Excuse the double post & poor grammer, long week. Kate Moss is a great model & has been around for 25 years. Let her work stand for itself. Stop judging *I say as I post on my favorite gossip site*

    • Vesper Lynd says:

      She looks kinda stoned here…

      • deehunny says:

she does look kinda stoned in the gold dress. I rarely like animal print but I happen to think the animal print dress on the bottom is FIERCE

      • YEP_ITS_HER says:

She always does in recent times. It’s her thing.

The story about the poor Irish woman who was denied an abortion … there are no words.
I find it absolutely disgusting that a medical professional would respond with ‘It’s a Catholic country’.
I think you’re more than entitled to your own opinion, but when you are charged with looking after other people’s well being, you do what is best for the patient.
    And now she’s dead.
Excuse me while I go throw something at a wall.

    • Mimi says:

My sentiments exactly. And then there’s this:

      http://jezebel.com/5960663/irish-doctors-used-to-break-womens-pelvises-so-they-wouldnt-miscarry

      Word. Cannot. Express. :*(

      • Amelia says:

        I am quite literally speechless.
I just watched the video and I am all but lost for words.
It truly makes you wonder how on earth can such depravity exist in this world? That’s just … barbaric. Cruel. Disgusting. Horrific. I could go on, I could crack out the bloody Thesaurus but there is not one word in the English language that could appropriately describe my feelings after watching that video.
I feel so, so truly lucky to live in the UK in 2012. Coincidentally enough, I just got onto the Microgynon pill today and I was worrying about the side effects. Now I’m just honestly glad to have a decent form of birth control.

      • Kimbob says:

Oh good Gawd, horror of HORRORS! Just watched the video myself…..& read some of the Jezebel comments…I feel as they do.

I must admit, I’d never heard of this. It makes me take great comfort I no longer practice Catholicism. I had fundamental questions about their basic practices, which I found nonsensical, to say the least. I decided to LEAVE!

Sometimes all one needs is a gut feeling to lead them in a better direction. Now I know the rest of the story.

  3. Incredulous says:

Hello, I am from Ireland. As the saying goes, the dogs in the street knew that the death of Savita Hanappanavar was preventable. We have been waiting 20 YEARS for legislation to be put in place. We have voted on this as a nation more than once.

Our politicians lack the spine (not just over this either, sadly) or, like the guy in charge, do not want to bring in the legislation despite it being part of his job.

The last time someone tried to bring in the legislation in April – needed desperately to clarify what would and would not constitute a legal abortion in Ireland – only twenty elected people voted for and over one hundred against.

Now we get to watch as these same pusillanimous people try to squirm away from bringing in that legislation or even refer to it whatsoever.

A woman died because of cowardice. Every year women go to Britain to get abortions and then hide it, effectively denying them the proper after care.

This is the country I live in and I am ashamed.

And very, very angry. I am not alone.

    • Mimi says:

I’m so sorry, Incredulous. Hugs from across the pond.

      • Incredulous says:

Thank you. Honestly, your hugs are needed far more elsewhere. Praveen Halappanavar (mis-spelled earlier due to rage and cannot change) has just had the family he helped build destroyed, due to a stupid, stupid reason.

The reason his wife died is that the legislation, as stands to date in Ireland, comes from 1861.

According to wikipedia, this is what was happening, historically, in 1861:

        http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1861

        This is a repugnant failure.

At best, the Irish people are going to have to drag our government, kicking and screaming, to do the right thing and update a law from 1861.

I cannot express my feelings understandably that this is a thing we actually have to do.

    • fabgrrl says:

I think this will definitely make something happen. So sad that it had to come to this, but this is really the perfect case – and adult, married, professional woman, with a planned pregnancy, dying for such a stupid, stupid law. Let the mother die for an nonviable fetus? If she had lived, she might have decided to try again and had children! Wouldn’t *that* be more in keeping with “Catholic” sentiment?

      • gobo says:

Sadly, I do not think it will necessarily bring about the much needed legislation. Previously the X case and C case were also massively demonstrated over and no legislation was introduced (I too live in Ireland) then either. I really cannot stress how much our politicians HATE talking about abortion and the lengths they will go to wriggle out of it. Todays demonstration in our capital: http://sphotos-f.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-prn1/30979_10151170323606158_1001872463_n.jpg and the stance of our taoiseach (like a prime minister) on introducing legislation: http://politico.ie/component/content/article/4098.html scroll towards the bottom.

