the right to be lazy.

I never really liked her when I was a teenager in her supposed age demographic. But, I love her now as an adult. Between the ridiculous white trash wedding, her knee injury and of course her famous breakdown, well, I just can’t help but love her now. She’s been through so much. I want her to succeed and be happy.

Also, to those who say she could never dance, that is simply not true. She was actually an amazing dancer back in the day. In fact, dancing used to be her only real talent. If you don’t believe me, look up her Onyx Hotel tour or her first VMA appearance with N Sync. She used to be crazy good. Trust me, I am both a former dancer and bff’s with a Britney megafan who has made me watch everything she’s ever done over the years. That knee injury really did change everything.

All that said though, she looks so sad these days. I think she should stop trying to tour or perform live. She just doesn’t seem to enjoy it anymore. I don’t know. Maybe it’s her injury, maybe she’s medicated, maybe she just lost her passion for being on stage. But, I think she should take some more time to rest.

  64. Sherri says:

Still better than anything Jessica Simpson can do…

  65. apsutter says:

This is just painful to watch…..this is literally paint-by-numbers dancing. And I love how for the first dance break she’s sitting in a freaking chair! I think this pretty much confirms she used a double in the video.

  66. Sue says:

I think I have more moves in my Zumba class — pathetic! I am intrigued with her appeal.

  67. dovesgate says:

She is not bringing it like she used to. Until she can, my opinion is that she needs to lay off the live shows and stick to releasing albums and videos.

Her weight isn’t an excuse either. I’m bigger than her and I can dance better.

  68. lucy2 says:

Lisa Turtle, I agree about the blind, but I think it was a different Ali, not Larter, that he was married to.

I feel sad for Britney, her people just keep shoving her out there, and it never goes well. People apparently still buy her music, why keep pushing her to perform, especially if she’s injured or medicated, or just tired of it?

  69. teehee says:

To be one who says somethign positive, I hate over choreographed circus (oops) performances. When concerts are over the top, not only is it taxing but incredibly distracting and unnecessary, I think. WHen an artist is good enough, all they need to do is perform their works live and the audience will be thrilled- no jumping thru flaming hoops on stage is necessary and only detracts from the quality of the music. I guess that goes against her, though- because she isnt singing and has no band- its all a tech track playing in the background. So…. the positive thing I have to say LOL is, I am happy this isnt overchoreographed like some sort of 1996 music video. The costume is still too much though and the backup dancers too.
She doesnt have to dance like she is havign spasms- she just have to feel what shes singing. [and we know, she doesnt/isnt anymore]
Some incredible artists just stand still as a rock in front of a microphone and no one else is on stage (except the musicians) and zero props.

  70. artichoke says:

her dancing has been half assed and phoned in for years now. she’s so stiff and looks bored.(but here i am still watching)her autotune even sounds off. c’mon brit, i know you have a better crew than this.

  71. jane says:

Don’t know what happened to her. I went to her concert, Dream Within a Dream tour and even have the DVD of it. She was awesome back then. The girl was a great entertainer. Now, she’s not even the same person/performer anymore. Don’t know how she lost it really. It’s like she has totally forgotten how to dance, and it’s sad, because she danced all her life.

  72. kiks says:

I can’t believe think that this has anything to do with her weight. I like her a little bigger and love how womanly her body looks.
Her eyes are dead and she is clearly heavily medicated. I love this girl and am thrilled to have more of her music to enjoy – but I am also very sad for her because her life is out of her hands. I just hope for the best for Brit Brit because she has worked hard enough and definitely deserves it…

  73. Magsy says:

Well, she still looks better than Lindsay and Christina. Not much dancing though just a lot of shuffling and ass cheekage.

  74. StraightFromA says:

I just had a thought- if Britney Spears could take some acting classes and loose the twang should would be a perfect Marilyn Monroe on the big screen…

  75. jc126 says:

Forget the dancing – how about singing live?

  76. Melanie says:

I saw a recorded video of a dance recital I had when I was 5, this kind of reminded me of that. It seems as though someone JUST showed her the choreography right before she went on stage.

  77. Flounder says:

I love her. I wish she and JT would get back together. What a gold PR move that would be..

  78. Zelda says:

    Horrible.
If you can’t dance, can’t sing, and are no more attractive than the average chick at the mall, how dumb are people for paying to see you?

  79. kikay says:

britney gotten so thick, even shes dancing she dont look like shes moving at all,she look like a linebacker in football, its like watching a big trunk of tree dancing, poor britney, well atleast after all those hopping on stage the thought of more hot chicken wings waiting for her at home, i guess its worth all those chicken dance.

  80. Mtn Girl says:

Britney posed mechanically, when did she dance OR sing?

Femme Fail is more like it.

  81. Susan says:

Are those… crotch vents on the front of that black and red get-up?

Wouldn’t want her getting swamp crotch when she dials in her dance performances.

  82. Ally says:

So… she lip syncs and she can’t even dance. What are people going to this concert for? Just to tweet about it or something? So depressing.

