Kim Kardashian in a pale pink jumpsuit in LA: Easter egg fug or sort of cute?

FFN_Kardashian_Kim_VM_041814_51387561

Here are some photos of Kim Kardashian last Friday, taking her grandmother Mary Jo Shannon to lunch in LA. Mary Jo is the woman who birthed Lucifer’s Homegirl, so we could say that Mary Jo is the true source of all that is wrong in the Kardashian-Jenner clan. As for Kim’s pink ensemble… she looks like an Easter egg, right? I don’t mind her in pink, but this jumpsuit looks cheap as hell. It looks like a tacky poly-blend but I’m sure it’s probably expensive.

As for the Kardashian-West wedding – which might be something like five weeks away – Us Weekly says that Kim and Kanye haven’t told friends and family where the wedding will be held at this point. People are just going to have to fly into Paris on a certain date and then they’ll be told the venue. There are also stories about Kim undergoing some kind of “extreme diet” ahead of the wedding:

Kim Kardashian has reportedly gone into ”extreme dieting mode” in time for her wedding. The 33-year-old reality TV star – who is following the high-protein Atkins diet – has banned any liquids apart from water entering her mouth in order to shift 5lbs before her and her fiancé Kanye West’s big day next month.

A source told OK! magazine: ”She doesn’t really drink, but she likes a glass of red wine with dinner and coffee in the morning but her Atkins mania won’t allow her those anymore. She won’t even have a sip.”

The brunette beauty – who has already lost 50lbs since giving birth to her daughter North last June – has been eating lean protein and green vegetables to help her achieve her slim physique.
However, she’s terrified she’ll slip off her diet plan, so she makes sure she has healthy snacks on hand at all times.

The source explained: ”Her assistant has a bag of celery sticks with her at all times.”

Meanwhile, Kim, who is set to tie the knot in Paris on May 24, has recently upped her workouts to five times a week and has banned carbohydrates, including bread and pasta, from her house in order to avoid temptation.

An insider said previously: ”She’ll eat veggies, but no noodles, rice or bread. It shocks her body. It’s the only way to get the weight off. She does 100 squats each morning to lift her booty.”

Us Weekly’s print edition had a similar story a few weeks ago, that Kim is doing a flat-out “no carbs” diet. As I’ve said many times before, I could never do no-carbs. Carbs are what make life worth living. Besides that, Kim is already back down to what I think of as her pre-pregnancy weight. I’d even say she’s slimmer now than when she first got pregnant with IgNori. Why try to take off five more pounds if it’s just going to make you miserable?

  1. It’s not the worst thing I’ve seen her wear, so that’s something I guess.

I’m not convinced that “no carb” is a healthy or effective way to keep weight off. She must not exercise at all, huh?
I couldn’t get up in the morning, much less run 8 miles a day without carbs.

    • paola says:

I tried once to avoid carbs for a while. I managed to do it for 3 weeks.. But then my period came 40 days late and that scared me so much that I’ll never do it again. Plus I think eating everything in moderation is the real deal.

      • Nene says:

Omg Paola, I had a similar experience a fews ago when I went vegan. My MP wasn’t late just scarce- below normal. Never experienced anything like it not even in my early teens. And the worse part of it all, I looked a quite anaemic.
Found out it was my diet and went back to my usual foods pronto and everything became normal again.
Bottom line is not all diet is for everyone,no matter how hard one tries. You’ll only end up miserable and if one isn’t careful all the weight packs up even more – like there’s no tomorrow.
Moderation is still the way to go imho.

      • ParisPucker says:

Guys, don’t do this to yourselves!!! I have a good friend whose a doc and she says that she saw countless people in the emergency room with suffering livers (I think it was this organ – or maybe it was the kidney..) which REALLY suffer when you take extreme sharp diets such as the ‘no carb’ diet. Everything in moderation is right! All I remember is that she said it’s really super bad for you and that she can’t believe the amount of misinformation that is out there. I don’t think having too many veggies or fruits is ever bad for you, but somewhere you need to make sure you get protein…however, having ONLY protein isn’t great for you either, hence heeding the old adage. This site has dedicated itself to providing more accurate info on the Atkins diet. Remember that the dude (Atkins) died of complications from heart disease — Nuff’ said!

        http://www.atkinsexposed.org

      • Isadora says:

Yes, it’s the liver. Because the brain NEEDS glucose to function and usually you get glucose from carbs. If you don’t eat any carbs then the body starts an emergency program where it breaks down fat in the liver to get a glucose-like substance (or you would die) – therefore the fat-burning. But it’s a lot of work for the liver and some people’s liver is not up to it.

These forms of low carb diets – be they Atkins or “Paleo” or whatnot – are just fads. They can help you lose quite an amout of weight in a rather short time, but they are hardly suitable lifestyles.

The same problem is when people go vegan because someone writes in a magazine it’s healthy. I’ve been vegan for several months (I still eat probably 80% vegan) and never lost my period or was anemic or something. BUT I read a lot about nutrition and was/am very careful in my meal planning etc. If you eat vegan you need to ensure that you get your nutrients from the right sources (plus take a B12 supplement) – just eating the same as always only with vegan substitutes is rather unhealthy. Same goes for extreme versions of a vegan diet like being on a strictly raw vegan diet or even 80/10/10 which is imho just a form of an eating disorder.

