I was just talking about my hubby yesterday and how much younger he looks without facial hair. Clean and sober living can do that for you. This man is all kinds of sexy and he will be a forever dong in my life. He just looks like he would be so much fun in bed.

@Marie Yep it was me. It was years ago before he got clean and sober. He just happened to walk into a bar in Manhattan that my friends and I were in. He was so much fun but I’m really happy that he got it together. I found out later that Keanu was in another bar/resturant about two blocks from where we were. I was like damn b/c Keanu was my favorite at that time. Now I always tell myself that I can’t believe I was willing to choose Neo over Iron Man. I am now happy that it turned out the way it did.
I saw Robert this year at a NY Private Screening of IM3 but I didn’t get close to him since I wasn’t supposed to be in there in the first place.
@mistress RDJ and Goop have known each other for over 20 years. He even said he tried to sleep with her when he first met her at a film festival in Canada. Something almost happened but it didn’t go that far. This came directly from his mouth. They got out of touch when he started going through his shit but became close again after he sobered up. When he first approached her about starring in IM with him she said no but he told her don’t you want to be in a movie that people will actually go see. I laughed so hard at that. Was he saying that Goop’s movies sucked but in a subtle way.

You don’t remember him hitting rock bottom and the drugs and booze and abuse he did to himself in earlier years? hahaha. He may take care of himself now, but he used to be QUITE the partier!
That’s pretty much what @Mabs and @Crumpets are saying. They know about his drug past but now he is off the narcotics and alcohol and looks great because he is taking care of himself. He traded drugs, jail and strippers for martial arts, herbal vitamins, and a stable relationship for almost 10 years.
Let’s start with 48 is not that old. He has puppy eyes, is very fit, and has the money to invest in subtle procedures that keep his skin looking fresh and taut. He’s smart not to overdo it, but if it were an actress with a furrowed brow like his, I kind of doubt we’d be talking about her youthful appearance.
I still find Meryl Streep beautiful and she’s 63. Raquel Welch and Sofia Loren are permanent beauties in my eyes and maintain a much youthful appearance even way into their primes.
Also there are plenty of women around Robert’s age that are beautiful furrowed brow and all. There have been older women on C/B that we have said are beautiful and youthful looking. Halle Berry may be cray cray but she does not look 46.
I agree they’re beautiful at any age , but that wasn’t my point. My point was we don’t often see women with wrinkles similar to RDJr’s furrow celebrated for their youthful looks. Beautiful, yes. Youthful, not so much. Unless they are relatively line-free, like Halle, or like Sophia and Raquel were well into their 50-60’s (they probably still don’t that much of a furrow lol.)
Men are allowed to have lines and still be considered youthful.
