It feels like forever and a day since we’ve had access to new candid photos of Chris Hemsworth. Chris has been on lockdown (pap-wise) for most of the summer as he worked on Cyber, a big, expensive espionage movie. But he finally had a relaxing night out over the weekend – with Elsa and his brother Liam, of course. They were spotted exiting Sketch nightclub in London on Saturday night.
I’m sure the headline could be about Liam and how he’s totally “over” Twerky Cyrus, and while that seems to be the case, I’m choosing to revel in the glory of a great old-school pap session with Chris and Elsa. It’s been too long, Elsa. These couple-y photo ops used to be a weekly occurrence. Then Chris told her to cool it (or maybe he wasn’t promoting anything) so we didn’t see much of them for months. But considering Chris is about to gear up for two major promotional tours – for Thor: The Dark World and Rush, both out this fall – expect a lot more of these kinds of sightings. Oh, and we’ll be seeing a lot of Elsa and India during the day too. Of course.
I do have to admit, Chris looks good in these photos. And I’m reminded of just how HUGE he is – look at how easily his massive arm loops around Elsa. Crazy.

Chris does it for me, Liam does not. I think their acting is terrible (Unless he is in Thor mode) but I like that he seems like a real person versus his wife and the rest of Hollywood. His (Chris) interviews are hilarious- to me.

Me too, Mia. I long for those days of innocence. Now my reflex when I see celebs doing the pap stroll is to ask whats the motive. Are they selling a new movie, campaigning for an award, fighting for a film role by raising their profile?
Honestly, i dont even hate them anymore for doing it. This is a job that requires self-marketting and maybe only a handful can have a career without the self-whoring.

Lol @Arock! It’s true, they’re so delightfully hyper-masculine and I *love* how beautifully imperfect the Hemsworthi’s women are. Elsa is lovely, but not rail-thin Victoria’s Secret style and as for Miley….well…I don’t doubt that once upon a time there was genuine affection there.
I’m still trying to find the beauty in famewhoring Elsa Patacky. She’s average and that haircut doesn’t help. Seems like she is trying to take on his look by cutting her hair and dying it blonde. She also locked on to him because besides famewhoring she doesn’t have a career of her own. She’s now just a celebrity wife.
I have major skin and body envy.
on’t get me wrong she’s attractive but I don’t envy her body because I’m in pretty good shape myself. As for her skin she has a very good make up artist.
We had a discussion in the office today, about working out. If I could afford a personal trainer, I would have my mother hire one, so that I couldnt fire him or her. It is my absolute most hated activity – despite the fact that I can easily go on a 10-hr hike or shovel manure at my summer house (fertilizer!) all day long.
If you had hot and cold running stylists and personal trainers, the $500 gym membership, a makeup artist to follow you everywhere, and the high end wardrobe, you too would have the optimum body and look. A lot of time and money goes into this. And plastic surgery. She looks great, but she also has the resources to work on it.
I agree with V4Real. And I’m kinda surprised people think Elsa has curves? Some yes, but have you ever seen her in jeans? She is really skinny. Even from just a couple of years ago you can see how much weight she’s lost, I hate when I see such deep chest bones on a woman, it makes them look I’ll. I’d love to have her eye color though, her eyes are really beautiful.

Neither of the hemsworth brothers seem particularly bright that’s for sure. Their interviews are dull and Chris seems to be the best actor out of all of them. I don’t even think he’s that good either but he’s definitely the best among his brothers. When he holds his daughter he becomes much more endearing. She’s a lil cutie.

Any idea what’s going on with him and Marvel? I’ve heard rumblings that they are either unhappy with him or he is unhappy with them. Not really plugged into that world but all of the pro-Loki stories do have me wondering how Thor feels
He wants more money. And I would assume that his career is skyrocketing to such an extent that the Marvel contract may be starting to feel like a burden. That said, I think the pro-Loki press is largely about spinning all these weird reshoot a as a positive.
Money and the routine he has to do to keep his body at Thor size is what I’ve read. I think all celebrities are WAY too overpaid so they should be happy with what they get honestly. RDJ got $50 Million for Avengers while I read people got as low as $80,000. I wouldn’t know what to do with $80,000 other than pay my bills and debt off. All of them should be happy they are getting such a large sum of money while the economy is in such a terrible state and all of the working people of the world barely get squat.
Yay! News on Chris! I love him- there’s something so real and down to earth about him. Hope to see/hear him on the red carpet tonight for “Rush” in London. Guess TH will be there to get HIS picture taken, of course. Never misses an opportunity to be seen, that one.
Now I need Chris to start talking about Thor, The Dark World. And when will Chris Eccelston be allowed to come out and play? Sorry to say, it is only the beginning of September, but I am *completely* sick of “Loki”. Bring on Thor and the real villain! Cannot wait for the movie!

Yeah from observing what’s in magazines and the such it feels like he’s more into her than into him. I feel like he’s a trophy for her and she’s just trying to milk it for as long as it can last. I’m sure he’ll come to realize it in a few years but I agree, there’s something not quite right. I wonder if he’s aware of what she’s up to or if he’s that hoodwinked.
