OH GOD. Here are some photos of LeAnn Rimes last night at the CMAs. She was wearing Badgley Mischka, a once great label that now just sticks random ruffles everywhere and uses Rumer Willis as their “face”. So… no, I won’t go there with a rude joke. Let’s just say that LeAnn looked like hell. And it wasn’t just the fashion either! Look at her makeup:
Is she taking style tips from Christina Aguilera? I know I’m a prude about ladies and their makeup (especially considering I rarely wear makeup), but this is a massive “Makeup Don’t”. Don’t do child-like berry-pink lips for formal red carpets. Don’t do frosted blue-silver eyeshadow, ever. Don’t slather the eye-shadow on so thick it looks like it was applied in layers over the course of an hour. Also: Her hair is a complete mess. Stringy and busted. Those are the best descriptors for her whole look, actually. She looks like a Dairy Queen girl at the prom, no offense to the DQ. At least her bolt-ons are contained.
Also, this happened and LeAnn tweeted it, of course.
By the way, LeAnn participated in Us Weekly’s “What’s in my bag?” feature – go here to see. It’s basically just a big advertisement for all of the products LeAnn uses, but it’s interesting, I guess.

Ok, I agree her hair SUCKS big time, but…I disagree w/the assessment of LeAnn’s makeup.
I think the “rules” regarding the frosted blue eyeshadow are just that…rules. Now, this is just my opinion..but LeAnn has SUCH a weird face..weird, squinty eyes..I think the “rules” regarding makeup need to be broken regarding LeAnn.
I dunno..I think her makeup looks good because it makes her eyes look so much better/interesting here. Also, the berry-shade lipstick provides an interesting, layered look/facet to her face. I think the makeup “rules” generally are correct most of the time, but poor LeAnn is not a naturally beautiful woman, and this makeup I think tends to enhance and define her less-than-lacklustre features. Again, just my opinion.
The dress? Yuck.

The funny thing about LR CMA look is that several of LR mouthpieces(Dailymail and GG)told LR that she looked GORGEOUS and implied that she looked SEXY. Taste of Country put LR on their worst dressed list and 77% voted that LR CMA look was a flub. Mateo must have been mad at LR.
Is Leann taking photos with Miss Piggy because she is once again taking digs at BG(ie-slutpig reference from Kim)? Why is Leann SO insecure? First her HW costume and now this?
How interesting that the article was from US Weekly, since LR leaked her affair with EC to them. Can LR do one thing without exploiting EC kids? Overbearing much. Based on LR staged DAILY photo-ops with those kids we know that the first line of that article is a lie. In the photos of them at the Kid’s soccer game/fair, the boys had food and candy smeared all over their clothes and faces. If these articles are going to lie for LR, they should at least check their facts first. Maybe the wipes are really for EC?

You know, I could forgive the ruffles and even the makeup. But that hair! I *think* I know what look she was going for but you actually have to WORK at making your hair look easy and flowing and natural. You can’t just let it air dry and pull some of it back with a barrett – or else it looks like that.

My husband (he doesn’t really follow celeb gossip) who hasn’t seen LR in photos and/or on TV for quite some time, commented on her during the CMAs last night. He said, and I quote… Wow, Leanne Rimes looks like an old washed-up whore. That about sums it up.
She is so unattractive i just don’t know where to start. Is she trying to go with the equine look?Those teeth, my lord, don’t fit in her mouth.

Leann didn’t back off and isn’t doing what she is supposed to do, sure she didn’t attend the play with BG and EC, but she still hasn’t stopped tweeting/talking about those kids on twitter/interviews(hence the first line of US Weekly article). And LR is gloating about how her hubby is going to ditch his kids so that he can join her. BTW, should EC be doing all that traveling on planes where he has to sit for long hours with his so called “injury” to his Achilles?
Once again Leann is not the victim here and people are not picking on her for no reason at all. She didn’t get a good reception at fashion week, why would CMAs be any different? And why is LR taking all these digs at BG? LR is her own worst enemy.

It never broke the iTunes Top 200 singles and peaked at #62 on the iTunes Top 200 Country singles. Her Cd fell 120 spots in 2.5 days and she’s had three failed singles in the past two years. Radio hates her, iTunes hates her and Billboard (despite the 14 spot jump to #29 on the Dance/Club Play Chart) hates her.
Her latest CD has yet to break sales of 30K worldwide. Her previous CD “Family” sold 70K in the first week domestically. I guess my point is when anyone tries to GIVE validity to Le on her current musical standing, I can’t help but laugh 😀

I agree that it’s a definite improvement for Eddie and Brandi to attend a school event without LR but I wouldn’t get too excited. Eddie, like LeAnn, wants to be seen hanging with celebrities in hopes that he’ll be mistaken for one.

