Demi Moore & Ashton might get back together, Demi is “like a love-sick puppy”

After enjoying the sexual favors of several of the hottest 20-something women in the world, Ashton Kutcher might be going back to Demi Moore. Or so Radar and other media outlets would have you believe. Over the past year, Ashton has banged Rihanna, Mila Kunis, some screenwriter, and probably dozens of club girls and randoms. But will he always come back to Demi? Er… I don’t think so. I actually think this whole story sounds like Demi’s wishful thinking, and that makes me so, so sad.

Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher split last year following his very public cheating scandal and they’ve been separated for months but a new report is claiming that the Hollywood superstars may be headed for a shocking reconciliation.

They apparently were together this week at a birthday party for the man who officiated their wedding, and their reunion was an emotional one, with the couple “locked in a 60-second embrace,” at one point.

“They are still desperately in love and could be on for a reconciliation,” a source told the Sunday Mirror about Demi and Ashton. “The divorce isn’t being processed right now.”

Demi, 49, and Ashton, 34, were married for six years when he was caught cheating on their wedding anniversary, first reported by RadarOnline.com and Star magazine. But their recent reunion seems to have rekindled their feelings for each other.

According to the Sunday Mirror, Ashton gave a speech at Kabbalah Rabbi Yehuda Berg’s 40th birthday party and teared up when he said “I’ve made all these horrendous mistakes in the last year.”

A guest at the party said “Ashton’s voice started to break as he spoke. He just fell into tears. He sat down to a round of applause while Demi just looked frozen.”

Ashton, 34, reportedly arrived at the party at the Beverly Hills Hotel two hours before his ex and their interactions sparked the reconciliation buzz.

“Ashton was there quietly socializing and Demi showed up a couple of hours later looking amazing. She went over to wish Yehuda a happy birthday and Ashton was right by him. Yehuda left them to talk. They started to chat and were extremely affectionate. She was staring at him like a love-sick puppy,” a party guest told the Sunday Mirror.

They added details about the couple, saying that their actions insinuated that they were on the mend.

“They both sat at the front with a mutual friend between them. Demi got up to speak and spoke about family not necessarily being your blood but being people who love you. Then Ashton got up and he spoke about how amazing Yehuda was. He said that if Yehuda is your friend, he’ll love you unconditionally, no matter what mistakes you’ve made, before making the emotional admission that he had made mistakes. It was obvious he was referring to the break-up.”

Demi announced last year that she was separating from Ashton, and while she recently changed her Twitter name from MrsKutcher to JustDemi, neither party has yet to file for divorce.

[From Radar]

See? It sounds like Demi is the one who is like a “lovesick puppy” and Ashton is just trying to be nice to his wreck of an estranged wife. And yes, I know that’s an awful stereotype and some of you will start yelling at me, etc. But this conforms to the image I have of Demi, a Whip-It-using, plastic, delusional woman. While Ashton is trying to show her tenderness out of fear that she’ll have another breakdown, Demi reads his actions as “wanting to get back together.” And it’s not happening.

Oh Demi, no.. Run as far and fast as your little chicken legs will carry you. Ashton is loser, and if you go back and he cheats again (which he will) then it’s all on you for putting up with it..

tsk, tsk, Marie!!! Chicken legs!!! LMAO!

But I do agree with K’s assessment of the situation. Ashton had been married to Demi for 6 years, and they had dated for a couple more before getting hitched, so yeah, he must have been worried about her over-dosing. But kept his distance so-far (which I agree with) so not give her false hope, or even feed her obsessive behavior.

But this guy married too young. He had spent most of his twenties, settling down with an already-made family of three children, in a town where debauchery is not only rampant, but highly encouraged as well.

Like many young women before him, who had married much older men, Ashton suddenly wanted out. The way he went about it was just, very, extremely, sh-tty!

Agreed. He could have divorced her with dignity, knowing the culture they live in. Although, who knows? Maybe he tried that. Maybe he even suggested they could make it look like her idea, but she wouldn’t go for it. He’ll always be Kelso to me, but maybe there’s a decent side to him. Thing is, I feel like Demi got to be a sex symbol in the privileged days of natural beauty (St. Elmo’s Fire, etc.) – the era I grew up in – and she could still take her pick of numerous men that would gladly devote themselves to her, so if any of this article is true, I just don’t get it.

