Heather Mills chops off her hair and promotes vegan charity

Heather Mills really needs attention. Badly. Painfully, even. When you’re not married to someone famous anymore but you still crave the limelight, what do you do? Well, if you’re Heather, you chop off all your hair in a piss poor attempt to imitate Victoria Beckham’s surprising crop job from a few months ago. And then when you’re surprised that no one’s even noticed, you go on The Today Show to yak about your vegan charity. Oh, and brag about how awesome your life is. Even though everyone despises you.

It is an age old trick employed by women the world over to show their old flame they have moved on. And it seems Heather Mills is no exception as she showed off a stylish new haircut on a television show. The 40-year-old has chopped off her long locks and is now sporting a chic cropped style and where once it was a mousy blonde shade, she has now opted for a much lighter bottle blonde.

“I’d actually been thinking about cutting my hair for quite a while. I hope now this is a fresh beginning,” she said. The new look comes as Sir Paul McCartney’s ex-wife bids to raise her profile and that of her charity in the US. She appeared popular American magazine programme The Today Show to promote her vegan charity.

Talking about the divorce she added: ‘It was a very difficult time for everybody involved. We were most importantly trying to protect our daughter and she seems to have come through incredibly well. Everyone I know who has been through a divorce, finds it really, really difficult, I don’t know anyone that didn’t go through a hard time. We just went through it publicly. But things are great, really good.’

She went on to boast about her ‘vegan food push’ where [she] claimed to have donated $1 million (£670,000) of food to children in New York’s rundown Bronx area. ‘I’ve been studying nutrition for a long time now. I am just trying to bring awareness,’ she bragged before adding that she was considering building a food factory in the area to bring in jobs.

[From the Daily Mail]

Thank goodness the good people of New York City have Heather Mills to save us with tofu dogs and quorn chicken substitute. And really, nothing will dramatically change everything in your life and give you a “fresh beginning,” like a haircut. I once chopped off all my locks and woke up as a man in the middle of Russia. It really can create extreme change. I’m glad Heather stumbled upon it. She doesn’t need to do anything like working on herself or going into therapy so she’s not such a raging bitch who’s reviled around the world. A quick trip to the salon and a few snips and she’s as good as new.

Here’s Heather hosting a “healthy cooking day” for the families of the Bronx on Saturday. I really hate to admit it, but these photos make me hate her a teeny, tiny bit less. Almost. Images thanks to WENN.

    Good God. Poor Trudi Styler.

    ***Yikes! My eyes!***

  3. vdantev says:

Should have finished the job by taking off her head.

  4. dr.grrl says:

wow, what an unbelievably ugly hair cut!
it honestly looks like straw shite!
either that, or a really really cheap wig.

  5. KateNonymous says:

At least her hair wasn’t long enough for Locks of Love or other charities that make wigs from donated hair. How’d you like to have a wig that came from Heather Mills?

  6. OXA says:

I saw the video and it looks like she has had some work done on her face. The hair cut and brassy blonde color may be to take the scrutiny off her face.

  7. RReedy says:

God, what an insufferable woman. I heard from a source who would know that she is an unclean individual and does not keep her child clean either. Dirty fingernails, hair, those kinds of things. Glad Paul is doing GREAT!!!

  8. Jayde says:

Ya know, I’m not a Heather Mills fan or anything, but she’s donating a million dollars worth of food to hungry kids. So I just can’t find a big problem with that.

  9. perpetua says:

Not exactly Sarah Harding fab but it suits her. I think a Platinum shade would look best.

  10. morgs says:

She should’ve taken off her head.

  11. Judy says:

If she really did give away a million bucks? She says she does things like this and then it comes out she never did and lied to make herself look good. LOL Nothing can make her look good, lies or that nasty haircut, where did she get that done at ? the 7.00 hair cut shop?

Most of the time I really admire Celebitchy for keeping their personal feelings out of the reporting, mostly, but seriously, your coverage of Heather Mills seems a little over-the-top. God knows I don’t like the woman, but she’s giving a ton of money to charity. I clicked this link thinking, “They can’t possibly rag on her for that.” I was wrong! Kudos!

  13. RaraAvis says:

If the vegan lifestyle is so healthy, why does her hair look like straw?

  14. A.J. says:

She’ll always be one of the most repugnant, repulsive human beings to have ever walked the face of the earth, but the haircut is a slight improvement on that stringy, straw-like mess she’d had prior.

  15. doodahs says:

I actually like the haircut! Don’t much like the scalp belonging to the haircut but I think it’s more befitting her age. Also, if she is bringing attention to a charity, I think she deserves a little kudos no? At this point, she is no less annoying than any other celeb who parades their ‘humanitarianism’ for publicity. Sure she has a past and she is hated in the UK (where the story originates hence the tone) but maybe, just maybe she deserves a second chance?

Only time will tell but I’m willing to let her reinvent herself and see if she can bring some light into this world through her work and money.

  16. pak31 says:

    I’m speechless.

  17. rules says:

The cut does not go with her face shape, it just makes her look OLD, and the color looks like it was over proessesed and damaged, notice how it has no shine and looks dry. This hair was not done by a professional. Looks like she did it herself.

  18. vdantev says:

She’s contracted Bono Syndrome; a condition wherein you perform lots of good works for worthwhile charity causes and still come across as a pretentious, self-important, grandiose Dbag.

  19. browning says:

UGGHH!! She went for Victoria Beckham but she looks more like Courtney Love! Lay off the plastic surgery, lady! Gross.

  20. Carena says:

Yes, definitely a case of the Bono Syndrome!

  21. Daisy-Mae says:

    I think she looks cute!!!

Also, definately not looking bad for her age. Must be the healthy vegan veggies she eats :p

I reckon she’s ace, no matter what anyone says. She is proper girl power.
