Star: Sandra Bullock ‘wants to adopt again’, this time she wants a little girl

Sandra Bullock is having another great year. Unfortunately for her, that’s usually when the bottom drops out on her. The Heat made more money than analysts expected, and it’s on track to get a sequel (plus, it was just a really funny movie). Gravity is making crazy money too, and it’s got great reviews and Sandy will probably get another Oscar nomination out of it. Plus, she gets to hang out with George Clooney and her little man Louis. All is well with the world. Well, now Star Mag says that Sandra is so blissed-out on life, she’s determined to adopt another kid.

Sandra Bullock is reportedly adding a new addition to her adorable family which includes her precious boy, Louis, 3. Sandra had such a great experience with adopting her son that she is now going through the process to welcome her second child, according to multiple reports.

Sandra, 49, adopted her son Louis in 2010, when he was a newborn. Now, the adorable mom/son duo are reportedly planning for a new addition!

“Sandra wants her son to have the same type of upbringing that she enjoyed, and for him to develop a lifelong bond with a sibling. That is the main reason she’s expanding her family,” a friend told Star magazine.

Louis is “a mama’s boy,” explains the magazine’s source. “So Sandra thought he would adjust better to having a little sister than a brother. This way, as he gets older, he will be the man of the house, looking out for both Sandra and his sister.”

Sandra has been loving every minute of her son Louis’ first few years, and did not rush into adopting another child.

The adoption process itself does take some time, as does adjusting to new motherhood!

“She always said the time would come when she’d give Louis a sibling, most likely a little girl,” an inside source told OK! magazine. “She already has the paperwork in progress. She’s gone through her usual adoption lawyer, who also helped Charlize Theron. It can take up to two years, but she put the green light on it earlier this year.”

HollywoodLife.com reached out to Sandra’s rep for comment.

If it’s happening, then good for her and God bless. If it’s not, it’s none of my business. I have no desire to climb up in Sandy’s personal life at this point. I’ll celebrate her successes both personal and professional but I have no interest in inserting some tabloid angle into things. IF she is considering another adoption (which could totally be the case), I suspect we won’t know for sure about it until she brings the kid home. And even then, she’ll probably wait like she did with Louis. I seriously doubt that any potential adoption will be used to further Sandra’s Oscar campaign.

I hope that if this is her dream, thet she is able to realize it. She deserves happiness! Also, we will get more gorgeous baby pics!!

  3. Andrea says:

I love Sandy no matter what she does. If she wants another child, it’s totally her right to go after it.

  4. paola says:

I don’t know her but she doesn’t seem the kind of woman that would use a baby to get an Oscar, she was never a famewhore and she has won many awards already. It seems to me like she’s doing it for herself only (and the baby of course)

I am commenting here in the hopes that people will NOT comment in the Miley thread! So over her. I’d rather read about the Kartrashians than her, but I know they’re going to keep putting up posts as long as she generates so many comments.

Plus, I love Sandra Bullock. I’m sure this story is totally made up, but her baby is adorable and she seems like such a hands-on mom.

I don’t even open the Miley or Bieber posts anymore. I get disgusted and irrationally angry just seeing pics of those losers. Ugh, just writing about them is making me annoyed.

  6. Thaisajs says:

I hope this story isn’t made up. She seems like a great mom and a great person. That would be one lucky little girl.

  7. Kim1 says:

Sandra has denied she is adopting again Star had the same cover in May 2011 and March 2012,I believed. They will keep printing the same story just like the pregnant stories about other actresses until it happens.I guess they have given up linking her to Guys.

  8. LadySlippers says:

Sandra is such a classy woman. I hope she has a life filled joy & bliss and goes the way she envisions. And that’s regardless of whether or not she adopts.

  9. Grant says:

I just love her. Love, love, love her.

  10. Anonny says:

Genuine, non-snarky question**: how easy/difficult is it for a non-famous 50-year old single woman to adopt?

**meaning I have no knowledge of the adoption process but I presume it’s not that easy

    • .... says:

If I remember correctly, Louise is an American child and since it’s easier to adopt black/African American children in the states, maybe it’s an easier and faster process? And maybe it’s then easier for single 50 year old women to adopt them.

    • Happyhat says:

Dude – I was thinking the same thing. I’m not ready to have kids for years, and the mostly likely event will be my eggs will dry up before I get around to it.

So, adopting an older child when I’m in my mid-40’s onwards seems like an awesome thing to do.

Perhaps it’s an age thing? Like, you might find it difficult to adopt a newborn when you’re over 45, but adopting a 10 year old might be OK?

  11. Megan says:

Good for her, and I hope she does whatever makes her happy.

  12. Bridget says:

Um, this woman managed to keep her adoption of Louis a secret in the middle of her Oscar campaign. I highly doubt that somehow Star magazine now has the inside track on her.

  13. Bernice says:

I am 40 years older than my child. I can’t imagine being 50 years older….. At some point one is too old to be the only parent of a tiny child.

  14. Kelly says:

Cool if she wants to adopt, there are many kids who need a good home
