Britney Spears' seven month-old son, Sean Preston, has fallen several times according to sources close to Kevin and Britney. He's said to have fallen off the bed twice and off the couch at least once.
Twice before, says a source, the baby has rolled off of the pop princess' bed and crashed to the floor. Doctors say Sean could suffer brain seizures or memory loss for years to come.
Both times Britney freaked out when she was wakened by the sound of her little boy screaming," said an insider. "She found him lying face down on the floor after falling from the bed."It was every mother's nightmare come true. She was so afraid he was hurt. The first time it happened, Sean was just over three months old. Fortunately the floor in Britney and Kevin's bedroom is carpeted and the baby was frightened but uninjured.
"But two weeks later, the same scary thing happened again. Once again Britney woke to find the little guy face down on the floor, crying his heart out. This time she was shaken to the core."
Another article states that Sean Preston also rolled off the couch when Kevin was supposed to be watching him, outraging Britney:
“When Britney came to the door, she heard a thump and then Sean Preston screaming,” says one insider. Brit immediately blamed Kevin, telling him, “You’ve been nothing but trouble for me ever since I met you.”
Kids fall, and my son rolled off the couch at that age when I was actually watching him. It wasn't that far and he seemed fine, but it was scary. Of course when a child falls more than a couple of times it is cause for alarm, especially when the baby ends up with fractured skull! Kevin probably wasn't paying attention to Sean Preston at all, and he deserves much more than a few harsh words from Britney.
Now Britney is said to be afraid of losing Sean since she's in the system with the Department of Children and Family Services. Considering how poorly the agency handled abuse claims against Michael Jackson, Britney doesn't seem to have much to worry about.
Britney has received a lot of bad press for driving with her baby in her lap and getting investigated by social services. An online poll in Us Weekly found that only 27% of the people who responded would let their kids play at Britney's house.
Here are pictures of Britney out shopping without Sean Preston yesterday. TMZ has a video of Britney walking to her car. The person videotaping asks "Is everything ok with Sean?" and she nods yes and gets in the car.
If you look closely you can see that she's wearing a locket with a little picture of Sean Preston on it.

The Duff and Simpson sisters happened to be at the same club in LA when Ashlee Simpson decided to call Hilary Duff fat. Haylie Duff defended her sister, and later talked smack to Jessica Simpson in the bathroom.
It looks like Ashlee and Haylie are the more aggressive sisters and it's too bad there wasn't an all-out fight between the two to report. Maybe if Haylie ran into Ashlee in the bathroom instead of Jessica there would have been more to report.
Ashlee is incredibly immature and petty but that's not news. The Simpson's rep is also pretty stupid if she's giving quotes like "Ashlee thinks Hilary has perfectly lovely arms."

Christina Aguilera appears in new Pepsi ads airing overseas. In the latest ad shown below, she riles up fans in a soccer stadium. She's also seen in an earlier ad (link leads to YouTube video) recording in the studio and singing onstage.

Instead of fulfilling her dream to model for Karl Lagerfeld, Lohan will have to settle for snapping the fashion designer herself. She's scheduled to take pictures of Lagerfeld for an upcoming issue of Interview magazine:
Lohan was passed up for a fashion contract by Lagerfeld for being too young, and is said to be desperate to get a high-end fashion endorsement deal. At least she has a sense of humor about it, but it seems rather lame that she's going to take pictures of Lagerfeld.
Lohan has a lot of projects coming up and will eventually star in a "dark comedy" called Georgia Rule with Jane Fonda and Felicity Huffman. The movie has yet to be written.

Christopher Masterson from Malcolm in the Middle, and Laura Prepon of That 70s Show have been a couple for over five years and live together in a house in LA. They don't get a lot of press since they seem to live a low-key lifestyle.
Prepon's series, That 70s Show, will air its last episode on May 18th:
This underrated sitcom, which revolved around the kids in the basement including Mila Kunis, Topher Grace, Ashton Kutcher, Laura Prepon and Wilmer Valderrama, brought aboard loads of guest stars. Bruce Willis, Lindsay Lohan, Jessica Simpson, Alice Cooper and Mary Tyler Moore dropped in.
"The reason the show was a hit is simple. It was groovy," said Tom Werner, executive producer.
That 70s Show may have worn out its welcome after Topher Grace and Ashton Kutcher left last season. Still, most people on the website Jump The Shark think that the show has yet to go downhill.
We knew that Chris Masterson's brother, Danny Masterson of That 70s Show is a Scientologist, and unfortunately a half-assed Google search confirmed that Laura and Chris are also involved in the pop-psychology cult. According to the website The Truth about Scientology, Laura has completed 7 of the cult's courses while Chris has completed 11, suggesting that he is more involved than Laura.
Let's hope this cute couple is keeping their distance from the evil cult, and that they each make the transition onto the big screen.
Masterson's new film, Intellectual Property, was screened at the Newport Beach Film Festival, where these pictures were taken. Prepon does not have another project lined up at the moment, according to IMDB.

