As we reported yesterday, Brangelina headed out to promote their films in Japan the morning after the SAG Awards on Sunday. And of course, Brangelina always travels as a brood. As it turns out, seven-month-old twins Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline were photographed as Brangelina arrived in Japan.
Is it weird that both Knox and Vivienne look just like Shiloh around that age? Methinks the open-mouthed Pitt genes dominate over the Jolie-goth genes. Vivenne is in Angelina’s arms and she’s wearing what looks to be a cute, fluffy, white onesy. I can barely see Knox, because Brad put a jaunty hat on him.

Perfect Oscar timing – notice how Brangelina HAS to campaign instead of relying on their acting chops (or lack there of). Resort to Plan B and bring out the kids and use them for publicity and campaigning for the Oscars. This is the reason I so dislike the 2 of them – constantly using their kids for PR when it is convenient for them. Then being hypocrites wanting their privacy – I wish they would both go away forever.

You are so wrong…Brangelina does give a damn…they really give a damn, which is why they work so hard on their PR. Please note the ANY time they receive any type of negative press they try so hard the next time out to correct their mistakes…their performances and movies are dead in the water at the awards – their nominations are “filler” nominations and they are not really considered contenders – so now they are brining out their kids – to get their nominations they sold themselves with Brad’s parents – they have campaigned for their nominations instead of relying on their performances and let those performances speak for themselves. I dislike them for being hypocrites – the worst kind of hypocrites.

i hardly think 13 nominations is considered “filler.” obviously there is something that impressed the academy. and angelina’s nomination for the changeling…if she is just filler, why not fill it up with a nomination for any one of the talented leading ladies this year-nicole kidman, etc. there are always more wonderful performances than there is space for nominations, so the filler comment is way off base.
they receive negative publicity (im curious what you think the negative publicity is that they received…besides that magazing wildly speculating about the health of their children, they’ve been getting nothing but good press lately) from stupid paps and magazines all the time and i dont see them doing anything out of the ordinary to ‘counteract’ it.

Those carriers are way uncomfortable for moms compared to Asian style carriers or wraps. Especially as babe gets older. But it is very cool to see a celebrity wearing their baby.

the kids have been the innocent all along. they are very cute.
personally i think they look unkempt most of the time and the colours black & grey is not really suitable for kids their age. but different strokes for different folks.

If those screaming crap would take the time to at least try to educate themselves they would be far better off and have a more positive outlook on life. Only the Emperor and Empress are allowed to bypass the main Narita Airport terminal. Everyone else must enter through that main terminal. Doesn’t matter if they arrive by private plane or by scheduled airline service. That is why all the celebs going to Tokyo have their pixs taken and fans are present. There is no bypassing allowed like at other airports with vans on the tarmac and such. Japan strictly enforces its laws.

The hole is fitted for an infant’s arms. For bigger babies, it’s much easier to put their arms above, since they have grown a lot. Also, this way babies can move their arms a lot more, grab things, suck their hands…
Older babies hate being stuck with the head in their mother’s bosom and both arms apart.

I LOVE the one picture of Knox (being carried by Brad) where the baby has this total “Holy Hell, WTF am I doing here????” look on his face–priceless!!!
It’s neat that, even at this age and not due to the way they are dressed, you can really tell which is the boy and which is the girl. Adorable.
Ah, sometimes when I see these kind of pictures I miss my babies being babies! (Although show me a picture of them changing the kids’ diapers, and that sentimental feeling will fade quickly!)

Woh, I just saw a little video clip of this scene at the People Magazine site, and there is so much screaming and so many flashes, it is a miracle they don’t all just start bawling (parents included). I can’t think of anything more tiring than flying internationally with young kids, and to face THAT at the end of it would be just too much!

Gilly, I think it’s probably because they’re bleary-eyed after a long flight. And considering how bug-eyed so many people look after flying (the must.. get.. to.. baggage.. claim.. 20 minutes.. before.. they.. start.. unloading! stare), I don’t blame ‘em.

How else are they supposed to get to Japan?. They have to go through the airport and Customs like everyone else. Hardly a “publicity” stunt. This family has all and more that they want. You know, I just wonder if the people from the tabloids don’t feel sick. I mean, I find slightly weird all this obsession with the celebrities kids. Of course, Suri, Shiloh and these babies are cute. But, I feel disgusted to see them in magazine covers as if they were very much relevant. They’re not. They’re just kids. Nothing more than that. They don’t have to be famous just because their parents are. Ah, but i forgot the kids are exactly one of the reasons this couple is so famous…
About the Oscar, again I’ll say: the couple has to be content with the nominations. They won’t win. Brad won’t get over Rourke, Penn and Frank Langella. Angelina certainly will not win over Kate Winslet, Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway. And Benjamin Button will be bombed. Slumdog Millionaire will take everything.

Angelina has that baby in the Bjorn wrong. The reason for the arm holes is not only for comfort, but also to allow the bjorn front part to provide support to the baby’s head in the event of jostling. Which is an occupational hazzard when you are they oungest of 6 kids!

Has anyone ever noticed that when Shiloh was young in photo’s with Angie, Shiloh never really held onto her mom. she would hold on to her dad in photo’s but with Angie, her arms would always be at her side or away from Angie. It’s eerily similar to Knox looking like he is trying to hold Brad but Vivienne doesn’t seem connected to Angie at all….