  83. Girl from Denmark says:

“Was that amazing or not?!” -No it wasn´t!!! If it was anything it was slowtastic. She´s far too thick og “big boned” to pull that outfit off. Yikes.

  84. Molly says:

Brittany is talented, but this performance looks very ackward, like she’s half timing the moves or her shoes were not comfortable. Her dancers were far better than she was.

  85. 80sgirl says:

Wow she really phoned that in didnt she.

  86. RHONYC says:

    @ Shy

And let’s face it – Britney we loved is gone. She will never come back. She “died” (her personality) during her Meltdown. That was a no-return point. i disagree totally because she banged the hell out of the ‘womanizer’ & ‘circus’ videos.

her dancing was ferosh and moves were crisper than ever…not to mention her body & face which hadn’t looked that good and toned down since ‘slave 4 u’.

britney’s just being a lazy ass.

she gets comfortable and doesn’t make the effort to keep her body tight b/c the checks are still rolling in.

and, because this is ‘america’ only a ‘blonde’ can get away with this kind of half-assed, crappy stage performance and STILL have teen fans screaming in the crowd.

    🙁

I don’t think her knee or any possible injury have something to do with her bad performances. Many athletes are back to Olimpic Games after similar injuries. After all she has never been a ballerina or even a Broadway dancer. Never seen her doing complex dance sequences. Technically she has always been an amateur, not a professional dancer. She has never been that talented in dancing or singing. But she was fresh, new, and she used to look happy to be there on the stage. She used to put a lot of energy in her performances.
Now I doubt she is so happy to be there entertaining people, looks like she doesn’t care anymore.

I remember reading a gossip site (maybe it was this one?) a few years back when Britney made her first comeback after her breakdown, and she was described as dancing “like a tranquilized bear”. I feel sorry for poor drugged-up Brit, but that did make me laugh.

I’d bet it’s the meds for bipolar disorder. I read something a while back about how they had to adjust because she was too fogged out. She’s Bipolar 1 (the bad kind) so she’s probably on more than one, plus she’s still under conservatorship so that says something about her ability to function day to day.

I feel for her. It’s no fun to be mental.

I saqw Zsa Zsa gabor years ago on a talk show pushing an exercise video I think she was in her late 60s or 70s then and she moved more than Britney in that video! Its time this womans career goes the way of the Simpsons….(the girls not the cartoon)

    @ bluhare:

i never knew she was bipolar. if that’s true, i take back my laziness comment.

i am friends with people suffering from that, and you’re 100% right…its no picnic at all.

I don’t understand all the “fat Britney” comments. She looks great to me. Not a twig teenager, but a lovely normal weight woman with nice curves. Yes, I’m sure she could starve herself thin, but with the antidepressants that would be hella tough, plus possibly dangerous to her already unstable mental health.

  93. Hakura says:

Ack, gotta catch up with everything I missed!

@Ellie“How in the world do you idiots think she’s talented is beyond me. Your stupid!

Lovely, thanks for your input. And It’s… “You’re” stupid, by the way.

@Deeana“I question the wisdom of the courts in naming a directly benefitting family member as her “guardian”. Perhaps someone with a bit more “distance” wouldn’t make the same decisions.

ITA wth your comment in it’s entirety. She just looks so exhausted still, & while it may ‘seem’ to us that it’s been a long time since her meltdown, it really hasn’t been at all. What you bring up in regards to Britney’s well being really sounds like something that should be attempted for Lindsay Lohan as well. (But of course I don’t know what the requirements are before someone *can* take power of attorney, just mental illness?)

@Shy“She can hire anyone, the person who will present her a diet. And still she eats all day long bad junk food and then looking like a fat cow.”

Are you insane? You’d have to be to look at Britney here & think she’s a ‘fat cow’. (It sounds like you’re one of those people who think a size 8 should be considered ‘plus size’. You have no idea if she hasn’t a trainer or not. My guess would be that she does as she’s doing publicity. Her thighs have always been thick, but because of the dancing, not ‘fat’.

Flounder“I love her. I wish she and JT would get back together. What a gold PR move that would be..”

I think Brit has enough problems already, don’t you? Plus his habits with women wouldn’t help any.

My great love of Britney aside, It looks like she’s lost all ‘sensation’ below her hips, & the only movement she can do is waving her arms around while backup dancers crawl around to distract the audience from her lack of movement.

The job of this sort of entertainer is so physically & emotionally taxing to begin with. If you compound that with whatever mental medications she may be on, along with the fact that this ‘comeback’ has everyone watching with high expectations like a hawk… Well. Not helping things, probably.

Okay, so before I even read the CK ad controversy, and at first glance of the ad, I thought it said “F**K”. Then I gave the ad another look, and it clearly didn’t say that. Then I read the controversy! Looks like there probably is a subliminal message in there, and it just worked on me!

Glad I’m not the only one who thinks she looks wornout and bored. Ha! Why don’t pop stars just take a break, or end it while they still can.