Nicole Richie says that she realizes she's thin, but still shows how out of touch with reality she is when she attributes her weight loss to exercise:
She is quoted in Britain's Star magazine as saying: "Am I thin? Yes, no doubt about it. I'll squeeze in a workout when I have time, but I don't do any cardio. I don't need to, I'm thin."

Star Magazine is reporting that Tom is breaking Katie's heart by asking her to sign away custody rights to the newborn in case they break up:
Tom told ABC’s Diane Sawyer in a Primetime interview that the baby would not be baptized by a priest, which upset Katie’s parents. Katie seems to be worried about the changes, as well. A source tells Star, “Katie’s at a point of bewildered confusion.
She describes [converting to Scientology] like a personality transplant. One day she’s for it, and the next she’s terrified of morphing into someone else. She whispers into the phone that Tom and his people – she calls them “Team Tom” – are promising her the world if she’ll put her old life – and all the people in it – into the past.
That's scary as hell and maybe Katie will be able to eventually get her old self, and her child - out of that oppressive environment. I can't imagine my husband asking me to sign away custody rights - right after the baby was born! How evil.
Meanwhile the name the couple picked out of a baby book may not mean what they think it does. According to language experts, the name Suri is totally ironic:
So whenever someone says the name "Suri," they're really telling the little girl to go away. That's what the Scientologists have been doing to the real Katie all along.

Proving that her charity knows no bounds and is on a different level entirely than the lame attempts by her boyfriend to save the world, Angelina Jolie is planning to buy a country in Dubai and set it up for African refugees. The Bosh reports:
And the 55-year-old entrepreneur is selling parts of the 'world' to anyone rich enough to afford them. The 30-year-old actress, who is due to give birth early in May, is reportedly planning to turn her new purchase into a fair-trade paradise for hundreds of Africans.
A source said: "Angelina has been obsessed with Ethiopia ever since she adopted her second child Zahara from there. Her friends are very jealous of her purchase."
Jolie will also take out an ad in USA Today next week begging for the US to intervene in the long-standing genocide in The Sudan:
The US could have stepped in and stopped the violence in the Sudan long ago, but the neocons decided they wanted the oil in Iraq and choose to invent a genocide over there. Saddam Hussein may have gassed Kurds in the 80s, but US news outlets downplayed the event at the time. Now an actual genocide has been happening in The Sudan for about three years and no one is doing a thing about it. Saving hundreds of thousands of lives would have cost a fraction of the total of the Iraq war, but no one has given it any attention. Ironically that's why we pay attention to celebrities. It's easier than dealing with the tragedy and hypocrisy of the real world, and we're just as guilty as anyone.
Brad is gearing up his own philanthropic efforts. He will join "environmental group Global Green USA to sponsor a competition that will choose architects to rebuild parts of hurricane-devastated New Orleans."

Maggie Grace and Ian Somerhalder were step-brother and sister Boone and Shannon on "Lost." A flashback on the show showed that their characters were once romantically involved, and Boone was killed off early in the series.
The actors are supposedly dating, and have been seen working out at the gym together:
A source confirmed the romance to US Weekly magazine adding, "They stay out of the limelight, but they spend a lot of time hanging out and working out together at Gold's Gym (in Venice Beach).
"They kiss and hold hands when they come and go from the gym. You can tell they're a couple."
That's cute and they make a nice couple. Maybe we'll see candids of the two together soon.
Update: We were totally unaware that Somerhalder is widely considered gay. Sorry about that. The NY Daily News ran this blind item that is probably about the non-couple:
My aunt is best friends with Sue Fleming, the personal trainer and founder of Buff Brides. Sue has written three books to help brides-to-be and moms shape up: "Buff Brides," "Buff Moms to Be," and "Buff Moms."
That's why I got all excited when I read in yesterday's The Sun that Katie Holmes had hired "a personal trainer from BuffBrides.com" to help her get in quick shape for her wedding ceremony. Here's what The Sun wrote:

There are no lists of personal trainers on Buff Brides.com, so it sounds like Katie has hired Sue Fleming, the owner, herself.
TMZ then runs with this story, stating flat out that Katie has met with Sue:
Now we have the specifics. A source tells TMZ that it's a sleek, strapless A-line dress that is form fitted across the waist and falls to the floor. As for cleavage -- not so much. The bust is cut straight across.
We're told Katie has very specific goals to look great in the dress, working especially hard on her shoulders and back.
Sue Fleming, the owner of Buff Brides told TMZ that Katie has decided to use her program, with the help of a personal trainer who has licensed the Buff Brides fitness regimen.
Fleming has written fitness books for brides, moms and moms-to-be. Musicians, actresses, newscasters, and TV stars have all used her methods.
While Katie may be using the BuffBrides method with her own trainer, she has not met personally with Sue Fleming, and TMZ is mistaken. It seems like they could have simply asked Sue about it if they were able to get her on the phone.
BuffBrides and its companion books are excellent, easy-to-follow programs that you can do at home to get in shape quickly. Katie is sure to be looking great for her summer wedding with Tom Cruise if she faithfully follows the program. You can get the books from Amazon.

Now we're starting to feel sorry for Pete Doherty since he seemed to be cleaning up slightly and was even praised for his efforts by the judge at his sentencing hearing yesterday. The guy can't catch a break, though, and was just arrested yesterday on suspicion of drugs possession for the umpteenth time:
Police said a 27-year-old man was stopped in east London just after 2 p.m. by plainclothes officers and arrested on suspicion of possession of drugs with intent to supply. They did not name the man arrested, but the British Broadcasting Corp. reported it was Doherty.
The Metropolitan Police said the man and a 21-year-old companion were being questioned at an east London police station.
Hopefully officers didn't find any drugs on Doherty, and it will not jeopardize his probation.
In these pictures taken yesterday of Doherty shopping in London, he looks relatively sober. He's just trying to mind his own business while considering whether to buy a pair of binoculars. He seems really sweet and there's something about him that makes you just want to protect him... yeah, that must be how he snared Kate.
Hillary Swank was spotted jogging with some guy. That may or may not mean that she's dating him.

So now Hillary is photographed running with some new guy. The guy has to take his shirt off because it's dirty or something, and they're smiling at each other but not looking too intimate. They stand kind of far apart when they're exchanging the towels, and they seem self conscious about it. He could be her trainer, but he doesn't seem buff enough for the role. He's probably just a friend.

We dug around for these pictures of the new guy that Sienna Miller is supposedly seeing, Nico Malleville. Nico is an Argentinian-born model who has appeared in ads for DKNY and Burberry, and who owns several hotels. He might not be dumb, but he has to have something wrong with him in order to hookup with Sienna.
Supposedly they met a few years ago and spent a vacation in Mexico together just two weeks ago:
The loved-up couple stayed in the plush Coqui Coqui Spa on Tulum beach - one of the many hotels the Argentinian model owns - before travelling through the Mayan Riviera together...
"They enjoyed romantic candle-lit dinners on the beach and tried several pampering spa treatments." Earlier this month we revealed that after a reconciliatory dinner in London, Jude Law had flown to New York to see his former fiance amid speculation they are considering making up.
But her Mexican adventure may put a spanner in the works...
The romance didn't stop once they boarded the plane back to New York.
Sienna and Nico have been spotted several times lunching in Manhattan where she is working on her new film Interview. Nico is in the Big Apple modelling for Donna Karan.
Sienna's spokesperson refused to comment.
Now the timeline is incredibly suspect - because Sienna was said to have spent a few days with her ex Jude Law on Wednesday, April 5th, which is a little over two weeks ago. That means that Sienna is working two men and barely took a break between them.