I’m dying over these comments. I am laughing more at the fact that Leann had a fit when Eddie couldn’t make it to the CMA’s. Instead he opted to go to his son’s school play where his ex-wife was. Finally those boys will get to see both their parents at an event together for them, without the tag along. I think that’s beautiful. Eddie must’ve grabbed at least one ball back from Leann. Yay!!

I caught the final part of the CMA and, thankfully, they didn’t show her. I loved seeing Miranda Lambert, Taylor Swift, Blake Shelton, Keith Urban, Lady Antebellum, Carrie Underwood-entertainers who are humble, down-to-earth, and real.
Leann doesn’t fit with my idea of country as she is super fake, artificial, and mean. Thankfully, there are lots of beautiful voices (Carrie, Faith) that come from well-meaning people. Who cares about her voice when it comes from such a evil source.

I think Leanne looks very fresh and young. Eyeshadow didn’t show as bad on tv, because her eyes were more open.Her eyes really squint up when she smiles. It cracks me up so hard that she brings Mateo with her EVERYWHERE (including hanging out with her/staying with them in Chicago), and she always looks a hot mess. He is her hairstylist/makeup artist/stylist and on her payroll. He’s ALSO her confidante and “friend”. Leann continues with her lifelong habit of mistaking paid associates as “friends”. And these people never seen to be any “good” at what they are “paid” to do.
So nice for her she hid backstage at the CMA’s last night, went on the stage to no fanfare, tepid golf claps, then left with her “stylist” immediately after she got her pics taken with Miss Piggy, a Muppet. To go to her hotel with him, dress in their jammies and “laugh SO hard with each other”!!! Why she tweets this humiliating and EMBARRASSING stuff I will never “get”. She is a legit loon, I think is the ONLY explanation.

I have a friend that’s a makeup artist and she once told me that the camera washes away about 40% of your makeup. So, when she does makeup for weddings, etc she does heavier makeup than your day-to-day. So, if Leann has that much makeup in these pics, imagine what she looked like in ‘real-life.’ Yikes! And that hair…wash it much? Maybe he just didn’t want to wash the Eddie stench off to try and make the other women jealous.

I am going to use Jenn12 because I see a lot of other Jenns popping up. I think the dress was designed to make her look less bony and/or spark some pregnancy rumors. Too much makeup and those false eyelashes aren’t helpful. *Someone* must’ve told her that she has to back off and not push the “bonus mom” crap as hard as she has been because no way did she decide to back off on her own.
She looks very pretty, the dress is pretty too. It fits her perfectly.

I liked her when she was young and won that “So ya think ya can yodel” show or whatever it was. She was cute and had a great voice. She is so far removed from that little girl now that it’s hard to believe she is the same person. She has really gone stark flaming nuts and she only makes things worse with every tweet, interview, etc. LeAnn, honey, now listen to Peg. Ditch that sorry man, leave those little boys and their mama alone, and take a man-vacation for a couple of years. Get a therapist or a life coach or lobotomy or something and pull yourself together. Forget that LA life because it’s not for you. You are not a model or actress, but you are a darn fine singer. Maybe you can make a comeback after a few years. It’s a shame to waste all that talent but now you need to change your ways before people will accept you again. Be good, stay out of trouble, and think about it.

Looking at these photos, particularly how gaunt her face appears, and then recalling a recent photo of her (in NYC?) without makeup, I was struck by how the shape of her face changes so drastically. I wonder if she’s on medication, like prednisone for example, that can make a face go into a rounded shape as a drug reaction. Is this woman physically ill? (In addition to her bizarre emotional swings?) She is a puzzlement.
WTH? I thought Mateo was her friend? Maybe she needs to pay him more so he will be nicer to her.
On a brighter note the tabloid story on how Leann threw a hissy fit when the paparazzi accidentally mistook her for Miss Piggy should be a fun read.
Okay – gosh…let me make the main points….for one thing, she’s supposed to be known for her singing…but that isn’t that great…it’s kind of unfair to judge her looks if she’s a singer, but it’s not if she puts herself out there as a stylish, Hollywood type of woman….because she fails in that; she is probaby one of the most unattractive people I have seen….and that goes from the grocery checkers where I shop, to the woman I gave $3 to whom was holding a sign for help…but, always, and to all, God bless them anyway.

