She’s way twee. It’s not a put together look as much as it’s a contrived look. The whole pigeon toe, Mary Jane, retro thing is just kind of lazy at this point. She’s a pretty girl and if she was less curated it would radiate.

It is entirely possible to dress neither like a little girl nor half-naked. Women do it every day. Taylor Swift keeps dressing like a little girl rather than an adult. It’s part of her image, she likes to pretend to be Little Miss Innocent, she likes to further the misogynistic virgin/whore duality to her own ends. It’s pure calculation.
(And btw, that is a very short dress she’s wearing, and tights do not change that. Not that there’s anything wrong with very short dresses, but Taylor is having her cake and eating it too.)

I don’t know. I was watching E News last night. They had a lot of details about the incident. I had no idea his new movie Palo Alto is based on his own book. Also, they showed pics of the girl and the video footage of when they first met outside of whatever studio/place he was at. He saw her and said “tag me”. So she tagged him on instagram and then the conversation began. I don’t understand why she said “I’ll come back when I’m 18”. She knew his age and her own age before she “tagged” him. Maybe she just wanted to say she met someone famous, but she had already met him in person…so I don’t get the point of talking on instagram.

How much exactly are you being paid by Taylor Swift’s PR team? Just kidding. Although responding to almost every slightly negative comment about Taylor on this post is a little OTT.
The biggest change I noticed aside from the hair is actually Taylor wearing heels with her day to day outfits. She was usually wearing oxfords or flats, but perhaps with Karlie being so much taller than her (even in heels), she found the confidence to wear them.
As an aside, Taylor was very clever to get her implants in proportion to her figure. Although when she isn’t buttoned up you can really see their obvious contours, particularly since she has such a slight frame. You can tell she went to a good surgeon since so many people still don’t think she had them done. She certainly has the money to afford the best.
Except she still hangs out with her friend Britany with whom she’s been friends since they were toddlers. Thats the Britany she took to the Grammys this year and the Britany that was at Bullets over Broadway with her last week. And she’s still friends with most of the other women she’s always been friends with. Just because you dont hang with every friend you have every week doesnt mean you’re no longer friends. They all just have their own things going on.

I don’t dislike Taylor but I think these friendships are made in a publicis’s office, she hasn’t had a boyfriend in a while and I read somewhere that she hated the fact people now thought she was slutty or needy, but that she enjoyed the publicity, this is the perfect answer no? Doesn’t seem desperate and free publicity for two popular girls, like with Lorde, both would benefit from it. There’s nothing wrong with it, she seems to have her eye in the game, but she seems insincere to me.

I saw that. Apparently she was in some kind of personal drama via the blog. There was some kind of rally cry/rant on her page (tldr) but it was vague. I get the impression that her history of legal issues had been brought up and highlighted, but really if you’re going to call people out for a living you should be ready for a simple google search on your life- or at least less sensitive about it. It’s a shame, she was funny as hell and seemed to have a following. Any one else got any info?
