Alex Rodriguez is having a bad week. His steroid use was outed early in the week by Sports Illustrated, and he gave an interview the next day admitting his guilt. On top of that, his supposed-sort-of girlfriend, Madonna, has been fooling around with a new (younger) beau, Jesus Luz, and pics from the photoshoot on which they met reveal a lot of nakedness and making out.
It’s now being reported that to handle all the emotional stress, A-Rod has gone to see his wife in Florida, and Madonna is not happy.
“Madge is pissed!” reveals an insider, after A-Rod headed home to Coral Gables, Fla., in the wake of his steroid-use scandal. “Alex ran right home to Cynthia, and to Madonna, this is the ultimate dis.”
According to our source, the Queen of Pop is mostly livid because A-Rod didn’t come to her for solace.
“But Alex’s handlers want to make sure he’s as far from Madonna as possible,” says the insider. “He has enough negative publicity as it is.”
No stranger to the spotlight, the Material Girl has gotten her fair share of attention lately by squiring Brazilian model Jesus Luz around NYC. But insiders insist her dalliances with the 22-year-old Luz — who’s featured wet and making out with Madge in W magazine’s March issue — are just for publicity.
“Madonna and A-Rod have been burning up the phones,” reports the insider, “and she keeps on insisting that Jesus is just a PR stunt. Alex says he understands, and now he’s asking her to understand that salvaging his career is his priority.”
The predicament has at least brought one upside to the slugger: Now that he’s unable to focus all his attention on Madonna, she only wants him more. “Madge is totally making a play to get him back,” confides our spy. “She feels like she’s losing him, but Alex is only with Cynthia for comfort. Plus, he’s afraid she’ll talk!
“Meanwhile, Madonna just wishes he had come to her. She has been the subject of negative press her whole career, and she wants to help him understand that this too shall pass.”
She may soon have the opportunity — the source says Her Madgesty is already making plans for a secret rendezvous. “She’s so desperate to see Alex, she’s plotting a way that they can sneak out to the Hamptons to work things out. She wants to have some alone time.”

Whether you think he should be kicked from the league or not, you have to admit that this is a really stressful time for him, and it’s natural for him to want to go back where he feels safe. What the article fails to point out is that his kids are also with Cynthia. I wouldn’t be surprised if he was staying in a hotel and just spending time taking his kids to do fun stuff, to get away from the press. I doubt there is any risk of A-Rod going back to his ex-wife, especially after their nasty, public split. But she will always be a big part of his life, and maybe Madonna just needs to realize that. The last thing he’s going to want to do is generate more gossip by hanging around Madonna at this point. She’s brought him nothing but bad press since the beginning of their relationship, partly because no one’s quite sure what their status is. What is this “spiritual relationship” mumbo jumbo? Are they sleeping together or not?
Note by Celebitchy: Rodriguez was also photographed in the Bahamas making out with an unknown woman earlier this month. He is said to have gone back to his hotel room with the woman and his girlfriend- who just happened to be making out in front of him at a club beforehand.

Pretty class act by Cynthia to be kind to this ass. Let’s not forget he was running around with Madonna while Cynthia was pregnant with their second child.
And if he is running home to ‘Momma’ it does questions his resolve in what he did ‘for Madonna’
As for Cynthia, I doubt she would want the cheating (both madonna and steroids) back. Besides she has the two best things from him, their children and I am guessing a whole lot of cash

madonnas manager has done nothing to improve arods career other than make him a waterboy at her concerts, and still arod does not get it! he turned his back on the people that have always been there at the start and now when the shit hits the fan these people step up to the plate and protect him, hes got a crisis on his hands and it seems hes still crazy inlove over madonna what is wrong with this man? whens he gonna snap out of it! and save his family and career, I guess he knows who his real friends are now, hes gonna need more than a red wristband to help his sorry arse, I say strip him of everything contracts, sponsors the lot then he can follow madonna at her next tour.
