I still kinda like Ashton, aside form the whole Demi Moore mess. I think he could do well in this, provided his voice gets more Jobs-y in the rest of the film.
Damon and Kimmel… funny. Not laugh-out-loud funny, though.
And Nicole Richie; looks sad and tired, to me. Persistent rumours say both her and Madden are cheating/cheated and are having huge fights (the last of which led to her staying at the hotel with the kids while hubby was elsewhere).

No, the jOBS movie doesn’t look too shabby. I doubt it will earn Ashton an Oscar but it looks like it might be really well done and that is really, truly trying to act.

I think Miranda Lambert’s problem is that she wants to wear certain things so she does, not thinking that they don’t suit her body type. She’s the same body type as me and I went through that too. Oh I want to wear the 50′s housewife cutesy dresses, etc. Oh yes but they don’t look good! She needs to dress in what looks good for her body, not just what she wants to wear. There is a difference.
Nicole Richie has looked different for the last while in my opinion. Her eyes look dark and tired, she looks like she has big, black circles under them and her nose looks off to me. Not too sure if it’s just because she is tired and worn out but she for sure does look different or ‘off’ these days.

So this is my view: Many who abhor the corporate greed within America, still have to stomach films that glorify CEOs i.e. Steve Jobs et al who have no morals. Jobs structured Apple to be the company it is, it pays its workers little and offers no discounts to staff on the lowest rung, it’s also a company that went round threatening lawsuits (Jobs) to everyone that dared to be innovative or competitive enough to do anything. So the contradiction is that Apple defies the very enterprising morals of the American capitalist philosophy (innovation, competition, etc) while seeking pure capitalistic rewards.
It’s so psychopathic.
