My ideal guy is: black hair, blue, blue eyes and manly looking. This guy fits the criteria, but for some reason it’s all wrong with him….creeps me the hell out, and don’t find him attractive at all.

James McAvoy does NOT fit that description. He has medium brown hair,whatever color his eyes are they are not that piercing blue and he’s kind of short and totally not my type.
I’m not knocking him, he’s a great actor but he doesn’t have black hair nor is he “manly”.
I’m not sure I can come up with a manly actor as an example… actors and manly are kind of opposites.

I also love dark, dark hair and blue, blue eyes and I do think he has beautiful eyes (unlike Cillian{sp?}) but there is something off that doesn’t make me drool.

I am kind of fond of Ian Somerhalder, because he does a hell of a lot of charity work down in Louisiana. So he may be creepy, but he is a good person.

He is beautiful in a spooky kind of way and well suited for the character he plays on The Vampire Diaries. I think he has both the Cillian AND Rob thing going on. The pictures here do not flatter him at all. He is great as the twisted brother on the show and brings the sexy, the scary, the wit and the fun. Give him a chance and watch the show.

I’ve only watched the first season of the Vampie diaries. He is brilliant as the evil borther. Both male actors are, actually. I stopped watching because I got into another show, but maybe I’ll go back to it…

Ian’s attractiveness for me has always wavered and i think it because the first thing i ever saw him in was Rules of Attraction in which, he plays a total psycho.

so many people find him creepy but he is just right up my alley (in terms of what i find hot and what i have dated in the past) plus add in his love of animals, humanitarian choices and his splendid acting, and he is just one of my favorite actors around now! damon, boone, creepy rapist brother from L&O:SVU – i love them all!!!

Hey guys,
I am a work-a-day girl in Los Angeles and I work with celebs. I have known Ian since 2005 and he is the most amazingly nice guy you would ever want to meet. He loves his mama, and has a grounded family that you never hear about.
He does Hollywood when he has to but works hard to keep his head down. He is stunningly good looking in person. Not creepy at all. These pictures are weird. Look up his non-candid photos and you will drown in his eyes. In person you have to squeeze your eyes shut and shake your head to not go cross-eyed looking into them.
Once, he spontaneously spoke up to my boss when he was being a jerk with me. I can’t say enough nice things about him.

I think Ian Somerhalder is a really beautiful Man (on the inside aswell)…many people who met him are stunned by how good-looking he is!
I saw many gorgeous Pictures of him at the PaleyFest ( the panel was amazing) and the Varvatos Party etc! Sometimes a few pics don’t look that good, so what?? He’s only human and the photographers aren’t perfect either!
Just look at Paul Wesley! On Event Photos he always looks bad imo! His head is way too big and it just looks so plain weird in general!
Anyway what I’m saying is…Pictures can look weird sometimes( happens to all celebs)….if you (the ones who don’t find him attractive) never watched tvd, interviews or a Movie with him….do it! You’ll be positive supprised!
