@Miss J- I read a hilarious bit in USA Today last week that said they have a saying in Spain called “hacer un Pataky” meaning “doing a Pataky”. In Spain they make fun of her because she alway does the over the shoulder look to show off her backside. This made me LOL for a good 5 mins. She’s a joke, even in her own country.

I was re-watching video of Hems and Hidds greeting each other at the Iron Man 3 premiere (I don’t know how that got continuously looped on my computer???) and as Hems is practically knocking down media folk to get to Hidds, Remora is still looking head-on into the cameras. But Hems still has his arm around her so she is being awkwardly dragged away from the flashbulbs. She cannot turn away from the cameras. And the daggers she shoots Hidds for the interruption – oh!
Of course the hot hubs isnt there, because this is finally her ME ME ME moment that she’s been using her husband to get. UGH. SO MUCH UGH.

Tobey, Joel and Carey have been giving good interviews all day though. Still another week before it opens here though, sigh.
I know Leo can get away with that behavior since his movies make money, but for a dude who seems to desperately crave an Oscar it seems like a bad move. Oscars are as much about popularity as performance for stars. It just seems a bit…odd.
I suppose it lends credit to the story that he and Baz clashed on set. Since consensus is it turned out to be pretty terrible (successful, but terrible) Leo probably doesn’t care anymore.
I think he is one of the grossest and most over rated actor out there. Those e-cigs behind his ear is soooo attractive and yet all those “girls” seem more than happy to accommodate him. I guess if you’re rich, for some, it doesn’t matter if you’re a jerk!

I don’t get the hate for her on this site. I realize she was all mean to that last dude, is a famewhore, etc., but that describes a large swath of the Hollyweird population. Her baby is cute and her husband is hot. More power to her.

Re. Behind the Candelabra
While looking forward to seeing this, I felt somewhat disappointed that openly gay actors were not cast in the leading roles. Then I read this article, http://tv.yahoo.com/news/steven-soderbergh-every-studio-rejected-liberace-film-too-011822449.html
in which Soderbergh explains no studio would theatrically release the film because it was “too gay.” So I guess I’m happy this depiction of real-life gay people wasn’t “too gay” for HBO (as actual gay actors would have seemingly tipped it into “off the scale gayness” by Hollywood standards). :s