I don’t agree though that they couldn’t have hidden them. They knew they were going through the major part of the airport, both of them have likely already been through that particular airport. They could have put blankets over their little heads if they really wanted to keep the kids hidden and maintain their privacy. It’s a great PR move though, gotta give them that.
The Curious Case of Benjamin Button has 13 nominations yeah…only two of those are for acting. Don’t pretend like the movie got a bunch of nominations because the acting was so great. It is mostly nominated for things like sound, script and make-up effects, all of which were extraordinary. They are doing a great job of Oscar campaigning but it won’t work. No one in their right mind would give those awards to those two over the actors and actresses nominated in their respective categories.

Anyhoo, it’s a great photo op, and it’s great that they can make sure the nannies give them the children once they have the photographers notified and waiting.
However, this is another illustration that Angelina is completely clueless as to how to take care of children.
You would have imagined that after 6 children she would figure out how to put a baby in a carrier.
That’s what happens when nannies are the ones taking care of the children.
Angie should have paid more attention to what her nannies are doing, BEFORE she begins another round of photo ops before the Oscars.

From watching that video I feel as if it could either be totally innocent, or a total publicity stunt. I can’t decide either way. They seem to be walking very slowly through the area so that people can take their photo. I’m also sure that an airport would have another entrance that would allow them to get to where they needed to be with more discretion. I feel bad for the children, they’re becoming celebrities through no choice of their own.

The video tells the entire story.(like they are in a parade) The kids look unhappy. They know how to evade the media, but they didn’t want to. They wanted to be seen, and don’t forget the Oscars. I’m getting sick of them trying to manipulate everyone. It is their full time job. They should just focus on being parents. A nanny reported a while back that they never let anyone hold the children when pictures are being taken but behind closed doors that’s what mainly happens.

On the other hand, when tabs start having headlines like: Where are the Twins? what does usually mean?
For them it means that the paps are now competing to get a picture of the twins which leads to more danger for the family (trespass, break-ins, etc.)
They are smart, in my opinion, to deflect some of that by just giving the paps what they want–a few photos of the babies in a setting they can control.
People who scream and yell about Brad and Angie setting up photo-ops quickly forget that even on a huge mansion in France, where they did everything possible to be private, papparazzi still tresspassed and took picutres of them in their own home.
They obviously have to balance giving enough photo ops so that it doesn’t become a competition to the paps and increase the dollar value of the pictures because then things can get ugly for all of them.

I’m not even bothering to read all the snarky stuff in the comments. It’s not weird that the two babies look like Shiloh–they also came from the same two parents. My brother and I (two years apart) looked absolutely identical as babies.
And the open mouth big eyes thing is most likely from all the photo flashes.
I don’t get it when people get so emotionally invested in hating celebrities to the point of making stuff up about them and speaking of them like they know them. It’s creepy.

Ok I watched the video. They each have a child by the hand and each have a baby in a carrier on the front. What were they supposed to do, sprint through the airport? LOL! Some people here have apparently never traveled with kids before, much less six kids. Little legs don’t cover a lot of ground quickly. Angelina has Shiloh by the hand and she’s what, two? Three? That age doesn’t walk fast unless they want to, LOL. You have to slow down your pace so they aren’t being dragged.
But I suppose that would have been better? Drag the kids through the airport because they’re moving so fast?

I have traveled with more than 6 kids and something about the video and pictures creeped me out. It looked like the parents were happy and waving and the kids looked sad. It is funny how they can not be seen when they want to. The children are so cute though, I can’t help but feel bad for them.

You know…
I wish they’d stop working for a while and just settle back like Demi did. It would make me feel better, as a mom, to see that happen.
That said, I love that they are ALWAYS with these kids. From all appearances, they’re doing fine. The kids weren’t scared in all that chaos at all…they seemed secure and happy.
If we never saw the kids, we could know that they were always with the nannies. But we DO see them. All the time. To me, that means they’re with mom and dad a LOT. Your average mom in suburbia probably devotes less one-on-one time to her kids than these people seem to do…so I’m not sure where all the hate comes from.
But I do wish they’d stop working until the kids are older. They don’t need the money.

Incidentally, it looks like Brad has Knox’s arms coming out from the top of his carrier also. I don’t have an issue with it. They’re still being safely held. I know from my kids, you do things the way that it works for you and the baby.

I absolutely adore Brad, Angelina, and their beautiful children. They make a wonderful couple.I don’t know why so much nastiness is directed towards them by some on this, and other, websites. I don’t know if it’s because of the Brad and Jen thing. I liked Brad and Jen too, but they broke up 4 years ago! Brad and Angelina look happier than ever. And Jen is glowing and goreous at 40. They’ve all moved on. I think it’s time everyone else did too.

Narita airport (Japan) is TOUGH, slow airport..As a single person w/ one little rolling bag, every month I had a tough time. They probably wear sunglasses indoors because of all the flasbulbs. Wldn’t be bad idea for children to hv. on. In the industry, you sometimes hv. contractual obligations for promoting Oscars. It’s a game that has been around forever. Good to see Ange wearing her baby. She always wore Z for a yr. or so. I didn’t see that w/ Shiloh and felt bad. She adopted Pax when Shi was baby & shld. hv. focused on her baby instead. Anyhoo, they hv. just learned to go w/ it & let kids be photographed. Operation deflect. Good plan. I wish them well & happiness.
