I like this style, and it represents her better, I think.

Also, I’m so happy they’re doing a Red2, I’ll surely go see it.

Final note, last night’s episode of The Good Wife was good and surprising and I had totally forgotten that it was the season finale, so I am BUMMED that I have to wait until next year to know what happens next! Ugh. Any news about future guest stars?

    • JenD says:

I LOVED last night’s Good Wife. The very last scene was a shocker.

      • Silk Spectre says:

It was amazing! I was quite happy with the last scene, because I had been rooting for Alicia to make the decision she made regarding that issue. /vague to avoid spoiling anyone. Hopefully that’ll give the show some new life, exploring something different.

  2. MsAubra says:

I LOVE it! I think I would have rocked a different kind of shoe, but its cute!!

  3. Eve says:

It’s like she jumped out of a Duran Duran’s video (circa 1982)!

    • Marty says:

It would have looked better with jeans.

    • Reece says:

      haha Yep that’s it.

    • gogoGorilla says:

      +1

The jazz shoes and the fringe bag just push it into costume territory, I think.

      • Jess says:

I agree. I think she looks awfully unsure of herself too, like it isn’t something she would normally where but someone said “oh trust me, it’s fabulous!”

    • Kasia says:

Yep…too much of everything. As Coco Chanel once said, before you leave the house, take a glance at yourself and leave one of the accessories at home. JLaw should leave at least 2 or 3 accessories at home. That being said, I think she should learn how to style herself, and we shouldn’t be too hard on her. She will find her own style, hopefully.

      • Sammy077 says:

I was going to say the same thing. Separately these are good items and could have made 2 or 3 more great outfits. But put together, Jennifer looks sloppy and didn’t know what she was doing.

  4. Elisabeth says:

I have a mad girl crush on her

  5. Lia says:

I like it…. It seems to fit her personality not everyone wants to copy what they see in magazines

  6. marie says:

I look at her and all I can think is “Girl, your feet are gonna stink later”

of course the Jets cut Tebow, they drafted 2 new QBs this weekend. so, they don’t really need Tebow riding the pine, that job’s for Sanchez.

  7. A says:

Oh, how I envy her life. She really has it all now, doesn’t she? -sigh-

  8. Leigh_S says:

Love, Love, LOVE Helen Mirren as an ‘action hero’, even more than Angelina Jolie. She is just utterly cool in this role.

This sequel makes me so happy 🙂

  9. LaLa2 says:

I think it’s cute. It’s def. something I would wear.

  10. Apsutter says:

Mad Men was great because it wasn’t all about Don’s f*cking pity party. So over that asshole.

Julie Bowen still needs to gain some weight. She is always crazy underweight and it ages her terribly.

  11. Agnes says:

That style is so terrible. No excuse for it, JLaw.

  12. Moneypenny says:

I think perhaps she was trying to take some hipster tips from her BFF Zoe Kravitz, but missed the mark.

  13. Audrey says:

The jets are such a train wreck of a team

    Go patriots

  14. Dap says:

I want to kiss Harper’s little feet. Those photos make me nostalgic of the times my daughter was her age.

  15. Alarmjaguar says:

I love Amy Poehler so much!!!

  16. ms. deneuve says:

EGAD, I thought that was the sasquatch Kardassian at first!

    • Zozo says:

Yeah. Look the second picture. She totally looks like Khloe Kardashian. Maybe is because of the glasses or the lipstick…

      • EmmaStoneWannabe says:

I think it’s a combo of the lipstick, dark shadows on her face, and the angle of the pic. Funny how lighting, makeup and camera angles can make a huge difference.

  17. Jenna says:

The only things I don’t like are the shoes and the purse…and maybe a different skirt with a better slit.

Also, I’m sad my hubby is apparently not in Red2. *sniffles*

  18. Patricia says:

    JLaw = Johnny Depp.

  19. littlestar says:

Holy cow, I didn’t even recognize her! Lol.

  20. Relli says:

This is what I look like every laundry day.

  21. Jordan says:

I love Jennifer Lawrence’s outfit, especially the hat…I had one very much like it back when I was 22. I like that Lawrence looks different from all the other young Hollywood types.

  22. Gee says:

Did anyone see the CDAN BI everything thought was her? Hoping not..

  23. Aria says:

    No, just no!

  24. B says:

Surprising that she isn’t also wearing a “skinny tie.”

  25. neelyo says:

Did anyone else think the header photo was Khloe Kardashian?

  26. janie says:

    Oh my.. Not good.

  27. Jules says:

I love what Jennifer Lawrence is wearing…it’s different and Lawrence is a unique young woman. Love the hat!.

  28. scarlett says:

Well she never tried to even pretend that she’s a fashion icon.

  29. Poke em all says:

    Actually…she looks cool

  30. mimi says:

That’s just awful for so many reasons. She should have grown up in the horrible 80s (fashion wise).

