On Friday, Brooke Mueller was arrested and charged with possession and assault in Aspen, Colorado. She was arrested in a club called Escobar, which is kind of perfect (and perfectly sketchy), and according to sources, she was held in jail for the rest of Friday night, but she got out on bail in the morning. Radar claims that it was Charlie Sheen who bailed her out. Because almost two years ago exactly, Charlie and Brooke were married, and getting hammered and doing drugs together in Aspen when Charlie decided to choke the hell out of Brooke and threaten to kill her. And now he’s bailing her out. Sigh…
Charlie Sheen stepped up to the plate and posted Brooke Mueller’s bail Saturday morning, a reliable source is telling RadarOnline.com exclusively.
Her own parents, who have been trying to help her stay sober and assist with child care, are said to be furious and wouldn’t come to her rescue this time. “They actually wanted to leave her in jail,” the source says.
As RadarOnline.com reported, Sheen’s ex-wife was arrested in Aspen early Saturday morning. She was busted on a felony charge of possession of cocaine with intent to distribute and a misdemeanor charge of assault.
She was released after posting an $11,000 bond, with her first court appearance scheduled for December 19.
“Brooke’s family is done with her, she has to get straight or she is going to die,” the source tell us.
RadarOnline.com has reached out to Sheen’s rep for comment but has not had a reply.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Sheen paid Mueller’s bail after she was arrested over the weekend in Aspen, and charged with felony drug possession, and a misdemeanor charge of assault. She was released after posting an $11,000 bond, with her first court appearance scheduled for December 19.
Brooke has battled an addiction to crack cocaine for most of her adult life, and has been told that she must enter a long term treatment facility, immediately. However, the mother of toddler sons, Bob and Max, is steadfastly refusing to go.
“Brooke has done rehab on her terms in the past. Thirty days isn’t enough for an addict like Brooke. Brooke is calling the shots, and not listening to her family, or medical professionals that are telling her she needs to be at an in-patient facility for at least nine months, and not as a day patient, as she has done in the past. Anything less than nine months is a disservice to Brooke, and frankly, is a total waste,” a source close to the situation tells us.
Mueller is “simply powerless to her addiction right now. It’s a disease and it’s very much in control of her right now. Brooke is the most amazing, caring woman, and mother, when she is sober. Brooke just can’t get in control of her disease, and if she doesn’t finally surrender to it, and listen to what her family, and medical professionals are telling her to do, she could die,” the insider says.

There were rumors that Brooke was even using while pregnant with the twins, and that she was in and out of rehab during that time too. And since giving birth, she’s been looking more and more crackie. Also, I think it’s BS for Brooke to say that she doesn’t want to be away from her kids – from what I’ve seen and heard, Brooke only sees Bob and Max occasionally, and they’re being looked after by Brooke’s extended family. Sad. I wonder if Brooke has ever crossed paths with Lindsay Lohan? Who’s more crackie? I think Brooke might win that one.

I think it’s so sad when someone’s life is ruined by drugs like this. This is what this article makes me feel like. Sad that this grown woman is completely hooked on drugs until it’s the only thing left in her life.
I hope someone manages to send her to rehab for as long as she needs to become clean (and stay clean). In the long run, her kids need her to get treated and become clean much more than they need her around for nine months, cracked out of her mind, only to die a few years later of an overdose.

As Lainey would say: sad smut. Or more like tragic smut. I don’t see this ending well. Somebody seriously needs to do an intervention. For Sheen it doesn’t matter, he’s rich and won’t ever change. He’s the kind of person who can do drugs his entire life and won’t die from it, it’s his “thing” but Mueller seems like the person who’s going to end up dead. She doesn’t deserve it, nobody does. Whatever she did in her life, a punishment like addiction and subsequently losing your children is far too harsh.
For starters, Sheen should be out of her life, he’s just an enabler. Second, stop her from doing interviews, nobody should allow such a crackhead visibility with her children like she’s some sort of celeb. It’s sending out the wrong message…Third, just force her into rehab like they did with RDJ. If it’s not volunterarily, just force her over and over again!
I get what you’re saying but Sheen is always going to be in her life because they have kids together and forcing her into rehab is not going to do anything if she doesn’t want to get better the woman has been in and out of rehab already.
The reason why it work for RDJ is because he wanted to be clean he hit his personal rock bottom and was ready to get better.

had a similar experience myself..I’m a older woman, told them I had a titanium knee replacement before I stepped in that scanner and of course it went off did they take my word for it nooooooooo they had to pull me aside and pad me down like I was a criminal..this little old kentucky grandma….and they let a young woman walk thru in front of me with enough metal sticking in her nose, lip and ears to set off every alarm in the country… !!! I will tell you I left them with a ear full of my opinion of them before I left……

Though it’s pretty weird that they let that girl through unchecked, when you approach the detector, you’re the only one who knows that you’re being honest. Airlines aren’t much for the honour system, so when it’s within reason sometimes you have to accept that they need to confirm what you already know. That is, as long as it’s a simple pat-down. I would like to think that should it have been the case that you were grossly mishandled, someone in the vicinity would have had something to say about it. I had to submit to one at a wedding reception, once.

