Go back and watch Madonna’s videos from her sex days. At least they held your interest and were visually interesting, not bump and grind dancing. Most of her videos had very little dancing in them except from her earliest albums. Vogue – what an iconic video. Cherish, a carefree video. Papa don’t Preach. Like A Prayer is amazing.
Justify My Love her most provocative video and provocative about a couple’s sexual fantasies actually looking back is very fascinating and shot in black and white and no dancing.
Erotica album had her Erotica video telling a story of S&M and no dancing but the rest of the videos from the album were Rain, a gorgeous ballad video; Deeper and Deeper, a Studio 64 type arty video; Bad Girl – a fantastic video with Christopher Walken about a woman numbing herself with dangerous behavior. Madonna made great videos back in the day.
