Foo Fighters singer Dave Grohl and his wife of 5 years Jordyn Blum are expecting their second child together, a sibling for daughter Violet born April 2006.
Foo Fighters rocker Dave Grohl is to become a dad for a second time – his wife Jordyn Blum is pregnant.
The couple’s representative confirmed the news to People.com, although no further details were released.
Grohl and his second wife Blum, who have been married for five years, are also parents to daughter Violet Maye, two.
Celebrity Baby Blog has had quite a few commenters saying that she looks pregnant, mostly because she is a skinny little model who suddenly started to wear baggy clothes, so naturally those seasoned bump watchers went crazy.
Dave Grohl has said in September that Foo Fighters would be taking some time off, and releasing a best of album, probably titled Best of You . (That’s my prediction, not his.)
He also says he loves fatherhood, but finds it can be a bit mortifying.

But at the end of the class they start singing Puff The Magic Dragon and all the mothers are dancing with their babies. And I don’t have a kid, so I’m just [sways around with forced, pleasant smile] f’ing mortitying.Any nappy-changing tips?
You can’t be afraid of shit. That’s the number one rule. And you have to be like a Nascar pit crew. When it’s time to do it, it’s [mimes disposing of a nappy]- Tsch! Tsch! – done! And the more fun you make it, the better. Sing a f’ing song.
Fortunately, given Dave’s famously liberal use of the f-word, I suspect he’ll get revenge on his wife, because it isn’t going to be long before Violent shares his vocabulary loudly, and in public.

Dave IS a cool guy! My family and I see him almost every summer at the beach, and he’s very approachable. He picked up the tab for another family who he had just met in a restaurant and invited to have dinner with him and his family. I wish more famous people were like him!