You both make good points.. I have never gotten Ashton’s appeal, and have always thought Demi could find someone more suitable. Ashton was way to young for a lasting commitment, and that huge of an age difference rarely works out for anyone..

I can’t stand Ashton but I am not even sure that he got out of it in a very shitty way. Sometimes shitty is the only way. Sometimes not even shitty works. He’s lucky Demi had a humiliation point. Now he needs to stay far, far away.

I am speaking of a non-famous couple I know. Not even cheating twice let the trapped party escape. The trapped party owed the other party money and they would not let go.

I personally would prefer to be sued but my credit isn’t as shot as this persons. There is no age gap here, they met in college – one party came from money the other came from a blue collar family.

@zen.. That is a crappy situation to be in, I’ve never understood why anyone would want to be with someone who clearly does not want to be with them. It’s not healthy and I’m sure neither one of them could be all that happy.

@Marie – My guess would be ego, & the need to ‘control’.

A spouse saying they’re leaving you when you don’t agree with them has to be incredibly frustrating & painful. You’d find yourself with no control over the situation whatsoever, which (depending on the personality) can lead to desperation to regain it.

Then there’s those who want to get revenge, & go on a power trip to make everything very unpleasant for the other party…Which makes them feel like they’re in control, & ‘winning’ in some messed up way, contributing to their ego.

Then of course, there are those who are just deluded, refusing to accept reality.

Ladies, sometimes it is nothing but an egotistical sense of entitlement and possessiveness.

Not even the fear of being left alone would push anyone to act like this, but a self-entitled bully who thinks they own their partner.

This is so cool. I never get in on the comments this early. Anyway, I don’t have strong feelings about either of these two, but I am a pretty outspoken feminist and I don’t have any objection to pointing out when a woman doesn’t treat herself with respect (i.e. Demi). I really also don’t get why at this point she wouldn’t want a more, er, mature man who just adores her.

Ashton does nothing for me, but I like that shirt in the last pic. My SO has one just like it.

I truly don’t know why he married Demi, but I think it’s hard for anyone to get married young and realize later they haven’t fully enjoyed their irresponsible youth. No defending his Asshat behavior, but Demi got to enjoy her 20s, for several decades even, so you think she’d understand and let this one go.

You are on target with this comment. I just don’t understand why she doesn’t just let it go. I totally agree about Ashton not getting to fully enjoy his youth. I tend to be wary of those who marry so young in Hollywood. I don’t want to assume a couple with their age difference can’t make it work because my mom is over 15 years older than my dad. Dad was 22 when they married and they are still together 30+ years later.

This subject makes me think of my grandparents, who are 10yrs apart. They made it work, but they both also came from super religious families, & come from the backwoods in AL.

Ashton is, & will always be, a douche-bag. No appeal to me whatsoever, even before all this cheating mess. But he was too young to take on a pre-made family, though he appeared to do pretty well. Someone closer to his age would likely have more in common.

Should have the chance to raise a child of his own w/o the weight of all that). He didn’t go about it the right way, but he needed to get out.

You know, when Demi and Bruce split it was so obvious that Bruce wasn’t the one who wanted things to end. And I always had the impression that Bruce would have gotten back together with her in a heart beat.

I wish I could feel sorry for Demi … but I just can’t bring myself to do so. I hope she recovers from this without too much emotional (or physical) damage. And I, too, hope she finds love in the future with someone closer to her own age–or better suited for her–which ever comes first.

I understand Demi’s position, because I felt that way about my first ex. I hope for Demi’s sake that she is cautious and careful and doesn’t allow him to take advantage of her. He may break her heart again, and she really doesn’t need that right now. If Ashton wants to see her, they should try being just friends for now. Demi needs to spend some time as a single woman.

Demi shows up 2 hours later looking AMAZING. sounds like someone where Ashton is concerned still needs to whip it. I’m pretty sure she wasn’t primping for all that time for Rabbii Yehuda.
Ashton in his speechy fell into tears & sat down to a round of applause-it’s a birthday party & it’s not yours.
I think it’s pretty shallow of either of them to attend someone’s birthday party & somehow make it about them.
I just crossed Demi & Ashton off my birthday party list.

It is unfortunate whenever a relationship ends with one person wanting to stay together while the other wants to separate. But, that is life. You can’t force someone to be w/you. In fact, begging someone to be w/you is just putting yourself in a position to be emotional/mentality abused and taken advantage of. Let it go and move on b/c life will continue with or without you.