There are plenty of stories this week featuring quotes from Paris saying how much she loves playing poker and is obsessed with it. We thought that she was talking crap to get press, but apparently she has a serious gambling addiction.
She lost her Bentley in a poker game, and her parents even banned her from the casino named after her and want her to go to rehab!
The 25-year-old Simple Life star developed her penchant for gambling after spending the last few months playing poker in Las Vegas tournaments with her sister Nicky. Paris revealed: "I'm obsessed with poker. It's my favorite game now. I'm lucky in Vegas. I always win."
But her lucky streak ran out after she lost her Bentley GT in a high risk poker game. Paris agreed to stay away from the city's famous strip of casinos but has now reportedly taken up internet gambling to get her thrills.
She has a lot more to lose than most of us, if her boyfriend has any sense he'll keep a tight hold on that $275 million he just inherited.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have come under fire for closing off roads to The Burning Shore Lodge where they're staying in Namibia. They've also been criticized for the agressive, over-the-top behavior by their security team, headed by a security guard who was once charged with murder. So far their guards have pepper-sprayed a photographer and grabbed one local female reporter around the neck!
The latest news is that a photographer was beat totally senseless by one of their secuirty guards - right in front of Brad and four year-old Maddox!
Tough guy Mickey Brett, the security guard overseeing Brangelina's high-security compound, issued this threat to the press earlier this week: "If I find anyone getting a picture of Jolie, I will f****ing smash someone to pieces. I'm not joking. I'll f***ing put someone in the hospital. Tell your friends."
According to the source, it was unclear whether Brett was the guard who scuffled Sunday with the unlucky paparazzi.
They need to get some new help right away, because it's unacceptable for people to get beat up or even threatened by the thugs on their staff. Maybe they'll realize that they can't let their staff hurt the paparrazi when they're slapped with some huge lawsuits for the damage they've caused.

Pete Doherty was put on 2 years probation and ordered to attend an 18-month rehab program as part of his sentencing for drug charges today. Doherty is also banned from driving for six months, and will undoubtedly abandon his many second-hand Jaguars.
The rehab program must be outpatient, because the judge said she would work around Doherty's Babyshambles tour schedule:
Court documents said that when police found plastic bags of crack cocaine in his right sock, Doherty told officers: "I didn't think I had it in there."
[Judge] McIvor told Doherty she would adhere to his pre-planned drug rehabilitation regimen, choosing the dates of his court-ordered drug tests around his lengthy tour schedule.
"It's a long, slow process, but you are showing sufficient signs of compliance and effort," McIvor said. She noted that Doherty hadn't been arrested for drugs since Jan. 14
Doherty may be turning around despite his outspoken love of most all drugs. He bragged before a concert in Ireland last week that he was sober. He's also scheduled to play in a celebrity soccer tournament!
Dohery was said to have reconciled with famous supermodel Kate Moss, and even bragged that they were planning to marry soon. Moss was spotted holding hands with an Israeli financier while in New York recently, however, and has called her sex life "nonexistent."
Yesterday it was big news that Brooke Shields had her baby right before little Suri supposedly slipped silently out of Katie Holmes. A more incredible detail is the fact that Katie and Brooke gave birth in the same hospital, on the same floor!
Everyone assumed that Katie gave birth at home as planned, but she is said to have snuck out with Tom to go to the hospital. She also chickened out and had an epidural - not that there's anything wrong with that.
"I'm pretty sure it was a silent birth because they kept saying, 'We're going to do it.' "
Silent births are espoused by the Church of Scientology, and involve just what the name implies: as much silence as possible during births by everyone there, even the mother.
"(But) she did have drugs," Cagle said. "She did have an epidural, and all of that stuff. And he did say recently that, if she wants to holler, she can holler..."
What no one could have anticipated, Cagle said, was Shields having her baby the same day as Holmes: "(Shields) not only had her baby yesterday, but in the same hospital, on the same floor as Tom's. So, clearly, the god of irony and hilarity was in Hollywood (Tuesday)."
Shields was famously criticized by Cruise for publically admitting that she used antidepressants to get over a serious bout with postpartum depression. Cruise believes that psychiatric drugs are harmful because of his cult's stance against their use.
Hopefully the baby was attended to properly and will be cared for by Katie, and not Scientology handlers, for its first three days.

Little Moses will make his debut alongside Barron Trump in the upcoming issue of People Magazine. Celebrities should wait a little while to release their baby's pictures in order to drive up the bidding and let their little ones grow into their faces. We're just saying.
It's hard to tell if little Moses has a trace of the fetal alcohol syndrome with the terrible face he's pulling, but maybe that's for the best.

Julia Roberts received a standing ovation last night on the official opening of her broadway play "Three Days of Rain." Many celebrities attended the show and after party, and people said they loved it. Unfortunately the critics trashed Julia's performance.
The New York Times said Roberts' performance in "Three Days of Rain" is "stiff with self-conciousness."
The play officially debuted Wednesday night at Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre on 45th Street in Manhattan.
The critic for The New York Post said: "Hated the play ... hated her ... liked the rain."
The New York Daily News wrote that there's "no chemistry" between Roberts and her co-stars.
The Washington Post said "the pretty woman is pretty much in over her head."
Only USA Today was kind, saying Roberts' performance was "credible, compelling and sweetly funny."
The play is a huge box office success, though, thanks to Roberts' star power. All 16 performances are sold out, and have grossed nearly $2 million.

