Here are some new photos of Eva Mendes in Beverly Hills yesterday. According to the photo agency, she was spotted out and about, doing some shopping. As far as I can tell, Eva has been in LA since returning from Thailand several weeks ago. Eva was in Thailand for more than a month, keeping Ryan Gosling company as he filmed a movie – and perhaps keeping an eye on him so he didn’t get distracted by any pretty young things too. What’s interesting to me is that Ryan Gosling seemed to spend a lot of time in NYC after the Thailand film shoot ended. Ryan and Eva seemed to be taking a little break after spending so much time together in Thailand, and some people hoped the “break” would actually lead to an actual breakup.
But! Ryan was photographed in LA several days ago. Eva was spotted last week, stocking up on groceries, allegedly in preparation for Ryan’s return. So… officially, Ryan and Eva are still together. Meaning that there has been no breakup announcement, and Eva and her rep will issue statements combating any rumor that there’s trouble in paradise. This was your Gosling-Mendes FYI of the Day.
Also – should we talk about Eva’s outfit here? That sweater looks so dated! I think my mom had that sweater in 1986. Same buttons, same unflattering cut. I don’t really get Eva’s “look” in general though.

Weird how he dated more “A-list” women before his rise to the top and now that he’s a certified A-lister, he has decided to stick it in a C+/B-lister. Marie- I can’t speak for anyone else, but it’s not that I solely dislike Mendes because she is dating Gosling.. I have never liked her. I was once told I looked like her by some rando, and got REALLY offended because I find her quite unattractive with a bland personality (not to mention she’s a terrible actress with little to no range and plays the same “hot girlfriend” card OVER AND OVER… all whilst complaining about it). As for your first question, I loved Gosling and McAdams together… hence, why their relationship never bothered me.
Eva does not look like a woman able to take someone’s man away… and why would that be a quality to highlight anyway?! That’s silly. His level of fame has nothing to do with my dislike of Eva either. Any more questions?

I believe Lainey has a relationship with Gosling’s PR team now. Her last few ‘Exclusives,’ featuring detailed info about their relationshp and photos from Thailand taken by her friends at Vancouver’s PUNKD Images, made it too obvious. She has been trying to downplay it since, more or less blaming Gosling’s fans for reducing a serious actor to gossip fodder and ‘sexiest man’ bs, like he is a complete innocent in all of this. Whatever….
She rarely shows that kind of empathy or understanding towards young actresses. Certainly not Lively; any compliments are of the backhanded variety, or quickly followed up with a swipe or five. She will do a turnabout if she gets access. Notice her improved treament of Scarlett since the Avengers press junket. But in general, I find her attitude towards women to be stuck in the dark ages. I suppose that’s par for the course for a gossip columnist, but at least she could try to be a little more fair about it.

Well, the last story she did on these two, Lainey backhandedly implied that Eva is becoming a little too needy and insecure. She said Eva didn’t want him cheating with the other beautiful actresses in the film, so she was desperately clinging onto him the whole time.

I’ll begin saying that I know close to nothing about Eva Mendes, so I’m unaware of how much of a bitch she is (or might be). I’m also not defending her. I just want to put this relationship in perspective.
HE chose to be with her, HE took her to Disneyland knowing HE’D be photographed. He agreed — at least up to a certain point — with all those photo ops.
Let’s say you’re all right: she’s indeed a bitch. It doesn’t change the fact he was with her…willingly. That says something about HIM (to me) more than anything else.
The more I read about Ryan Gosling, the more he looks like a player. He’s probably not the wonderful, romantic, faithful guy he played in The Notebook.

A sane consumer recognises that at the end of the film/movie the actor/actress obligation is over.
All Mr Gosling has to do to meet his obligations by creating good/watchable movies and/or Art.

How many times has she done a nip slip on the red carpet or an TV. It’s so strange, all untalented actresses do that. I find it cheap and annoying esp. since on the other hand these girls complain all the time that they don’t get good roles in movies. I agree Ben, but you know what? I don’t think we’ll ever see that. I don’t even think they’re still together. He’s never bothered to confirm or deny it. It’s Eva who’s rushing to deny breakup news. If they have stopped dating, she’s not going to announce to the world that it’s over. She’ll milk it as long as she can. I actually don’t think he would walk a carpet with her, I think he’d be embarrassed to. He skipped the Golden Globes for a reason. He was supposed to go, backed out last minute and left early for Thailand by a couple days. He didn’t start shooting right away. 2 weeks ago almost every gossip magazin(German INTouch, German Life&Style, German Grazia…) reported the same thing: that the gosdong and evil mentos are over due to the lack of time they spent together – which is complete bs considering she followed him like a dog in thailand.
On the other hand there reports from the online magazine of a german gossip magazine called Gala:
1. Gala quotes InTouch that during the shot in Thailand they were playing husband and wife to see wether they really fit together(her playing housewife and doing everything for him)
2. Gala quotes Star magazine that Ryan´s and Eva´s Mums a) have met and of course everyone loved each other b) they want them to have kids asap.
I think they´re at least going to stay together til they finished promo for their movie. In Germany we have this saying “der wunsch ist der vater des gedanken” which means “the wish is the father of this thought”, so break-up rumors will continue to pop up because most of the people REALLY want them to be apart.
If they stay together it will prob turn into a biel/timberdouche scenario just crazier. She can´t come to every movie set (if she does he´ll prob lose interest/get annoyed and cut her) and he won´t be able to keep his thing in his pants, so she´s prob gonna look away until a certain point where she has a complete meltdown.

Ditto for this. My ex BF, a famous writer, attended her agents wedding. The agent was a dorm mate at Vassar with my BF. My BF had NO CLUE who she was because he never watches TV or movies. She stood near to him and was introduced to him, she actually LOOKED AWAY as she was introduced and wouldnt shake my BF hand. He naively thought she hadnt heard him say hello so he said hello louder and she continued to look away. My BF was very confused and baffled by her behavior. He didnt understand until I explained who she was to him. He simply couldnt get over how rude and obnoxious she was and he actually felt sorry for her that she felt the need to be so nasty and self obsessed at her bosses wedding.
Jude law , however, by comparison happily talked poetry for hours with my ex. he was charming and egaging and generous with his time and actually is amazingly well read. A total gentleman with amazing manners. She, on the otherhand, is a mannerless pathetic jerk who no one will remember in 20 years.