I don’t follow Twitter so I didn’t know that Eddie and Brandi were finally being “allowed” by the craziness that is MeAnn to parent their son(s) together. No way in hell did MeAnn decide to back off on her own; either her PR team laid it out for her, showing her the serious backlash she’s the object of and/or she knew she couldn’t miss the CMAs because she’s falling off even that radar. Buying those boys thousands of dollars worth of crap is easy; backing off and letting their parents raise them together and be a quiet support is much harder, which is why MeAnn doesn’t do so. I’m shocked that Eddie put his foot down. Maybe he’s getting as tired of her endless drama as everyone else. And since Brandi doesn’t call the paps, those boys not only had their parents for the night, but they weren’t dodging photographers. Finally, the ones who really matter came out on top….. even just for the night.

A) LR is upset because the media and public didn’t notice that GIVE was a “success”? It was just that insignificant that even I missed it. Did LR even tweet about it?

@Brin- yes, totally. Brandi doesn’t seem intimidated by MeAnn, but I bet that MeAnn doesn’t want to face her head on. Maybe she was surprised that Eddie was going to his son’s play and not giving in to her? Certainly she has to be shocked that the woman she managed to usurp has been such a tough player. But I’m willing to bet that Me’s PR team has sat her down and said, “This backlash isn’t going away” which was why she stayed away from the play. As for the dress, it’s hideous. On anyone. Ruffles are for little girls; my 7 year old doesn’t even like them that much anymore. I really believe she was trying to look fuller and/or spark some pregnancy rumors.

LR and her handlers keep thrusting LR down people’s throats, and then when LR gets negative feedback they scratch their heads in bewilderment because they just don’t understand why their pr stunt failed. People don’t like LR and yet ABC family(which was probably a favor that her BFF called in) is allowing LR to produce and star in(with EC of course) Operation: Married By Christmas.
They should have learned their lesson AFTER they lost viewers when NBC and EC kept annoucing that LR was going to guest star on PBC. And this is why LR continues the bad behavior towards BG and those boys because her pals at NBC/CMT keep rewarding her for it.
Well one thing is for sure, LR is doing everything in her power to keep the money in her pocket because she knows that without the MONEY EC will leave her.
Since LR CMT movie is airing on Sun, and really hope that LR doesn’t set up or stage ANY photos with EC and BG kids or writes a blog entry about them.
NBC will go through ANY lengths to protect LR. LR didn’t like the negative feedback her dress and makeup were getting at the CMAs, so what does she do?
She has her pals at NBC include her in their piece about the 11 best dresses at the CMAs. And it doesn’t end there. They even had the audacity to put LR first in list to imply that her dress was the BEST one. What makes what NBC did so sad is the fact that even the Taste of Country(who are always sucking up to LR) thought that LR dress and makeup was bad; hence why they included LR on their worst dress list. How does NBC even justify putting LR on their best dressed list?
First NBC cooks up a fake injury for EC and now they attempt to make LR feel better by ranking her #1 on their best dress list even though there is a ton of evidence to contradict their decision. No wonder NBC has a ratings problem.
She looks like Bozo the clown with that clown eyeshadow. Didn’t she have a mirror handy before she left for the show? I would be MORTIFIED if I looked like I was hired for a children’s party. Strange wouldn’t EC have picked up the kids from school rather than sitting on a couch with LR?
LR kicks off her latest round of “I am more popular than BG” mega media blitz by staging a photo-op of herself laughing as she walks out of LAX wearing a maternity shirt. Yes LR, what a great way to convince people that your life with EC is happy and blissful and that EC isn’t cheating on you. No one would ever suspect EC of cheating on you if you bombard the internet and media with photos of you laughing hysterically as you leave Nobu and LAX while wearing a maternity shirt, right?
What a sad day for LR, so she has to walk around LA wearing maternity shirts in order to force the media to write “Is she or is she not pregnant” stories because she just isn’t having much luck.

Note to Leann: You and EC have no clue who these artists at the AMAs are because you are HASBEENS and are not being invited to the same events/circles as these other successful artists because you are not in their league. If LR was so happy and content with her family, why would she invite the paps along with them while they are on vacation? Engaging in pda with EC on a beach while his kids are nearby doesn’t prove a thing, especially when there is LR tweet to the YFB site saying that she is going to showcase the clothing while on vacation. LR marriage to EC is a sham.
So in exchange for a trip, in which LR is going to invite the paps along because some clothing line was foolish enough to give her free clothes, EC allowed LR to exploit his kids on twitter, a blog, and set up yet another staged photo-op(apparantly she is gearing up to release a “happy family” staged photo-op at a nail salon with EC and his sons & her mother in law because she lovEs LR so much).
Cue the backlash. Watch as LR scratches her head in bewilderment when her lastest vacation photo-ops with her, EC, and BG & EC kids result in a massive backlash against her and EC.