In a new interview in Rolling Stone Nick Lachey comes off as a real stand-up guy.
He says that he had trouble in his marriage with Jessica Simpson due to the way that they were typecast in their reality show "Newlyweds." Lachey suggests that their roles as the ditzy blonde and the good guy influenced the way they interacted off screen.
He also reveals that Jessica's decision to divorce was completely unexpeted and caught him off guard:
The two had just come from having dinner after the American Music Awards.
"The meal was really nice, actually," he says. "We had a good time."
After dinner, they stopped by a friend's house to pick up their dog, then headed for home. On the way, Simpson asked if Lachey was still coming back to Texas with her for the Thanksgiving holiday.
"We already had our plane tickets," he says. "So I didn't understand the question. I said, 'Of course.' And she said something about how we hadn't really been getting along and then said, 'I think I want a divorce.'
"That blindsided me," he confesses. "I basically said, 'Please, let's sleep on it.' But when we woke up the next day, Wednesday morning, she was still sure."
Nick cries when he talks about his marriage, saying he would have done anything to make it work:
He wipes his face, eyes to nose to chin.
"I'd marry her all over again," he says softly. "Because I still love her. It would be a lot easier to walk away if I didn't."
And then the tears start again.
He also says that he doesn't understand Joe Simpson, Jessica and Ashley's controlling father and manager, but does not blame him for his divorce, simply stating that Jessica "is a grown woman." He says that Joe never liked him and was "an influence" in his marriage, but that he did not cause their split.
Lachey refuses to address the rumors that Simpson cheated on him while they were married. He says that Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine, whom Jessica dated up until a short while ago, approached him in a club to say that nothing happened between him and Jessica while they were married. Lachey says he believes him.
Despite reports to the contrary, he has refused to file for spousal support and says that he will not be suing Jessica for alimony!
And even more touching, he says he visited Jessica at her parents house and tried to win her back:
Lachey still has awkward conversations with Simpson on the phone every few days.
Lachey seems thoughful, gracious and introspective in the interview, refusing to blame Simpson for the divorce and never admitting her infidelity. Given his side of the story, it sounds to us like Simpson was too immature to deal with the normal problems in a long term relationship.
He is filming a new reality series for MTV that will focus on the making of his new album. After the responsible way he's dealing with his divorce in the press, his career is sure to benefit.

Matthew McConaughey pulled his car over and stopped a bunch of kids from setting a cat on fire in California. He saved the poor cat and gave the kids a verbal lashing:
As if being hot wasn't enough, this is not the first time McConaughey has acted the hero. He scared off a coyote from a toddler last year, and once performed mouth-to-mouth resusitation on a woman who had fainted.
McConaughy's two year relationship with Penelope Cruz may be in trouble. The two are said to have possibly split after spending a good deal of time apart.

In a funny twist on the slacker who doesn't leave home scenario, Mandy Moore had to kick her parents out of her new house in LA after inviting them to stay with her.
She said: “My parents moved in with me, I’m very close with my family.
“But the time came when I actually had to kick my parents out - because it’s my house!
“So I had to have the awkward talk with them like, ‘I think it’s about time you guys moved back to Florida,’ which is where I grew up.
“Not only did they lose me, they lost my younger brother who was going to live with me as well, and stay in the house.
“They became homeless and empty-nesters at the same time.”
That's kind of cute. Moore seems like the type of person who would be worried about kicking her parents out.

Janice Dickinson is going to star in a reality series as she runs her own modeling agency in Hollywood. It's going to air on the network that no one watches, Oxygen. From what we saw on Surreal Life, she's unbalanced but that doesn't mean her show will be interesting.
The show was originally scheduled to start filming back in November, but just had its initial casting call for models yesterday, when these pictures were taken.
It's hard to resist publishing pictures of Dickinson, who pulls all sorts of stupid faces. She's a good candidate for the new site Buttafaces.com.
Eva Longoria has revealed that she won't sign another contract with Desperate Housewives. She wants to be taken seriously as an actress and thinks she can make it on the big screen:
Asked how long she thought it would last, she replied: "God, I hope not past my contract. Shows wear out their welcome." The actress, who earns around [$300,000] an episode, said a break from Desperate Housewives would mean she could have children with her basketball star boyfriend Tony Parker, 23.

