Sandra Bullock and Louis were photographed looking super cute while dressed up as pirates to go to a birthday party in Brentwood yesterday. At least Louis was all decked out like a pirate while Sandra put on a jaunty hat to go with her casual jean outfit. I’m pretty sure Sandra tipped off the paps since all the photo agencies we subscribe to have really clear gorgeous photos of this party. So at least I don’t have to feel bad about publishing these pictures. Sandra seems to have signed off on them, and she’s having fun so why not? It’s better to get the press to focus on how much fun she’s having with her adorable kid than to maybe realize that she got ditched by Ryan Reynolds for a chick who seems to date everyone. She’s making sure she gets some good photo ops, and these are the best. Here’s more on the party:
Dressed for the high seas, the adorable 21-month-old and his mom attended a friend’s birthday party in the Brentwood area of Los Angeles, Calif. Sunday.
Sandra Bullock joined in on the fun, sporting a pirate’s hat as she toted around her pride and joy. The 47-year-old actress, who stars opposite Tom Hanks the upcoming movie Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, adopted Louis Brado from New Orleans in January 2010.
Nicknamed her “Cajun Cookie,” Bullock says she “got lucky” with her her son. “Motherhood has made me a better person,” the star has said. “I really appreciate where I am.”

I love these photos! Louis looks like he’s having so much fun, and it’s so great to see him smile. Most of the time when we see him he looks like he’s being rushed somewhere, and there’s probably a bunch of photographers yelling his name and confusing the poor toddler. He’s relaxing and having fun here, and so is his mom. Bullock really is a PR master. She gets it right every damn time. Even when it’s obvious she’s doing it, she still works it like no other. Well, someone else does come to mind but I’m not starting anything.

Louis is very cute. I personally just can not stand this woman. She is such a robot. She never has any emotions. Her husband can cheat and she doesn’t seem to care. She just goes through life with no emotions. REgardless of what is going on in her life she has the same look – not happy not sad – just nothing. I kind of understand why Jesse cheated – with a woman who has no emotions it would be hard to connect.
That child is both cute and soulful. You can tell that there is and will be a lot going on with this boy and his still waters running deep.
My little brother was a very serious child. There is really only one or two photos we have of him smiling or laughing as a child. That’s just how he was–very active, introverted, pleasant, but serious and given to glowering when he didn’t get his way. He still glowers as a matter of course, but he is much more expressive now. Some children are just like that, and I’m sure having paps in his face 24/7 isn’t helping his comfort level!

I love this kid. Soooo cute. Some kids are serious, especially if they are tired and being bombarded by flashes and yelling strangers. Totally normal. For the most part, she keeps him out of the prying eye of the cameras so it must be a total shock to him when he experiences it. Looks happy and healthy.

EDIT #2 – Really Pat??? Would it better if she went as low rent as Jesse did and cried the blues and pulled her hair out for the cameras? Sandra showed incredible restraint and decorum. I think she’s a classy lady who handled herself beautifully.

Louis is too adorable. If this was a PR moment by Sandra then I think she did a good job keeping it subtle and tasteful. I think this was her way of showing off her adorable son than about her career. She has the tools and knows how to use them wisely.
I really doubt that Sandra got ditched by Ryan. I never thought they were dating. I’ve said it before, I think Sandra just wants companionship rather than a sexual relationship. 1) If I got humiliated and hosed by my husband the way Sandy did, I’d be very leery of jumping into another intimate relationship. 2)Some women (emphasis on SOME) lose their sex drive as they get close to menopause. Sandy is 47 years old, so she is probably getting close. I think Ryan is her friend and I think that their relationship was non-seuxal. I think Ryan filled her need for companionship and Ryan had an older and wiser friend to comfort him and keep him busy while he was going through his divorce. I think she understood when it was time for him to move on and start dating again. I think it’s silly and juvenile that when we see a picture of a man and a woman together that we automatically assume they must be having sex. I think this was one of those times when that was definitely not the case.

This little man is an “old soul”. I saw this in his face the very 1st picture I ever saw of him. He just is taking everything in, absorbing everything at a deeper level than his peers just because he was born this way. I appreciate the themed party. Too little Halloween for the little ones these days. I have a nephew who is just this way.

He is cute and I have to say Sandy is one hot mama! She’s glowing, I don’t think she is worried about any Jesse or Ryan all rumors it’s one man in her life and that’s Louie!
I don’t think Sandra had anything to do with the paparazzi being there. The pictures are clear because the party is in a public park, and in one picture you can see that the paps are only a few feet away behind the fence. What can she do if they show up? They also followed her to a private gym and she was not happy about it and let them know by telling them they were on private property.
As for Ryan “moving on” – She denied every romance rumor immediately and made it clear in every possible way that they were just friends. I believed her because her denials were so strong and she’s never done that before with any other man. She didn’t want anything to do with a Ryan romance but the media and some fans went crazy with it. My take though is that Ryan was hoping for a little romance (what guy wouldn’t?) but Sandra shut him down. After going through what Jesse did I think she came out of it a stronger and wiser woman and knows that Ryan is not the faithful type. I mean, the guy seems to jump from one woman to the next in record time and he is the last thing a woman with a child needs.

Sandra doesn’t show any emotion to the public because technically none of our business. And I respect that because she has always tried to be private and about her work, so no, I’m not going to harp on the fact that she is not falling down drunk in pub when her relationships don’t work out.
