For my money, Kate Hudson has been looking the best she’s ever looked. Remember how her styling was kind of trashy when she was dating A-Rod several years ago? And remember how she seemed to be following the Kate Moss/Sienna Miller boho vibe for a long time? Well, I think she’s finally playing it straight, style-wise. It’s debatable whether or not Kate Hudson is a movie star, but it helps that she’s finally beginning to dress like one full-time. These are photos of Kate at the Toronto International Film Festival last night. She was attending the TIFF premiere of The Reluctant Fundamentalist, the same film Kate was promoting last week in Venice. Kate’s gown is Alexander McQueen – it’s kind of overkill for TIFF, I think. But she still looks amazing, the gown is gorgeous, and she looks flawless overall. Her body is incredible too. Damn.
Here’s Gwyneth Paltrow at last night’s TIFF premiere of Thanks For Sharing. Goop wore Tom Ford – it’s a really great LBD, isn’t it? I’m not a huge fan of black satin for gowns and cocktail dresses, but the dress has an excellent cut, and it’s very flattering on Goop’s figure. Her makeup is pretty meh, and I’m SO tired of the flat-ironed hair. But this is still a really good look for her. My one complaint: I think those shoes are really trashy and Real Housewife-ish, AND she already wore them to the Stand Up To Cancer event.

of course kate’s body looks amazing — but so does her face! i never remember her looking this good… is she doing 6 hours of daily facial exercises as well?

Definitely botoxing, probably some fillers. She had her nose done early on, and I believe she got small implants recently (or she has started to wear a bra.) She still looks more like her father than Goldie to me.
Dress is ok. She looks good in white, but I liked last week’s white pantsuit better.

Definite tweaks happening, especially the eyes, skin & lips. In the second pic she looks like a busted Cate Blanchett too me, but she does look “pretty” (and less cutesy).
GP is starting to look…fried. Like she’s flat ironed her face too much as well.

KH definitely looks like she’s been doing “something” to her face. She looks so different – like someone else, all angular and everything. She looks OK but it just looks obvious that she’s had work done.

My first reaction was that she had been crying a lot or hadn’t gotten nearly enough sleep (with a new baby, two very likely scenarios). So she caked on the under-eye concealer, but still can’t hide the puffiness and so it all makes her eyes look smaller. Don’t know about the rest of the stuff, though.

IMHO, women over 35ish should never wear flat-ironed hair. No matter how well-preserved a woman is, it doesn’t end up looking sleek, it just looks too harsh and unnecessarily aging.
Of course, having straight hair myself, I’ve never understood why people would go deliberately out of their way to make it that straight anyway….

Is Kate messing with her face now? It used to look pretty but a little like a humpty-dumpty; like it broke to pieces and someone glued it back together and some pieces did not fit anymore. There was always something so off about it, like it was freaking melting.
Now suddenly the face started looking like a mature woman’s with good bone structure (which could never be said before). It got taut, and classier, and definitely better than ever.
I’m convinced she’s shot it full of Botox and expecially FILLERS the moment she stopped breastfeeding.
Actually, her face has the same stiffness, same wax figure/latex makeup look as Eva Mendes’s. I think they are sharing a plastic surgeon. Oh, and I suspect a subtle nose job, too, and upper eyelid/brow lift.

hahahhaa…her eyes… they are small and squinty naturally! I was floored when she became the model for Almay. They would cake on tons of eye make up and I swear, her eyes would totally disappear. Kate has clearly had some procedures. She’s aging in reverse. I just saw a bit of that awful movie with her and Anne Hathaway. It was made a few years ago, and she looks much younger now. Her face has definitely been “rejuvenated”.

Emily Blunt is a good guess too — She’s no stranger to plastic surgery. She’s definitely had her nose and her lips augmented so I could see her doing something more intense. Just wondering why the phrase “try hard” implies something negative. IMO “try hard” means trying too hard i.e. to be someone you are not (but you want everyone to THINK you are). I not a huge fan of Kate Hudson but like her in some stuff. She nails the Hollywood glamor look when she wants to (i.e. on the red carpet) and her outfit nails it here too. But her face (face lift?) is freaking me out. It may look good but it sure doesn’t look like her!

Kate Hudson is one of the classic beauties. She is beautiful here and in whatever she wears. She has this inner beauty that shows in her sparkling eyes and real, no holds barred laugh. She is so vivacious! Why the heck does anyone give Gwenyth Paltrow any attenttion. She is stick skinny. If she turned sideways and stuck her tongue out, she’d look like a zipper! She has never been even believable or good in any of her roles – no talent! Where are her kids? She is always inserting herself into publicity and her kids seem to be a bother.
