Lindsay Lohan and Sean Penn are apparently good friends. I find this nothing short of beyond confusing. First off, if I were Sean’s wife Robin Wright, I’d see someone as skanky as Lohan as a serious threat to my marriage. They must have a strong union if Robin’s alright with Lohan and Penn hanging out all the time. According to Page Six, they’ve been spotted hanging out all over Manhattan and now in L.A. Which also begs the question: what’s going on with Lohan and Samantha Ronson? There were all sorts of reports that they’d recently split, but Lindsay is still denying it.
LINDSAY Lohan left her constant companion Samantha Ronson at home the other night to hang with Sean Penn. He and Lohan went to Nobu in West Hollywood, reports Celebuzz.com. Later, Page Six sources said the pair – who were spotted together all over Manhattan last month – went to newly reopened club Guy’s. Ronson and Lohan have been fighting for weeks, and as one tipster told us, “Sam broke up with Lindsay but she is completely in denial about it.”

It seems likely that Lohan and Ronson have broken up. They’re nearly constant companions, yet they haven’t been spotted together since the first of the year, when they had one of their epic fights on an airplane. And hanging out all the time with Sean Penn doesn’t really speak to a healthy relationship. I find that to be such a random and confusing pairing.
It really didn’t seem like Samantha was going to be able to handle Lindsay in the long run. Sam did tone her down and appeared to help her with some of her issues, but a Lohan is a Lohan, and there’s only so much you can do. At this point I’d be seriously surprised if we saw Lohan out with Samantha again, though I doubt she’ll admit to a breakup for a while. At least she has Sean Penn’s shoulder to cry on.

Agree JayBird, I would see her as a threat also. Having a dog for a husband who likes the “company” of females who are a couple years older than his own kids doesn’t help.

What happened to Sean’s wife Robin? I thought they got back together. I must not be reading the gossip sites closely enough. He’s actually almost old enough to be her dad. Maybe he’s giving her career advice so she can take over Scarlett Johannson’s parts.

Two theories on this one:
1. Sean Penn and Robin announced they were getting divorced in Dec. 2007, then in April 2008, they withdrew the divorce action and seemingly reconciled. Maybe the first attempt at breaking up didnt take and now they are heading in that direction once again, although Lindsey would be an odd choice of rebound;
2. Alternatively, there are rumors that Lindsey is actually getting a real movie role again that is legit so maybe they are working on a project together.

I agree with Trashaddict, her hair looks best red, but she HAS GOT to lose at least 6″ length of those horrible extensions. This is a perfect case of a little goes a long way.

GMAB! Sean Penn, despite being one of our greatest actors, is also one of the biggest cheaters in Hollywood. It’s well-known that he and RWP have an “open” marriage. Even after they called off their divorce last year Penn has been screwing around on the side. The moron actually slept with the skank of all skanks last year. Yeah, I’m talking about Paris Hilton. Hope he wore the entire box of condoms. Why RWP stays with this guy is beyond me. They’ve got to have one of the weirdest relationships in HW. It’s rather disturbing to think of Princess Buttercup being okay with having a manskank as a husband!

First of all why on earth Lindsay would be in denial on the break up if she was hooking up with Sean Penn?
Second,this meeting was in a restaurant and Lindsay was in a table with friends,she wasnt alone with Penn.
There are rumors he wants her in one of his movies he is planning to direct.
Lindsay has layed low since Ali came to La.Leave her alone.
As for Samantha i can see her getting out like a mouse,now that she has become famous and gained a few millions with her association with Lindsay.
No one is commenting on the rumors that Samantha actually was violent to Lindsay on the airport,slapping her.Lindsay should take the blame for the break ups always.

Yeah Linds is looking really skinny lately- probably back on the crack. Sean Penn sounds like a real asshole. I feel sorry for his wife. Anyhow, doesn’t anybody wish they could do a makeover on Sam?
