Here are some new photos of Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone, wandering around New York City yesterday, looking loved up and happy. It doesn’t seem like either of them minded the presence of the paparazzi, and Andrew couldn’t help but kiss Emma at one point.
I can’t even begin to describe how much I love this coupling – Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield just make sense together, on screen and off-screen. Their careers are both going up – hers more than his, I feel, but maybe he’ll blow everyone away in The Amazing Spiderman. They’re two of the best and brightest of Young Hollywood. And neither of them are jagoffs or narcissistic monsters. Emma seems like a cool girl with her head on straight, and Andrew seems like a bit of a neurotic British boy, but there’s something dashing and sexy about him too. They just make sense. The tall, neurotic English boy and the American redhead with the droll sense of humor. I would watch that movie. Wait, that’s already a movie. Notting Hill!!!!
And yes, I LOVE Andrew’s coat. It’s looks like a woman’s coat from the 1970s, and he almost pulls it off. Like, this is something Mary Tyler Moore would have worn. Do you think Emma dresses him? Do you think she’s like, “Hey, I have this coat, but it’s a little bit too big for me, you should wear it! It’s vintage!” And Andrew is just like, “Whatever you want, my love”????
PS… I love the way he’s holding her hand – the way he’s pulled her hand so it’s against his chest. Sigh… I bet they have great sex.

i never buy the love stories with the on-screen couple becoming real-life couple but they look more credible than Gosling/Mendes

there always is some exceptions (Brangelina,Taylor/Burton,Lange/Shepard) but often it’s RP romance for movies:remember Shia Leboeuf/Carey Mulligan(they broke 2 weeks after the release of MONEY NEVER SLEEPS) or Pettyfer/Agron for example
I tend to believe that Carey and Shia were a real couple but he was showmancing and she didn’t know it (he dumped her).
But yer right Pettyfer/Agron were straight up PR bull. I think she couldn’t stand him at all but went along with it anyway(and the movie still tanked).
I think McGosling were real the first time but when they “got back together” it was for PR.
They are sweet together & so happy.

What a coincidence they have a film to promote in couple of months and the fanboys are not really convinced of the reboot, so they have to sell it to the women who also wet themselves over the Twilight showmance.
This looks like a set up P.R. stunt to be (not that they aren’t a real couple just the showing off). The kissing and holding the hand to the heart while cameras go off was laying it on a bit too thick children. Got to practice being famewhores a bit. Call up Blake Lively for lessons! Quick your movie is about to open.

I still think this is just a fauxmance — there are too many other shots of the two of them where he looks totally not into her at all. And they’ve started getting pap’d more regularly, and their movie is coming out in a few months … hmmm, that’s not suspicious or anything!

They are not very attractive couple
While there are showmances aplenty in this business, every once in a while, you also witness two people who met by the good fortune of a working together, and get it on following its wrap. These two are too cute for words. Young love! Sigh.
(If it is indeed a showmance, then give these 2 Academy Awards because it really doesn’t give that vibe).

Not buying this. As the movie’s release draws closer, the pap shots are getting more frequent. This is a massive movie and the stakes are high, no doubt the studio is urging them on to be more public and fuel the public’s appetite for the reboot. It’s funny how these two are getting a pass when so many other celebrities are called out for the exact same thing.
Yep – completely agree. There’s also that Blind Item out that is almost certainly about Emma and Sean Penn on the set of their new movie. Of course this is all speculation but it’s just sad that people resort to these antics.

Oh, wow! They came in to the bookstore I work at yesterday. Funny to see the paparazzi photos of the occasion after the fact. They were both very sweet. I think it must have been a bit later in the day, because they had a few more shopping bags, including one from Billy’s bakery.
I buy what they’re selling. It’s like the second coming of McGosling. More please.
Haha! Too true (2 good young actors, the world’s their oyster, seem good-natured)! I wonder what moniker would befit these new America’s Sweethearts. Stonefield? Garstone? Doesn’t roll off the tongue as easily as McGosling (I suspect it’s why some people still want these 2 back together … it’s a nickname for the ages).
I buy it, too, although all the cynical comments have me second guessing a little bit.

I think they are cute together but very fashion challenged -he is a disaster and her outfit is chaotic, not in a good way – flats with no socks in NY in January? Brrr! I don’t think it is a showmance though.

I don’t think this is a PR driven romance. Although, I’m sure they will be papped more and more as the movie’s release date gets closer. They are super cute, regardless. This is the opposite of the Gosling/Mendes charade. That makes me puke in my mouth a little bit.

I think Emma and Ryan Gosling would make a cute couple. I dont like Andrew for some reason. He was going out with Shannon Woodward from Raising Hope for a couple of years and after all the award shows were over he dumped her and got with Emma. If they are still together after Spiderman comes out I will be surprised.
They are so cute together. I don’t know if its real but it looks it and I sighed at the handholding against the chest. That always melts my heart. I doubt they’ll last, they are so young and in hollywood, but I could see breaking up amicably and remaining friends.

I think Ryan had a really big crush on her when they filmed Crazy Stupid Love, and he would have gotten together with her, but she was already taken. Now I think he’s just settling for Eva.
