Star magazine has another horrible story involving Brangelina’s children. According to the tabloid, twins Vivenne and Knox are very sick with mysterious ailments, and Angelina is very upset. Take this all with a grain of salt, considering last week’s Star cover story was about how Marc Anthony is violent towards Jennifer Lopez. It sounds like Star is simply leading the pack of overzealous tabloids clamoring for more photos of the twins, who haven’t been seen for months. New paparazzi photos of the twins would most likely go for a hefty price tag, but would be a bestseller for any tabloid.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie debuted their twins, Knox and Vivienne, last August on magazine covers all over the world, but since one brief sighting last October, the 6-month-olds have mysteriously vanished from the public eye. Where are they? What’s going on?
In the Feb. 2 issue of Star — on sale today! — we report on the problems that have plagued the twins since birth — and there’s a long list of ailments. Their worried parents have done their best to protect the babies’ fragile health by keeping them tucked away.
“They haven’t been the healthiest babies,” says an insider of little Viv who weighed 5 lbs. at birth, and Knox, who was only 3 oz. heavier.
And because of their delicate states, Angelina has developed into an uptight mother.
“Angie is being neurotic with Knox and Viv,” says a source. “She won’t let anyone near them without sanitizing their hands and taking off their shoes.”
Adds another: “She’s really freaking out.”

I totally understand that Star has to make money, but I wish they would leave the kids out of their “reporting”. It’s not as if there are no juicy tabloid stories involving The Brange to come out in the past few weeks. Off the top of my head, I could create tabloid stories along the lines of “Angelina at war with Kate Winslet, Anne Hathaway!” or “Does Angelina Need A New Stylist?!?” Should Star magazine self-censor about children, or do these children-in-danger headlines really sell?

I guess this charade will never stop. But you know what….they should sue the tabloids for this headline. I mean these people are going too far here, and Brad and Angelina should take this personal. I am sure their friends and family have seen this and contacted them. They are right to leave the babies out of the limelight for now. Shiloh did not get seen again until she was 9 months. For the sake of insanity, please leave their children alone!
Babies get sick – that’s mean of them to target those babies. I don’t care for Brangelina — but those are innocent babies.

I’m no Brangelina fan, but I have to agree w/Kaiser, this kind of “insider” speculation is mean and hurtful. It’s more likely they don’t want to subject the itty-bitties to cold outdoor temps and hectic promotional travel.
The photo ops usually only include three of the kids at a time, there will be plenty of pics of the twins when they’re older, or Brad’s family photos we be made available for the spread.
I think they’re annoying, but I wish them no harm, and certainly no harm to two little babies.
yah, i hate it when the mags go after women on what kind of mother they are. making up stuff about mysterious ailments and fragility and getting neurotic really hits below the belt, in my opinion-going after women about what kind of mother they are and insinuating that they are failures at one of the most fundamental things of life.
AJ is a mess in general now. I think being amom to so many kids is just over welming and if it’s true that AJ has diabeities I would not be surprised if the twins might be needing extra attention.
Aj right now looks even worse being so sickly thin I mean You literally see every bone in her body. She’s obviously under an amount of stress. But I don’t understand why it’s just her showing such signs and not Brad. I would imagine he must eb worried for all parties.

LOL, reports like this one from the Sun serve the purpose of setting this board afire with detractors saying how Angelina is not taking proper care of her kids (Hi Ned!)…that being said, she’s been busy galavanting and being all anorexic and whatnot on red carpets for her boyfriend’s movie. It’s not necessary for her to be at his premiers considering they have wee babies at home. People would certainly understand that – I hope.
Since pictures of the messiah twins were sold for 15 million dollars, you can’t expect tabloids to not write about them. OBVIOUSLY they sell like hot tits.

fascinating. i hope the stories aren’t true. i would think considering how outspoken brad and angelina are (remember the stories about pax peeing on the chair and shiloh telling people to call her joe?) they would admit whether the twins were ill? granted, angelina doesn’t look well. she’s back to her sticks and bones and veiny arms, but brad looks okay although that comment he made recently about not crying was really weird. they’re a weird family, but weirdness aside if the twins were sick i am sure someone would speak up somewhere.

I hope this story is not true; those kids have it rough enough as it is. The parents greatest mistake was consistantly inviting the paparazzi into their private family lives, now that the barn door was opened by the jolie/pitts themselves, i fear it will continue thru the children growing into adulthood….

Seems unlikely. But the “detailed” stuuf, if true, actually seems very common sense. If I had newborn twins, I’d be keeping them under wraps, and I’d want everyone to use hand sanitizer as well! Especially if I had 4 other young kids! 80% of the dirt in people’s homes comes from their shoes, we routinely take shoes off at the door, and we know many other families that do, too.

It’s definitely inappropriate for magazines to speculate about the health of any child. But it does open the question of whether putting the babies in the spot light in the first place was also inappropriate? Besides, isn’t it assumed by anyone who likes “The Brange” that they don’t care about the tabloids or even read them? When you make your children into a commodity by selling their pictures in the first place, this is the result.

