So we got Spiderman 1 remake sth going on here?

Srly wouldn’t have expected to say this, but I wish Tobey was back with a actual 4th one, not some remake bull.

  2. Quest says:

I felt like I was playing one of those “video games”…now my head hurts…just imagine this in 3D

  3. Liz says:

    I’m with ‘Dave’ above

  4. Heatheradair says:

Why is that Yeeeah d*ck calling Vanessa Hudgens fat????? Has he never seen a girl who’s not anorexic riding a bike? Ugh.

  5. mcleodlt says:

Alan West is not a ‘d-bag’ – Rep. Wasserman Schultz was lying. The “Cut, Cap and Balance” bill that Mr. West supports makes no changes to Social Security or Medicare. Most of the cuts in the bill come from discretionary spending. The bill specifies that the $35 billion cuts to mandatory spending would come from non-veterans, non-Social Security, non-Medicare spending. Look it up and you’ll know.

  6. RocketMerry says:

Meh. I never liked Spider Man, I dislike remakes and I’m unimpressed by that blonde girl.
I will say this, though: Andrew Garfield really is a good actor. Let’s hope he gets lots of good roles.

  7. Liz says:

That K-Stew video is actually pretty damn hilarious. 🙂

  8. mia girl says:

I’m not sure I like the whole “back-story” thing they are implying for Spiderman.

I’ve always liked that Spiderman was just some average kid who happened to get bit by a radioactive spider and had to deal with that. It’s one of the reasons why they’ve always been my favorite superhero movies.

Is the back-story with his parents in the comics? Maybe then it makes sense.

  9. Marytere says:

    @Mia Girl
Yes, the backstory with his parents is in the comics, they were Shield agents and were somehow related to the red skull. Peter’s parents were spies!!!
Also, Gwen (the blond) is his first girlfriend, way before Mary Jane. My brother is a fan of Spidey and has read “The amazing Spider Man” since No. 1

  10. cz says:

Yeah, I’m totally over these remakes and re-imagining of these superhero stories (except I think they’ve done really well with Batman…) I never liked Spiderman that much to begin with. I really don’t like this actor as well, he is so annoying. I’m not looking forward to the Superman reboot either. You can’t mess with Christopher Reeve.

  11. lucy2 says:

Another Spiderman? Too soon, and unnecessary.

I don’t know enough about the CC&B bill to get into the politics of it, but I found it hilarious that Rep. West said “If you have something to say to me, stop being a coward and say it to my face!”…in an email. An EMAIL.

  12. mia girl says:

    @Marytere
Thanks for the info. I knew about Gwen but not about his spy parents.

  13. lola says:

spiderman has been done already, and it’s not interesting enough like batman to be rebooted so soon.

He’s a cute guy, but I feel like he’s being forced on me already and the movie isn’t coming out for another year. He also looks like a falcon to me, which is not really my thing.

  14. merski says:

This trailer sucks… :/ Sorry, but this movie doesn’t look worthy of the talent involved in making it… Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone are one of the most interesting young actors out there right now. Hope they’ll move on to better things after this.

  15. madpoe says:

OoooOOh I hope they tell us how Peter Parker learned to sew his own hero costume by hand! Not!

  16. Rhiley says:

Nevermind what I was going to write about Harper Lee I misread the laney piece and thought it was american sales of to kill a mockingbird.

  17. T.C. says:

Why does the new Spiderman suit look like it’s made from a basketball? That trailer did nothing for me. Like nothing but maybe little kids will like it.

  18. Flan says:

Why are they doing a remake so soon?

Understand the X-men a little, because it’s about just some of the older characters in their youth, but this…?

  19. the RiDdlEr??? says:

This is an origin story but with the real story this time this blond is his first girlfriend in the comics before mary jane. This is how it should have been told.

  20. Rachael says:

    That K-Stew video is hysterical.

And yeah I like both Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone, but I have no idea why they are doing this Spiderman reboot. Totally pointless.

  21. luls says:

OMG Hollywood is REALLY bugging me with all these superhero remakes!!! I swear to God watching this trailer, I was making SCENE BY SCENE comparisons to the original Spiderman Part 1 with Tobey McGuire. THATS how FRESH in my memory it still is.

Oh and DONT even get me started on the 3D TREND. TOTALLY useless. The only 3D movie I have thus far felt was worth paying the additional money for (and tolerating those AWFUL headache inducing glasses), was AVATAR. Every other 3D movie iv seen since that one, was a rip off!

I WONT see the new spiderman, the avengers, the upcoming superman reboot, captain america, the inevitable green lantern sequels, or any of the sequels for the above mentioned.

    F*kc!n idiots. (Excuse my French)

  22. Amanda G says:

LMAO that Kristen Stewart video is great!

And yeah, way too soon for a spiderman relaunch. In fact, I’m sick of comic book movies in general.

  23. Kitty_Cal says:

Excuse a comic book geek but it seems to me there are going with the comic book back story of his parents being agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. That pleases me.
