OT: Again, I’m underwhelmed by the Jupiter Ascending trailers. Mila seems really out of place, and I have a feeling she was miscast. I’m glad I didn’t see too much of her in the trailer. What little I saw of Eddie Redmayne I liked, though. He reminds me a bit of Gary Oldman in the Fifth Element.

People who have lists like this are like high school boys. They are trying to impress and probably embellish . LOhan does seem to be the type. I agree, Hannah. Lohan has a horrible record with honesty. Why anyone would believe anything she says is beyond me, especially something she released in order to get attention. She is willing to hijack cars and steal things, but she must be 100% honest on her conquest list? That doesn’t make sense to me.
And she was pretty “back in the day”…but that was during Mean Girls a decade ago. She has been a complete mess for a solid 8+ years now.

I do not meet either of those criteria, but I think it’s pretty screwed up.
My sense is that Tom wanted to completely sever any relationship that Nicole had with Connor and Isabella after the divorce due to Scientology concerns, and that Nicole willingly went along with him and decided she’d have a different set of kids.
I was about to write that. Usually there is no difference from adopted kids to natural kids for a parent. Let’s not forget that TC is a CoS though. The kids had to cut Nicole out of their lives, whether Nicole liked it or not. As Suri is cut off from TC’s life, same issue.
I just read an interview last week where Connor talked about his mom Nicole and I how much he loves her.
I think it’s a sad situation, I do think Tom blocked her seeing them, I don’t know how, and I don’t know what he had on her, it is hard to believe she would let him take her kids but it does seem to be what happened. It is still pretty weird she speaks about them as if they don’t exst to often though in regards to her new family, poor kids.

Yeah, because the healthiest thing anyone can do is go under the knife for elective plastic surgery a million times, with the potential risks of anesthesia, medical mistakes, infection, addiction to pain killers, and so on, well into the elderly years. Thanks, Kiddo. I am soooo tired of the body shaming of Lena Dunham. She isn’t morbidly obese, and she could be perfectly healthy with a few rolls. Weight loss isn’t magic, and some have a really hard time shedding the extra pounds. People shouldn’t rag on Angelina Jolie for being thin (I truly believe it is all genetics and that she doesn’t have an eating disorder). I am disgusted by Joan Rivers and her plastic face, and disgusted that anyone would support or defend her.
That’s what I don’t understand. Lena Dunham is a pretty average size, averagely attractive–nothing special looks wise. She is NOT morbidly obese—she’s chubby. If anything, shade her on her horrible fashion sense, but her body? No. She looks fine. I thought she looked fine in that bikini pic, mainly because you could actually see that she had a shape.
Lena is overweight just like Angelina is underweight.Why is acceptable at CB to say AJ is unhealthy because she is skinny? Yet if someone calls Lena, Adele, Melissa, etc. fat overweight obese, etc. then people are outraged.
Good point – I seriously doubt Lena’s health is in jeopardy because she’s not a size 2, she’s pretty average and might be in perfect health for all we know. But either way, that’s between her and her doctor, and not someone like Joan Rivers, who wouldn’t know about good self image if it smacked her in the face.

I’ve learned here that it’s only body shaming if you don’t like a persons body and you name specific parts why. If everyone on thread or just majority agree with your opinion then it’s not body shaming.
Example. Adele and other larger women are body shamed if you say they’re fat.
KimK is called fat and other things, but it’s not body shaming on those threads because everyone feels the same.

The most annoying thing about skinny-bashing on this site is that even when a formerly very thin celeb does gain weight all the “eat a sandwich” “that skinny is not sexy” comments still persist, as if people are not even looking at the pictures, just looking for any excuse to skinny bash. People bash AJ’s weight even when she’s covered from head to toe and you can’t even see her body properly.
Lena recently criticized Joan Rivers for making racist jokes at a party she attended on an episode of Marc Maron’s WTF, so I can’t help but suspect Rivers is being petty in her remarks about Dunham’s weight.
That Lena is so frequently slammed by the public is so perplexing to me. It’s not uncommon for male comedians to make fun of their saggy physique for laughs, but when a woman does it, all hell breaks loose. I’m sure there’s some people who legitimately don’t like Lena Dunham’s brand of comedy, but it’s gotten to the point that when people slam her, I just assume they’re misogynistic assholes who are uncomfortable that a chubby woman doesn’t give a fuck what they think of her.
I understand what Joan is saying. I like Lena and LOVE her show, but Joan Rivers herself said she got all of that cosmetic surgery done because she felt like she was ugly and people would tell her she was ugly when she was younger (she got her first face lift at 40 years old). She said she was never one of the “pretty girls”, but that being said you would think she would have some empathy for Lena. Lena isn’t fat, but honestly her skin elasticity is very poor for someone who is only 26 years old. I know she can’t help the way she is built (her genetic make-up), but if I was her I would be trying to tone up or something if I was on a show walking around naked most of the time (but that’s just me). Keep doing you Lena.
Good points, cerebralmind, but I think part of the reason Lena is naked in her own show so often is BECAUSE she doesn’t fit the stereotype of “perfect body”. She is using her body as a way to challenge the status quo of the female form on TV. Toning up would kind of defeat the purpose.

On the one hand I think at least some of her list is made out of crack dreams, on the other Franco is pretty douchey/obsessed with portraying himself as Professor Highbrow of Pretentious Hollywood University, so I wouldn’t necessarily take his word on it as there’s no question the association with her at this point is an embarassment and makes the guys look un-picky at best, seedy at worst as we all know what a trainwreck she is.