Damn, when I rescued newborn kittens, I made people use hand sanitizer before touching them…. don’t think it’s weird she is doing the sanitizer/take shoes off thing. Do think selling their baby photos to the world is in bad taste (not just Brange but from any celeb) because some things just create a chain of events. Celeb kids having any privacy in life after that kind if sensationalism has perhaps been compromised and that wasn’t the parents call. On the other hand, the media would camp out on their doorstep if they didn’t so it’s a tricky situation.
i dont know/care where the twins are or what they are doing but i think this is mostly Brangelina’s fault. they got themselves into this tabloid frenzy when they started selling their kid’s pictures for the cover of the mags.

Aleach – in case you missed it they did not sell their children to media for more coverage. They sold the pictures on their terms and that is their right for a very moble cause. It is their right to determine who the money for the pics should go to. They didn’t want some psycho paparazzi making money off their children. They wanted the money to do some good. I say bravo…. if a few pics makes millions for a charity then how can one criticize?
Do these rag mags have anything important to say or better yet do they know how to print the truth about anyone or anything?? AJ does not look like she has an eating disorder, she had enough brains not to act like a human garbage disposal and not eat herself into 200 pounds , so she lost her weight. Not saying the Brange but some of the ‘celebs’ admit to trawling the sites to see what’s said about them and the ones that don’t, have people to do it (who sometimes post!). Media is spin and often, damage control happens in ‘staged’ outings to counteract the negative things being printed. Blogs are the new media and they get hits from the very people that are being written about. Perez Hilton has made a career out of it.

Wasn’t there all kinds of speculation about Shiloh not being very public for the first year or so of her life? Maybe, like normal parents, they don’t have enough arms or energy to lug all the kids out places. Since the twins are littlest and would require the most work to take out in public and would care the least about being left behind, they aren’t wasting the energy.
Besides, celebrities don’t owe it to us for us to see their kids. They released photos and now they are going on with their lives.
Why would parents ever release or sell private pics of their children..is different if tabloids get a pic, or something but really? both pitt and jolie are unstable and not responsible..maybe the kids should have some stability, they prob have slept in a 100 different beds..Regardless, IF the kids are sick that is awful and I hope the best for the children..kids get sick though all the time, is this sopposed to be a serious illness or just bullshit..

I think it is ridiculous to speculate about the health of their children. it isn’t our business and it just seems creepy to be talking about someone else’ children to me. Especially if the stuff she is supposedly doing (taking off shoes in the house and using sanitizer) are really normal things that people do.
By the way, I do, however, think it is weird that they would sell pictures of their babies to the tabloids. I don’t care how “noble” the cause might be, you are still selling your children to the media and that is strange to me. Maybe it’s a good thing I’m not a celebrity.
If Angelina is crazy for making people wash their hands before touching her twin babies during RSV, influenza, and gastro season, then sign me up for crazy. I’m a NICU nurse and if you dare kiss my babies on the face this time of year I might slap you. Babies, especially twins who are usually born slighly under developed, are more at risk to catch things, and get sicker from these illnesses.
I think she appears to be a great parent. People want to dig at her for taking them places, and creating a worldly family. She is criticized for selling the photos of her childern and donating the proceeds to charity, rather than letting scheeming paps make money off of them. She is criticized for her relationship, she lack of sharing, her over sharing, her past, present and future. I agree she is interesting, and beautiful, and I love gossip as much as the rest, but this is craziness. If youve ever been through the adoption process you’d understand the expectations that she has to live up to to get these children – you would know she is a good mom and deceint person. You will never convince me she is a bad mom. I’m sure her children will have complaints when they are older, but no one is a perfect parent.
I honestly do Diva. There are a few high profile celebrities who recently had babies and never advertised it by selling photos for the cover of a magazine (Hallie Berry and Nicole Kidman are the first that pop into my mind). Sure, paps eventually get some crappy photos and then eventually more, but there isn’t all the hype or hysteria. As I said before, once you make your children a commodity (whether with noble intentions or not), you open the door for this kind of exposure, and while I do agree that Star is wrong for capitalizing on it, I think “The Brange” are equally responsible.

Star magizine and other tabloid make the most horrible stories about all the celebrity children lately, like: suri’s lonely life, where is Suri, Shiloh recieve death menace, Matilda’s life without a father, who is the cuttest Shiloh, Matilda, Violet and Suri, kingston the king of the playground.
The sad true is that celebrity children sell, this is way the paps follow them everywhere, and make those horrible story about them.

Calm down. I didn’t say she was less of a parent or any of those things. I simply made the point that any average person with the same background would not have had such an easy time adopting. Therefore, the “expectations” she had to live up to in order to adopt were probably not as stringent as your post implies.
After the pics of Shiloh were published, Angelina and Brad kept her “hidden” away for most of her babyhood. We didn’t start seeing her regularly until she was over a year old. They’re little babies and don’t need paps rushing all over them for a picture!
Maybe Brad and AJ are charging too much for the pictures.

I think angelina is a great mom and unlike other celebs u always see her with her kids and they all look very well taken care of! Brad and angie are celebs in their own way they probably felt by releasing the pics of their twins they were sharing a small part of their kids with their fans.I feel society is in a real bad place any time its appropriate to take shots at some one kids!
