As I keep mentioning, I give Rosie Huntington-Whiteley credit for trying (and at times succeeding) to bring the fashion porn during the international promotional tour for Transformers: Dark of the Moon. Her style has, in my opinion, been at times hit or miss, but she’s the bright spot in an otherwise boring and tedious promotional tour, and I’ve liked covering her. And then this gown happened… and I may have to rethink my general ambivalence towards Rosie. I LOVE this gown. I loved the gown before I even knew it was Burberry, but know that I know, I understand why I love it so much. Burberry is simply making the BEST, most flattering, best-constructed, loveliest clothes right now. This dress is absolutely gorgeous, and it looks amazing on Rosie. I would love to see variations on this dress on other celebrity women too – Charlize could work the hell out of this, as could Halle Berry, or even (gasp) Angelina.
So, do I have to eat it and just admit that I kind of love Rosie now? I guess I might. This dress is a game-changer for me. The dress makes me say, “Megan who?” Bitch got it right, and then some. I look forward to Rosie’s promotional tour from here on out.

LOVE this gown. Perfect. Charlize or Halle could definitely rock this dress as well. I don’t think it would work on Angelina as it would put her bones on display.

I don’t like it. It doesn’t have a very nice transition from the top to the skirt. Its all odd, I hate seeing the seams, its too long, which is creating these odd little wrinkles in the dress and bunching. Its really plain, I hate the detailing on the straps. It screams first year at fashion school.

I agree. Lovely colour! The cut works for her body type. Bits of 20s inspired beading without over doing it. The deliberate cuts in the fabric for shape are delicate. I think it would have done for a length just skimming the instep for her feet, but if not already tailored- wonderful fit.

I feel like her lips are deflating which looks much better. They don’t look soooo huge right now. Does she do the fillers? Which doesn’t make sense if you already have full lips but whateves. I love Burberry and the color of this dress is gorgeous on her.

I actually love this dress. The cut is unusual but it almost looks tailored to her curves. I don’t like that it looks like she’s stepping on it though. Otherwise lovely.

The dress looks like the white jumpsuit she wore to that show, by the way.
EDIT: After I read a blogger saying Michael Bay looked like a “keytar” player from an eighties’ band, I can only see that when I look at him. Hate his movies with a passion and still feel bad that one day I decided to watch one of them (the whole movie, I mean). I have never managed to sit through a Roland Emmerich movie though, don’t really know who is the worst one…

Rosie is such a beautiful girl. That color looks amazing on her, but the dress is just one huge, plain MEH..I don`t care if it is a Burberry or not. She is misguided fashion-wise, and should definitely start wearing something that compliments her figure better…

So close and yet so far . . . color is lovely, dress line is great, she wears it well, but I really dislike necklines cut down to the waist like that. Just don’t like them. A little more fabric on the bodice and I’d be wiping drool marks off my computer screen right now.

Beautiful dress but she’s rather boring. Exactly what you would think of a model, very 2 dimensional. At least Megan always says the most unintentional hilarious things. I still prefer Megan’s styling aver all. at least Rosie has dialed down her trout pout.

She has a really good stylist. All of her looks for the lead up to this movie have looked great. She’s a model, so it’s pretty easy for her to work a dress too. I can’t get over her looking kind of stupid though. Like a really pretty, dimwitted poodle.

I love this navy dress. And I loved the glitter dress she had on yesterday too!
What I find true inspiration from… is the look on Rosie’s face… when that dick head, Michael Bay, stands next to her.

I can’t help it. Whenever I see a dress like this on a woman, no matter how young and perky, the boo*s always look saggy. I don’t think it flatters anyone. That being said, she does a pretty good job of carrying off the look. Bravo.

The 47 or whereabouts marketing troll posts on this comment page can’t remove from the fact that this person is a sex-change recipient, at least partially, and REALLY looks it and the idea that the public doesn’t notice almost makes the whole thing, being a “TRANSFORMERS” movie, a funny knee-slap joke, but in the end, pun intended, it’s all pretty immature and discriminatory.

I’m glad I’m not the only one who feels this way. Rosie is a beautiful woman with a lovely figure, but I don’t see what everyone is getting all excited about where the dress is concerned. Especially the way it’s all bunched up at the bottom because it’s ridiculously too long.