      • Miffy says:

I’m Irish and I can’t say that this will change anything. Google ‘Case X’ in Ireland, following this Irish politicians amazingly still insist on dragging their feet and hide behind Catholic ethos to do so.
It’s humiliating. The Indian Ambassador openly discussed Ireland’s sub-par medical care (let that one sink in for a moment), while our Taoiseach (prime minister) insisted he would ‘not be rushed’ into making a decision on this legislation.
Disgusting, embarassing, as if being Europe’s reject little cousin following the bailout wasn’t humiliating enough.

      • Miffy says:

Totally cross posted! By about three hours… okay, I was mad and not reading properly 😀

    • Suki says:

      No, you are not alone.

  4. Pollo says:

I am so NOT giving that heroin addict bitch any of my money. I can’t believe that no one has ever shone a light on the fact that this addict has a daughter who is exposed to her mothers drunk/high antics on a daily basis. All because she’s “Kate Moss”.

    • jinni says:

I remember reading somewhere that Lila is mostly raised by her maternal grandmother. So, she probably isn’t that exposed to Kate’s way.

    • Trillion says:

What makes you believe she’s a heroin addict? So what if she’s done cocaine and drinks champagne? Guess what. A ton of us have and still do on occasion. And we’re great parents and decent human beings. Wrap your brain around that.

  5. Happy21 says:

Megan Fox and her post-baby face look a lot like her face in Transformers. Looks like she’s eased up on the lip injections for certain. She’s still very pretty so hopefully by having a baby she turned a corner and realized she didn’t need all that crap in her face!

  6. Sophia says:

haha Teresa guidice is dilusional..did she really think that she could hang out with “MADONNA” backstage! i bet you guys that M doesn’t even know whatBravo is or the real housewives series, she doesn’t have time for tv.

  7. Eleonor says:

The gold dress is awful, even on Kate, and she looks like a mess, as always.

  8. Nina says:

    Kate’s looking a little tweaked these days…

  9. Andrea says:

I think you guys need to write or at least link to the article on dlisted or the smoking gun about the dude who accused Kevin Clash. Interesting. From the smoking gun.

  10. DB says:

    Did she EVER look attractive?

Can’t tell by looking at her now…

  11. moo says:

I have never, and never will, understand the “allure” of Kate Moss. I don’t understand any of the KK models…. then and now. Go ahead and call them “unique”, but it’s just UGLY as far as I am concerned!

  12. BengalCat2000 says:

Hope it makes you feel good to project such negativity about a person you’ve never even met. She went rehab, got her shit together & married one of the best muscians of my generation. Just b/c she’s not your cup of tea doesn’t mean you have to be so obtuse. I guess you refuse to appreciate any celebrity based on what you hear about his/her personal life? Because if you do, you’re missing out on a lot of quality entertainment. KM has been around so long for a reason, she’s a diverse model & she keeps her mouth shut! SMDH..

  13. skuddles says:

I can’t stand her shiny gold dress, looks very budget and just plain tacky. And what is going on with the bulging mid-section design?

  14. dcypher1 says:

Viva le moss. She looks fab as always. I like both looks.

  15. Angel says:

She looks like Pam Anderson in that second pic. Ugh.

  16. Kosmos says:

I like Kate Moss, don’t see anything wrong with her, but she is a wild child of sorts and lives her life to the fullest…but she can afford to do that. As a top model, she’s had incredible experiences and has traveled the world and met so many amazing people. I think we would have done it, too, if we had the chance, just sayin !

  17. Pandy says:

Not feeling the animal print but love the gold dress!

  18. lrm says:

she was def. beautiful, ethereal looking, when younger….and people do not seem to realize that ‘models’ in the high fashion world, are not meant to be ‘conventially beautiful’….rather, they photograph well or wear clothing and pose well-
i think an ‘interesting’ look is preferable, and that that can be beautiful.
But, ppl seem to wonder why these models don’t look like some conventional standard of beauty-which, btw, i cannot even conjure up: what IS beautiful, in this context? seriously….elle McP., christy brinkley, cindy crawford-they are all gorgeous, perhaps more conventially so than K Moss-but Kate’s look is her own and absolutely has an allure to it.
And, I’ve only seen her mainly on this blog-lol! all of these years, so…..

That said, I don’t think she looks great in these pics-her face looks off and plastic like….
but she normally does have great style!

It’s actually a bit fascinating-how long she’s lived this party high life, and how she maintains it and still looks attractive at all.
I mean, look at many o fthe decades long partying musicians-by her age, they were pretty tired looking. she’s not doing half bad.
There’s no way I would be able to live her lifestyle for even 10 years, let alone almost 30!
No, nothing to be proud of on her part; I just think this is part of what makes her interesting to people.