We realize that we reported the demise of Angelina and Brad's relationship just yesterday. Just because they're fighting it doesn't mean that they have to break up. A story came out in Britain's Mirror claiming that Angelina and Brad might get married in Namibia!
They're staying at the Burning Shore Lodge again, and just stopped into the Etosha National Game Park for a few days. (Thanks to Glitterati for clearing this up.)
The story that they're planning a wedding is totally speculative, but it sounds promising that their family is flying in:

Relatives are expected to join them within days.
An insider said: "We've heard Brad Pitt's brother Doug is flying out and some of her family, too. Everyone's wondering if they're going to get married here before the baby's born.
Of course Angelina is due next month, so that could explain the relatives flying in. Still it seems kind of early to have people visit, so it's possible that they're planning a wedding!

Paris Hilton is launching a new line of cellphone games, starring herself of course.

Hilton won't have anything to do with the project except for lending her name and likeness to the game.

Around midnight, Courtney Love made a surprise appearance, accompanied by Billy Corgan and her drummer/friend Lisa.

At 1:30 A.M., some boys and girls jumped in the pool, including Stavros - clad in his boxers - and Paris (who went swimming in her dress). Quite a fun way to cap the evening!

Jude Law, 33, is on vacation in California with his ex-wife, Sadie Frost, 40, and their three children. Jude was said to have reunited with Sienna Miller for a few days when he had nothing better to do. Meanwhile Sienna Miller scared off Kiera Knightly's ex, hooked up with Jude, and then was spotted with some mystery guy in NY. Jude supposedly said no to a blonde at a party a little while ago, which made me think that he was back with his ex, but I really have no clue.
While on vacation, Law has struck out at the paparrazi for taking pictures of his precious children, and TMZ has the video.
After threatening the photog ("I'll have you up for pedophilia!"), Law questions the cameraman about filming his kids, and the cameraman claims he didn't realize he was filming them. Law then appears to slap the camera, saying, "Look in your f***ing camera!"
Looking at these old nude pictures of Law made me feel like a pedophiliac I have to say.

Last week Lohan was said to be dating 37 year-old director, Brett Ratner. That was either short-lived or untrue, because now Lohan is linked to Jamie Dornan, Keira Knightly's ex.

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes' long-awaited baby has arrived. "Suri," a baby girl, was "born" on 3:00 am on Tuesday morning:

Matt Damon stars in a new PBS special about the environment that airs tonight at 9pm, "The State of the Planet's Wildlife". Damon warns about the coming "sixth extinction" that is being hastened by human overconsumption and the rapid depletion of the earth's resources:
The earth is no stranger to such disasters, the most recent of which was the "fifth extinction" that unfolded some 65 million years ago. It resulted from an asteroid strike that sent aloft a sun-blocking cloud of ash that doomed 75 percent of the planet's species.
This time, according to the show, the chief agent of destruction is man, who may be even deadlier than celestial bombardment.
"While there have been other extinction crises, this will be a dramatic alteration that will fundamentally threaten the future of humanity," says Bob Cook of the Wildlife Conservation Society.
Damon files disturbing dispatches from around the globe, augmented by testimony from conservationists and activists. During a visit to a teeming Shanghai market, we learn that the Chinese now consume more meat than even porcine America — one-third of the world's output, in fact.

Madonna, 47, is supposedly trying for another baby with her husband of five years, Guy Ritchie, 37. Madonna has a five year-old son with Richie and a nine year-old daughter from a different father:
The sexy singer... is said to have agreed to try for a baby after Guy told her he wanted their son to have a little brother or sister. A source is quoted in Daily Star newspaper as saying: "They are more in love than ever and having another baby will be their first priority.
Last month, Madonna was said to have put Ritchie on a curfew and tried to curtail his drinking. Ritchie's father confirmed that the couple was having trouble, when he said in a statement last week that they were going through a "bumpy period" and that "the children... will keep them together."
Guy will be going on a month-long extreme sports vacation with his friends next month and Madonna will be on tour soon, so they won't have much more time to try.
In related news Madonna will piss off plenty of Christians in her new tour. She's going to use a huge Swarovski-studded disco-fied crucifix as a central stage decoration.