  31. Cirque28 says:

A post dedicated just to Mad Men every Monday would be very welcome!

      +1

      SPOILERS BELOW!!

Last night’s episode was the best of the season so far. I actually feel like stuff happened!!

I hate Pete Campbell but how he acted towards Harry Crane was dignified and decent. I was shocked actually. I also loved how Trudy just doesn’t seem to need him. Good for her!

I love the Peggy scenes. She always makes me smile 🙂 I like Abe too. Their relationship is a bit unorthodox but it seems to work for them. However, I will say that Peggy hasn’t seem to be really passionate about anything but her work – ever!

The Bobby Draper storyline was nice. I was so glad that Don admitted that he didn’t love his children or didn’t feel love for them and that he pretended (hardly!). My boyfriend (who really only tolerates the show and hasn’t watched it from the beginning) pointed out the wallpaper thing and suggested that perhaps the dark and white not lining up was some sort of symbolism for the strife between the blacks and the whites after the death of Martin Luther King Jr. Hmmm…

My LOL moment of the show was when Joan hugged Dawn, or tried to. What was that!?

And don’t even get me started on Megan and her weeping. Ugghh!!

      • Cirque28 says:

        SPOILERS

Abe has seriously grown on me. To hell with those cheating alpha males! Abe has the makings of a great partner and father. That was so cute when Peggy was obviously excited because he talked about their future kids. I hope she doesn’t screw this up by having a fling with Ted Chaough. Peggy and Ted are having a little sexual chemistry thing right now, but they have zero personal chemistry. I mean, really. What kind of soul understanding is she ever going to have with Ted Freaking Married Chaough?

I laughed so hard at Joan trying to hug Dawn. I actually really like Joan, but… awkward.

      • Apsutter says:

I really don’t understand the Megan hate and people calling her childish. She’s so much more of a Grown and whole person than Don is. LOVED how she called him on his bullshit of making her take care of his kids. “You don’t have Marx, you have a bottle.” Spot on. Loved Peggy and Abe together. I like Abe too and I could see them having kids and him doing his writings at home and taking care of the babies. Like John Lennon when he writing Double Fantasy.

Is there anyway that CB can link to EW’s reviews of Mad Men instead of Lainey’s BS? They have such better and more thoughtful reviews

      • rebecca says:

Megan is unbearable. Or maybe it’s Jessica Pare’s terrible acting.

I loved when Bobby told Don how worried he was about Henry. Don is such a crappy father he deserved that. Henry is more of a father to those kids than Don has ever been.

      • Esmom says:

Megan didn’t bother me, I think her reactions were genuine. She’s not afraid to let her emotions show and she’s also astute, especially when it comes to Don and his kids. Joan’s crying and awkwardness bugged me more.

    • magpie says:

      Yes to that! MM Monday!

  32. Diana says:

That outfit was a mess, there is no need to say more.

  33. Camille (TheOriginal) says:

    Terrible outfit, yikes.

  34. KellyinSeattle says:

Her shoes – Dr. Scholl’s ?? Pretty ugly, but hopefully comfortable.

  35. Lee says:

She is absolutely delightful….and doesn’t give a hoot about what anyone says about her or thinks about her….how I envy her…

  36. blaize says:

Minus the hat, this looks like an outfit that I would wear on one of those days where I don’t really care how I look.

  37. trillian says:

Actually, I like the skirt and the shirt, but hate the shoes.

  38. magpie says:

That outfit is awful. It screams of try with no actual style. The t shirt/shoes/jacket would be OK with jeans, but the stupid hat and skirt are just budget.

    • magpie says:

I didn’t see the fringed bag!! Ew! Um no Jen, just don’t try or get a stylist now.

  39. BooBooLaRue says:

    Diane Keaton she is not.

  40. Jordan says:

Well, that’s probably because she’s Jennifer Lawrence and not Diane Keaton. Lawrence is just being herself, and personally, I think she looks cool.

  41. Nev says:

    Yayyyyyyyy Jason!!!!

    Good for you!!!

  42. lisa2 says:

When I first saw the header picture.. I could have sworn it was Khloe Kardashian, gone blond again.

Jennifer has worn similar outfits.. especially the slit skirt. She seems to like them a lot.

  43. Lexi says:

She looks alright, i dont really like that outfit

  44. Original Me says:

No one should wear that many trends at once, it just looks dorky. I like that hat, sunglasses and jacket, and then she should have just worn jeans and flats or something. Looks too fussy and overdone.

  45. I love Jennifer Lawrence. I especially loved her in Winter’s Bone.

She looks great in anything she wears. She’s an individual.

  46. Kate says:

Way too much going on. Funky Jazz hat, ruffled jacket, front tied shirt, fringe bag, skirt with a slit and tap-like shoes. WTF is going on?? I still dont find her attractive even with all the distractions.
