Jennifer Aniston’s attitude about the ups and downs of life, and the manner in which she deals with much of it is to be admired. I love her tongue-in-cheek (over some heads) comment about Zahara and Knox, and her sence of humor is grand. People just need to lighten up, give up on the Bermuda Triangle hook, and recognize each person as they truly are. Most of us will never have an opportunity to get to know any of them personally, so why all the hate for any of them? Good, Bad, or Ugly decisions will only effect them, not us. Oh! Yes, what a body! Must have to do with being Greek, like the famous fem fatale’ Helen of Troy….

Jennifer is an amazing woman. Highly successful in many ways, humanitarian in a quiet non gratuituous manner, and a woman lots of us would like to hang out with and do girly stuff. I fail to understand how anyone who is totally honest with themselves can call her a failure in any area. So her husband cheated on her, and lied to her about it. She divorced him…done! She’s moved on, and has created another production company after turning over to Brad her portion of Plan B production company. She’s designed her new home, she has always come to the aid of charitable causes involving children without requiring photo ops for doing so….she’s real, and a real woman. Glad to see her so confidant.

Just my opinion, but I think the difference between someone like Halle Berry and Jennifer Aniston posing semi-nude is that Berry is a wonderful, Oscar-winning actress whose talent and strength make her sexy. Aniston, on the other hand, is a mediocre, fluffy-rom-com actor who comes across as a desperate-for-attention starlet in these photos. I don’t hate the woman, but she strikes me as shallow and self-absorbed. If she really wants people to take her seriously and talk about her career instead of her personal life, then these pics do nothing for her.

Even though I admire Aniston’s body (but not the time, vapidity and lack of concern for anything beyond herself it took to get that body), I find the whole GQ photo shoot rather ugly. Was the photographer like, “Okay, spread your legs! Wider! Now push your hair in front of your face! Now jut out your chin! Whoops. Don’t do that. Okay, look smug! Whoops…”

I’m really bothered by the top picture because – oh god, it is embarrassing me to say this, and I never get embarrassed. It looks to me like the crotch of the panties is wet. Like they sprayed it just a little with mist. If that is true, then this is practically p0rn and totally unbefitting to someone who at 40 still seems like a girl, with her girlish wardrobe, hair, and attitudes. Granger and Anne are totally on the mark here.

Samantha, Angelina was nursing her infant child, you could see the top of her breast, and the picture was taken by the child’s father . Maniston is just trying to look hot, she’s incapable of it, and the photographer is a stranger. There is a difference.

the difference between Angelina’s boob photo and this is that Angelina looks sexy and natural even when she’s not trying (like when nursing her child). I don’t hate Jen, I wish her well but she shouldn’t try so hard to come across as sexy. As the girl next door, wholesome etc. (and boring) she’ll have her own bunch of fans, but she looks stiff and unnatural posed half nude. Unfortunately, she is too insecure to look sexy.

The strange thing is I have TRIED to like Aniston. I just can’t get past the sense that there is something fundamentally whiney about her. She just strikes me–always has, before, during and after her marriage–as a discontented, shallow, bland, uninteresting person. There is no pizzaz to her. No “aliveness” about her. She is one of the few celebs who could make half-naked pictures of herself seem boring.
I absolutely admit I don’t know her and am judging purely on pictures and blogs and interviews, so I could be wrong. I hope, for her sake, I am!

Czarina, I think you’re spot on. I’ve always thought Aniston must be the world’s most boring dinner date. What could you talk to her about? Imagine if you had to live with someone like that. While Brad Pitt was married to Aniston he looked like a Ken doll with all the life sucked out of it. I don’t think Aniston’s fans saw any of it. All they could see was how cute they looked standing next to each other, all blond and blue-eyed.
One thing I noticed about Angie immediately is that she is extremely intelligent. Since she’s been with Brad, he looks like he woke up out of a five-year coma. He must have found her a welcome relief from living with an animated Barbie doll with vacuum between the ears. I get the feeling that if you ever asked Aniston her opinion on the Darfur crisis, she’d say “What’s that?” Whereas Angie has actually been there and can discuss it at length.
Maybe I’m being unfair to Aniston, but I get a feeling from her that she simply isn’t very bright.

I wouldn’t say her body is sick. I just don’t see why she feels she has to flash it to all and sundry. Maybe she is saying, “Look at me, everybody, I’m hitting the big 4-0 and I still have a great body!” (Subtext here: “Better than Angelina’s!”) But a 40 year old woman who goes to such lengths to show off her body is a woman who has nothing else going for her. And that is going to be her downfall. What is she going to do in a few years when everything starts going south on her? She’s going to become fixated on her body to the exclusion of everything else that makes an older woman fascinating: intelligence, conversation, experience, knowledgeability, interest in the world, etc. And a woman with nothing interesting under the surface is a crashing bore.
An older woman’s charm is the total package. Angelina will age well; she’s got a wide range of interests to keep her vibrant and involved when her looks fade. Once Aniston starts losing her looks, she won’t have anything else to fall back on, and all the lipo in the world won’t help her.

Lets face it…Here is mentally fragile celebrity with plastic tits, only one half decent movie under her belt since being on Friends, who has reached a crossroads in her life. She has suddenly realized that Brad, Vince or anyone else choose not to love her and her plastic tits and she just can’t get over it!
Yes she has a lovely face, but with her inner turmoil of reaching the big 40, with a waning career, she has to resort to a few titilating photos in an attempt to address her abondomnent issues. This combined with the fact her only “Real Job” now is in sustaining her Celebrity status.
I feel very sorry for her, after all who wants to make love to a plastic woman. I just hope she can adjust to her sadness by enjoying the millions she has made while accepting the rejection shown from all of her lovers.

Just calling it like I see it. I know a publicity stunt when I see it. The whole Mayer thing, “nude” pictorial, interviews ect. This woman hides from the press and avoids having her face photographed and all of a sudden when you have a movie to pimp out you are all over the place talking bout your ex husband and appearing naked on magazines?
Smells desparate to me! BTW, I loved Marley and Me as a book, and its looks like the ruined it for me with this movie.

The cover photo (not shown here) was definitely the best shot of the group. Spread-eagle legs are never sexy, but Jennifer looks good anyway–you can tell she does yoga. Madonna in a similar pose looked gross. It did strike as out-of-character for Jennifer, I think of her as being more ladylike than that.
I’m tired of the comparisons between Jennifer and Angelina. Some people like Jen, some people like Angelina, and never the twain will meet. We’re never going to agree, so can’t we just let go of it?

what a double standard… if this is desperate then it’s no more so than what brad pitt was doing for his movie. he admittedly (on oprah) said that the photo shoot of angie and the kids, including the breastfeeding ones of the twins, were shoot as a promotion for his movie coming out at the expense of his kids. and let’s all face it, brad isn’t what he used to be. even he knows that angelina jolie will bring in bigger publicity than he by himself will.
so many of you think that what ja is doing is desperate but it’s called publicity. they all do it in one way or another. i happen to think that ja’s shoot is amzing, and features herself and no one lese, and while many of you will admit it or not, she dones’t look all that different in these shots then she does in everyday pap pictures. maybe the lighting is just a bit better.

Jennifer has stated that she was not trying to “make a statement” by posing for photos such as these…again. In fact the sexiest one of her is about 8, 9 years old. She’s in a sheer black, long scarf standing under a waterfall with the material clinging to her killer bod. This isn’t new to her. It’s great when a woman today has the freedom to pose as she wishes , and not be criticized by her fellow women for being “porn”…lol.
