Congrats to Seth, but this is actually really surprising, at least to me. They’ve been together forever, and a “source” has been dropping hints about them getting engaged to the tabloids for like two years! So I figured it would never happen if she was pressuring him in Us Weekly to pop the question.

Was anyone else stunned to learn that James Gandolfini was worth $70 million? I wouldn’t have been surprised at $15-$20, but…$70 million? Was that mostly from The Sopranos?
His will shows what a family-oriented person he was. The part about requeting that the property in Italy be kept in the family as long as possible was touching.
I was surprised it was only $70. I thought he would be worth more than that.
I thought that at first too, but he had a pretty lengthy resume and I’m assuming he was paid very well for the Sopranos and maybe got a cut of DVDs and such? Plus he didn’t live a super flashy, entourage laden movie star life, and may have invested well. Good for him. I hope his children use it wisely when they’re grown.

I think we all knew that 3 months ago, though. The obligatory Oscar attendance followed by a ton of shots of the woman alone attending various functions. The man has an MO for sure.
I’m starting to give serious weight to the rumors about Clooney. And seriously, if it IS true he has a long term gay lover, it’s 2013 man, stop this bearding nonsense. Matt Bomer is no less attractive to me, and possibly more attractive to me, because he refuses to hide his family and love for Simon.
So, about Clooney…the rumor was always that he was into really rough stuff, swinging, and bi-sexual, but not gay. Both Lainey and Ted Casablanca have implied this, as well as a local LA blogger who covers a lot of LGBTQ issues and usually barely touches celeb gossip…the most damning thing to me also was that Lake Como piece that got shut down quick that was apparently in a legitimate newspaper in Italy.
I’ve always thought there may be some “truth” to this. If he was gay, I feel like there would have been more out there by now or one of his girls would have talked. However, if he was into really kinky stuff and the girls got involved…they may be afraid to talk because he may have dirt on them, etc. For example, Lainey implied that his tequila commercial may have been a little true to life, etc…That said, if People or US do not have an official break up I’m not sure I would buy they were totally done yet.
