Who doesn’t love a piglet? Holly looks really good – doesn’t she? I hesitate to use “natural” when referring to her but comparatively, she is looking more natural in these shots.

True fact: I had a friend who is a veterinarian once tell me that “the cutest things in the universe” are baby pigs.
She said that they were so cute, all pink and wriggly with their tiny little hooves and their tiny little snouts, it was unbelievable.

No it isn’t. Not necessarily comfy for the mom, but babies like to snuggle between breasts and listen to mom’s heart. You just do what it takes to keep baby happy and sleeping.
what fabgrrl said! My (almost) 1 year old STILL burrows into my breasts when I carry her. The smell of the milk and the mommy, it’s very intoxicating and comforting for baby.
Her top hand is really strange in this hold…It looks very awkward. Why not cup the baby’s head and back? That’s what I always did during my years of nannying…It’s more supportive and feels more natural.
I totally agree…looks like she doesn’t know how to hold her properly. Poor baby….it looks a bit uncomfortable.

I think kids ought to have an “adult” name to fall back on just in case they decide to be president or a neurosurgeon. You can call the kid anything you’d like as a fun nickname, but why take away the kid’s ability to use a more formal name that doesn’t sound like their parent’s named them after the family pet? Parents should think about the kid’s future and not just what they think sounds cute as a baby name.
Agreed. I think the Supreme Court Justice test should be applied more often when people are naming children.
If I ever have a daughter, I will name her Lilith as a feminist statement. I also like the idea of Jezebel as a name, but Lilith is more powerful.
