Yay! I love it when women wear sleek pantsuits or jumpsuits to awards shows. Wearing pants is always acceptable in my book! Beyonce appeared at last night’s Grammys, and it was as if she was saying to the world, “I will allow this one night to not just be about me.” Like, she made the conscious choice not to dominate the Grammys. And we should be thankful. Beyonce wore this Osman Yousefzada jumpsuit which looks great on her, and hugs her every curve. Her booty really is amazing. Like… I have no words. Her booty is a work of art. I liked low-key Beyonce so much!
Ashanti is still a thing? Debatable. She wore this Tony Ward Couture which is… not bad. I don’t hate it at all.
Kelly Rowland in Georges Chakra – ugh! Kelly is better than this. We don’t need to see shadowy biscuit. But I will say this – her body is killer! Hate the dress though.
Is it just me or does Solange look amazing in this Ralph & Russo Couture gown? Great color, great body, great hair. One of my favorite looks ever from Solange.

Beyonce looks Fabulous!! I just hate the Blonde hair.. She looks so much better with darker hair. In my opinion, Solange always had a better style and body than Beyonce or a better body to pull off certain outfits. Beyonce just has a better looking face. But, Beyonce has been stepping it up recently because I normally hate what she wears. It’s always too much. ( Wrong weave/or front lace wig for the outfit, Too Much Jewelry, Too Tight dresses, Wrong Shoes)
But she got it right at the Grammy’s..

I totally agree with you. Solange has really been cutting her own path lately. She has a unique look and knows how to work it. The natural look suits her. Amazing color on her. Bey looks meh. Not coming from a hating place but she is truly overexposed and has been for some time now. The jumpsuit is a’ight. As we say in BK.

Contrary to what seems to be the popular opinion these days, I don’t see why we would ‘need a break from beyoncé’- I like her a lot. She’s a gorgeous, hard-working woman and this outfit is just pure class. Maybe it’s different for people living outside of the US- I haven’t seen the superbowl nor the presidential inaguration.
And what’s with the comment of her making ‘the conscious choice not to dominate the Grammys’? She didn’t because she wasn’t one of the big winners. It’s not like she planned that.

I’m tired of her ego (“i am so powerful” stuff got grating fast) and her music really isn’t all that remarkable. Beautiful voice, but i think it’s wasted on the sort of music she puts out. The Superbowl show really didn’t wow me either. She’s overrated.

Me too. I think she is very beautiful and a talented singer, but her music is pretty standard and she isn’t particularly interesting or intelligent. I am a little sick of her being everywhere lately. In some ways, I wish Solange were the more famous one, if only for her natural hair and more interesting fashion choices.

I dislike Bey’s posing and hate the hair. The jumpsuit is absolutely beautiful from the front but I find that jumpsuits don’t work the best on ladies with an ass like Bey’s, as seen from the side. It makes her look a bit diapery, like she’s wearing a onesie.
Solange looks gorgeous, my only quip is that I would cut off the little cap sleeves. But just stunning.

A new nose would mean recently which she did not. The pics from her Superbowl performance when she was pulling funny faces and snarling while she was dancing made her nose look a little weird. She did have one like 13 years ago.

This rumor drives me nuts. Do you guys not know any men who go on vacations together? Or women, for that matter? Believe it or not, just because dudes go on trips together it doesn’t mean that they’re gay. I have two brothers-in-law that we joke should’ve married each other because they seem to enjoy spending time with each other more than their wives (who are sisters). We call them ‘hetero life mates.’ They’re 40 yrs old and still have sleepovers. She has the most overrated ass EVER.
She is definitely bottom heavy, always had thick thighs and wide hips, however her butt as evidenced in many pictures is very flat, she usually wears butt pads to hid it, and she is really going overboard here with the spanx/butt pad.
A wide butt/being bottom heavy doesn’t mean a big butt!

I am so obsessed with Solange! I think she has the best personal style of anyone out there. Beyonce’s outfit is a welcome departure from her usual gaudy, beauty pageant get up that her mom squeezes her into. I do prefer pan t suits on women with slighted frames, but I will her credit for making the effort to wear something that isn’t tight, gold, with a waterfall weave.
Solange has always had a superior a aesthetic sense compared to her sister. One of the positive consequences of their father’s obsessive preoccupation with Bey, is that Solange was put into the position of developing her identity and self-expression independently. She has a lot more freedom because she doesn’t have to spend her career being Black Barbie.

Agreed about Solange. She was pretty much left alone and got to develop her own sensibilities and to do what makes her happy. She has talked before about how when she was a back-up dancer for Bey that she realized the fishbowl her sis lives in and that she wanted nothing to do with that kind of career and lifestyle.
I respect so much that she left a major label and decided to go the indie route. She has no pressure and no label interference so she can be her own quirky self.

I think Solange was just born in the wrong time to the wrong family. She has such a unique style. All her own. Beyonce really can’t touch her in the dressing department. Solange thinks outside the box. She unfortunately won’t make it in music. She should do fashion. Create her own line. I could so see young women flocking to buy her cloths.