This doesn't sound true to me, but I didn't think that Angelina and Brad would move their family to Africa, either, so it might be more than just a rumor. Angelina Jolie is said to be thinking of getting rid of Brad Pitt once their baby is born:
"It's basically over between Brad and Angelina," says a friend of the couple. They can't agree on anything - even where to have the baby."
Once Brad confronted Angie over her e-mails with Colin - she told him that if he couldn't trust her - perhaps they shouldn't be together, the report details.
Brad eventually backed off - but the damage was done.
There reportedly was never even a meeting with Angie and Colin, according to the story in the weekly magazine - but still the seeds of doubt appear to be planted in Brad.
And worse - the story claims Jolie is concerned that Brad is too jealous.
While this could be true, she is also due soon and is probably more sensitive than usual. Hopefully she will change her mind once the baby arrives.
Meanwhile their over-agressive security forces are pissing off the locals and threatening people, and the new tattoo on Brad's lower back has been revealed as a Sanskrit Buddhist blessing meant to protect his adopted son, Maddox. It is similar to the tattoo that Angelina has on her back. Will the guy ever get an identity of his own? No wonder Angelina's tired of him.

Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale were photographed at her parents' LA home on Easter Sunday. Stefani and Rossdale have recently confirmed that they're expecting a baby girl:
The 36-year-old singer recently revealed that the baby, expected in early June, is a girl. According to friends, Gavin is every bit as excited as his wife about the little one.

Tom Cruise brought his crazy public image to new heights by declaring in his GQ interview that he's going to eat Katie's placenta:
But, it seems Tom may have bitten off more than he can chew with his bold declaration.
The interviewer pointed out that a placenta is rather large, so Tom replied: "OK, maybe I won't."

When looked at from an evolutionary perspective, it's not surprising that Hollywood marriages don't last. There's a lot of temptation around and not much of a stigma attached to divorce.

In a show titled "Tall Tales and Legends," Oprah took a call from Jennifer Aniston to clear up the rumor that Oprah will host Aniston and Vince Vaughn's wedding on her Chicago estate.
"[The rumors] are so unbelievable," Jennifer says. "For us, I guess, at a certain point, you have no other choice but to think it's funny."
Aniston also said that she's no longer house hunting in Chicago, saying, "No, I'm good, actually. I've got my house." She must have hired someone to kill off those pesky rabbits.
Oprah then revealed the true purpose of the show when she denied that she and her long-time boyfriend, Stedman Graham, are having relationship trouble.

Jennifer Garner said she's looking forward to a break from working after Alias wraps. She also said that she was quite embarassed by the birth scene in Alias, and that it was difficult for her to film around the male crew of "Alias," with whom she's grown close over her years on the series:
Alias will be on ABC this week in a two hour episode that shows Garner giving birth:
Garner says she's going to take time off, but that doesn't necessarily mean that she doesn't have any projects lined up. It was reported at the end of March that she is going to get nude in an upcoming erotic thriller. It doesn't bode well for her nude scene that she was so shy about portraying the act of childbirth for Alias.
Garner celebrated her birthday on the set of Alias. She turned 34 on April 17th.

The baby she is holding is for the show, and is not her four month-old, Violet, who was reportedly on set with her.
Mischa Barton, the new face of Bebe in ads that are tamer than the hype would lead you to expect, was snapped outside her trailer playing with her dog. She's probably on the set of "The OC," although there isn't a description to go along with the photos.
Barton is reportedly single after ending her on-again off-again relationship with Whitestarr frontman Cisco Adler for good last week.
So we don't have a story to go along with these pictures, because unlike other singers there isn't much gossip about Aguilera and she seems to keep a low profile. Good for her.

This first picture of Moses Paltrow-Martin was printed in Britiains Daily Mirror:
The smiling actress cradled the six-day-old baby as they left New York's private Mount Sinai Hospital at the weekend.
But little Moses ??" wearing a pair of cute blue bootees and snuggled in a white shawl - slept through it all.
Gwyneth, 33, and husband Chris Martin, below, gave the tot his unusual name after the title of a love song the Coldplay frontman wrote about her. It includes the line: "Like Moses had power over the sea, so you've got power over me."
It's hard to see the baby, but since it's the first known picture of him we thought you'd like to have a peek.

We have plenty of Lindsay news and pictures today. Lohan made her second appearance on Saturday Night Live this week. She first appeared on the show in May, 2004. Commentors on the bulletin board where we found the pictures noted that she was funny in a couple of skits, but that the dialogue was bad.
Here's a video of one of Lohan's skits on SNL. She plays the fictional hip-hop artist "ambience" in an MTV parody. Wait until the video loads and then move the bottom cursor to the middle because she doesn't come on until halfway through, and the rest is not worth watching.