No she has NOT reached rock bottom and most people with money or a way to get money easily never hit rock bottom unless they die. The thing about addiction is that those without the addiction can sit back and easily judge but for most addicts it is not as easy as just quitting. It is their whole life and in order to be successful they must be willing to change everything about themselves and that can’t be easy. I’m sure she loves her children but she can’t help loving her drugs more right now, she is sick as most addicts are. Hanging around the likes of Paris Hilton will not help her nor will people sitting in judgment of her make her stop. Only she can stop this cycle and it will always be on her own terms if she lives to stop that is how it is with addiction of any type. The addiction rules the addict. Charlie should have left her in jail however.
Well said. This post just makes me incredibly sad for her. She is suffering from a disease and the way she keeps relapsing makes me think that she will be in for the long haul. You can’t force someone to get sober, they need to want it and her actions are saying that she isn’t ready to be sober yet.
Very well put. And when I was in rehab I heard 1 in 30 will be successful at sobriety. Didn’t believe it until I got out. And apparently crack is REALLY VERY HARD to break the addiction to. I had and have a hard enough time with my own addiction and can’t imagine trying to get over crack.
I would say 9 to 18 mos in jail time would equate to the 9 months in rehab and she couldn’t buy her way out after 4 wks like she’s done in the past…Don’t sweep the drug charges under the rug….jail is the only place she can’t buy her way out off…and no methadone substuite either…This girl is in serious addiction and jail is her best treatment…and her mother has the kids and she only get visitation which she uses rarely…that is not a excuse..tired of all the druggie crack heads buying their way out of punishment like this girl, and Lindsay, and Charlie …this will end up bad she will be found dead of a overdose in the not to distance future if she is not stopped cold in her tracks..so stop emabling her already……

Oh Gawd! another addict! It’s unfortunate she has so much money, it will keep her out there so much longer, but I tell you one thing, she does not want to go to rehab not because of “the kids” but because she doesn’t want to stay sober. Addicts are very manipulative and they will use anyone and anything to get their drug, she is using her kids to keep getting high, that’s the truth.
Brooke doesn’t want to get sober, and until she does, no rehab is going to help.

I love how her excuse for refusing rehab… is that she doesn’t want to be separate from her children. HA! Brooke doesn’t want to be separate from her damn dealer.
I seriously doubt that she even makes the effort to even see her kids at this point. She was caught in Colorado with a big bag of coke. Her only thought is to stay high.
She’ll be permanently separated from them if she can’t get her life under control. Crises are always rough and all the more when kids are involved, but they’re not even two yet, they’ll forget this period.
There was a year where I spent all of my weekdays looking after my baby nephew when he was one and if you ask him if he remembers when his idea of comedy was pretending he had stopped breathing to scare me, imitating his mum’s morning sickness (if you can call it that, she threw up once during her second pregnancy), running around in the nip with a wig on his head when I tried to change him or peeing on my feet while giggling and pointing, he will say no. He’s already mortified that he did this stuff and he only turned six. Kids forget. They are especially forgetful of mothers who overdose when her chidren are in their pre-memory stage.
What is sad is that Charlie’s $ is probably enabling her habit & possibly making it worse. I think he should have left her in jail. I also think the child support should go to her parents & she should be forced (somehow) to go to long term rehab.
My fiancee had a patient who kept pulling his (deep) catheter out and ten times he had to leave the house in a blizzard to put it back in. Finally a nurse suggested they not use pain killer and the guy never pulled it out again. Tough love can be necessary and effective sometimes!

I met her when they were first engaged. She was so pretty and fresh and seemed so sweet back then; although I did hear she could really pack it away, even back then. Heard they both did staggering amounts. I also heard she was using during pregnancy. I hope they can get her in for her own good. Maybe she could get into Claptons rehab in Antigua. She will certainly lose her kids if she doesn’t.
Not shocked he bailed her out. They seem to enjoy being toxic to each other. Anyways, who would he have to abuse if he let her stay there? Those goddesses didn’t even want to stick around and he paid them.
