This week’s OK! Magazine cover story is sort of hilarious. The piece seems entirely based on a photo taken of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes as they exited the Ivy in LA last week. Tom Cruise was photographed - nay, posing - with his hand on Katie’s abdomen, which is apparently how babies are made!
OK! actually bothered to get some other sources besides the patented Xenu-impregnation, hand-on-belly photo evidence. According to OK!‘s sources, Katie and Tom would both like to have another baby, which I actually buy. Tom, especially, I think would be happy to have another child, but he genuinely seems content for Katie to make her choices, which I give him credit for. I don’t in any way think that Tom is forcing the idea of another pregnancy down Katie’s throat. See? I’m trying to be nice.
When Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes exited the Ivy restaurant in L.A. on Jan. 21, the smiles on their faces as they glanced at each other said it all: “We’re in love!” But when Tom gently placed his hand over his beautiful wife’s belly and she clasped his hand and held it there, the message was even louder and clearer — the couple have another baby on the way!
“It was identical to how Tom used to stand with Katie when she was pregnant with Suri,” an eyewitness tells OK!. “And the way they looked at each other! You could see the love in their eyes and there was a feeling that they were sharing something very special at that moment.”
Although Katie’s rep tells OK! she’s not expecting, everyone who knows the pair believes that if she’s not already pregnant, she will be soon.
“Tom would love to have another baby!” a friend of the actor tells OK!. “There’s nothing that gives him more pleasure than his role as a father.”
And, according to a Valkyrie set insider, the couple would be ecstatic if their second baby turned out to be another girl! “Suri has been such a joy for Tom,” the insider says. “As far as he’s concerned, he’d be happy to have another girl. Katie feels the same.”

Another girl? Perchance another Suri doll that they can dress up in beautiful coats? That would be nice. Katie recently finished her Broadway run, and there’s been speculation that Tom and Katie will be moving to London to both try for West End theatre production this spring, but I don’t buy it. Valkyrie and Tropic Thunder were Tom’s comeback roles, and they did pretty well for his image. I suspect he’s going to declare victory and try to regain his action-hero status with some big, splashy movie. But maybe Katie can stay home, barefoot and pregnant.

Tom really wanted to believe that the scientology can “cure” everything.
Why Katie’s exes didn’t ask for a paternity test is beyond me (right after Chris she dated some others…).

Ten bucks says they make sure, through a sperm donor, that she gets pregnant with triplets. You see, EVERYONE in Hollywood is having twins, and they have to one-up everyone else.

they want to have another baby girl so they can reuse the dresses, because they are so cheap, (and perhaps broke). But We all know they would splash crazy big amounts again on clothes.

If she’s pursuing stagework, then a London move is not that unlikely. Just reading The Stage, London theatre is thriving despite everything, shows are doing much better than anticipated and audience numbers were up for 2008. (Box office rev = £480.5M, up 3% on 07’s record figure, attendances for the year = 13.8M - up 1%.) Maybe she’s had some offers of work?

I thought she got a role in Neverland and another movie which starts shooting shortly in NY. I wonder what their son would look like.

I hope they do have another soon, now that Katie is done with All My Sons, hopefully it’ll help her get away from her ‘Walking Dead’ look.