So Kate Moss doesn't really care about much since her comeback is in full force. She got an over quarter-million dollar contract with Calvin Klein a couple weeks ago, and now she's going to represent Nikon cameras:
Moss will appear in print, TV and cinema ads and on the web at stunningnikon.com to promote the point-and-shoot camera.
She's also rumored to be returning to Burberry after they dropped her during her cocaine scandal last year. Oh and there's a ridiculous new statue of her.
Everything is not roses with Kate. She was overheard complaining about her lack of a sex life. Her ex, Pete Doherty, with whom she is supposedly back together, bragged that he was sober while at a performance in Ireland this weekend, so that could explain it.
Update: Kate was spotted holding hands with Israeli financier Vivi Nevo at a party for model Jeisa Chiminazzo in NY recently.

Tom Cruise has tried to strike a compromise between a hospital and home birth for his fiance, Katie Holmes, by building a $250,000 in-house hospital for her:
Three medics from his Scientology cult - a midwife, nurse and obstetrics expert - have also been hired to be on hand when Katie gives birth.
According to a source, Cruise created the delivery room to provide Holmes with the right kind of environment for the Scientology 'silent birth'.
A tabloid quoted the source as saying: "Tom thinks his delivery room is the best way of providing a quiet environment. But if there are complications, she will be taken to hospital."
Tom told Diane Sawyer in an interview that aired on Friday that he runs "seminars" to teach his children and family members how best to adhere to the Scientology birthing rules.
As part of L. Ron Hubbard's arbitraty guidelines for childbirth and newborn care - which we mention every chance we get - the mother should be in a silent environment when she gives birth, the baby must be left alone for a full day after it's born, the mother shouldn't have contact with the baby for three days after birth, and the mother should refrain from talking to the baby for a week. Hubbard also discouraged women from breastfeeding and recommended a barley-based formula for babies.
Cruise told Sawyer that a silent birth is about creating a quiet environment for the mother, and that Katie can make as much noise as she wants. No one has questioned him about Scientology's recommendation that the baby be left alone for a day, however.
In building an in-home hospital, Cruise wants to make sure that he controls the environment and that no one in the public sphere will witness the cruel way they're planning to leave the baby alone.
Now that Tom Cruise has brought public awareness to the inhumane practices of Scientology, cult expert Rick Ross notes that it's one of the most unpopular religions in America. According to a CBS poll, only 8% of Americans view Scientology favorably.
Here is Katie shopping for even more shoes that will never fit her on 4/15 at Neiman Marcus. She's seen on the same day in a different outfit leaving Maxfields in LA. No purchase will be able to fill the hole in her heart from not being able to have contact with her baby for three days.
Just like Jessica Simpson, Sienna Miller has been spotted out in the wrong brand of jeans when she's contractually obligated to wear a certain brand:
So far so uncontroversial. But my man in the rag trade points out that la Miller signed an exclusive deal in November to be the "face and body" of Pepe jeans.
"Not only did Sienna do a racy photo-shoot on a beach in Malibu, she also agreed in writing not to wear rival products," I'm told. "Not surprisingly, Pepe now want her to explain what's going on."

Oops. Guess a fashion contract means that you can't even go out of your house wearing clothes that aren't sponsor-approved. It's not as big a sponsor faux pas as Jessica Simpson made, though. According to a new lawsuit against her, she named "True Religion" as her favorite brand of jeans when she was supposed to promote a line named after her creepy father's nickname for her, "Princy."

Lindsay Lohan is rumored to be in talks to play the anime action character Sailor Moon in an upcoming movie. It's a pretty weak rumor, but good enough for us to report:
The source goes on to say that they really hope Lohan doesn't get the part. She certainly hasn't shown her acting skills yet, although it can't be too hard to jump around in costume and play an cartoon character.

Lindsay Lohan is starring in the romantic comedy, "Just My Luck," which is due for release on May 12th. It's a good thing she has several other films in the can, because the plot is rather dumb and familiar, and "Just My Luck" won't do much to bolster her film career.
In related news that you may have heard already, Lohan really wants to get a fashion contract, and is hinting that Versace is interested in her. She was passed up by Chanel for being too young, and by Louis Vuitton for being too "American." Now she's meeting up with Donatella Versace, and has eagerly blabbed about it, saying that she's "going to spend time with Donatella on her boat," but that nothing is decided yet.