    • swack says:

My daughter works with a trainer and on the days that you work out your suppose to eat some carbs. She can’t be working out – which you need to do help weight loss – and not eating carbs. Also, what is the black with that outfit? Is it part of the outfit or a cami or what?

    • FLORC says:

She’s worn worse. This covers her up and the color is fine for spring and easter.

No carbs only works if you don’t need the energy for cardio and you watch your calories. It’s very easy to consume excessive calories when it’s all protein and fats.
I lasted a week once, but wasn’t training for anything. I crashed with no energy, ate a muffin and felt a million times improved.

Generally speaking I hate diets and hearing the latest fads. Is it too much to ask for people to adopt a healthy lifestyle? Balanced diet and exercise? Especially when they don’t really do anything?

    • Country girl says:

I feel it really depends on how one approaches the diet. You can eat alot of vegetables and low sugar fruits and lean meats/fish. So a low carb diet can often mimic a paleo diet in composition. Plus…if you are exercising as much as it says she is here you can eat more carbs and still lose weight. It sound like she is taking it to the ultimate extreme. You can also drink coffee on the Atkins diet so I don’t know why se is banning it.

      • FLORC says:

        Country Girl
For me straight coffee was awful. I needed to load it up with creamers and sugar to be able to drink it. Since i’ve cut out coffee (and caffeine) from ym diet my body does process better. It sucks to go through withdrawl, but worth it.

      • Isadora says:

Paleo IS generally a low carb diet. It’s just a new name with a new philosophy and “new” rules.

    • homegrrrl says:

This looks great from some angles and horrific from others; it depends on which paps are paid off to publish in which magazine that her family also “owns”. That’s the k way. And how would she possibly carry a small baby in that pink silk frock? No Ignori on easter?

  2. MonicaQ says:

I go on no-carb for football season and it is a special kind of hell. And I always gain 15lbs back once the season is over. When I hit thirty I’m going to have to stop this mess. -.-

Oh and that suit is awful.

  3. blue marie says:

Is it wrong that my first thought was “meh, she’s looked worse”
I dunno, her grandma looks pretty cool.

  4. Josephine says:

I’ve said it before – the notion that she exercises is ridiculous. Her body is soft, especially her arms, and her legs lack muscle. No one that young who exercises looks that soft. Her obsession with her appearance is very, very sad. Her life seems completely empty, which is shockingly sad since she actually has a child.

    • HH says:

THANK YOU! I’ve said this as well. Especially because Kim tried to pass off the notion that she exercised 3 hours a day! I used to have a hard time believing that she had liposuction and butt injections, but now I’m absolutely convinced. Why? Kim has mysteriously “lost weight” in all the “right” spots (for someone that wants to be curvy): arms, legs, stomach, face, back. Her boobs and butt? Nope. Still the same size, or at least nowhere near proportional to the weight she’s lost everywhere. And doctors agree that you lose weight the way you gain. If you gain weight all over, you should lose it all over as well. Kim has actually proven this when she lost weight in the past. I think it was back in 2009. She lost weight all over.

LORD! She USED TO BE GORGEOUS and her STYLE was ON POINT in the LAST photo!

      • FLORC says:

Holy Hell! That last photo she looked amazing!
I think Kris really messed up her kids. Kourtney keeps her distance and is still pretty ok. Khloe kept hers, but is now being awful and spending more time with Kris. Kim was always the favorite money maker and never had a chance.

      • gg says:

Don’t really need any proof, it’s very obvious.

      • HH says:

@FLORC – Isn’t that last photo a STUNNER?! I knew she looked better before the surgery and injections, but I forgot just how much better!!

      • blue marie says:

She was way prettier back then. I still don’t understand why she decided to change, go through all that plastic surgery, it’s nuts

      • FLORC says:

Maybe 1 nose job in she was still ok.
I think overall Kim and the bulk of the K clan is a good example of what fame does. When you wear what others style you in you don’t really have a style.
Poor Kim is surrounded by undeserving egos and faux fashion gurus. I doubt she was ever free from what we now know to be a very abusive mother to evolve into an adult.

Maybe i’m too light on her. She’s easily avoided if you don’t want to know what she’s up to. All her money is hers because someone, somewhere liked her clothes line or watched her show, or read an article (threads included).
She has terrible style now and gives a blank stare from too much fillers, but having to grow up without her father and left with a monster of a mother, I go easy.

    • wheezy says:

      Amen Josephine!
That (probably) Kartrashcan Kollection outfit was ok….until I saw the back! Yikes.
Someone said on another post last week how her footwear always screws up the ensemble- its true! Lol
Ummm and how about her day glo orange skin, look at the color difference between her scalp/part and face.
      Hair looks nice though.

    • lucy2 says:

I bet she does go to the gym for hours a day – and stands there looking at herself in the mirror the whole time. She’d be better off with an intense hour and then oh I don’t know, going home to spend time with her kid.

  5. Belle Epoch says:

KITTEN you are correct! Super high protein diets work – but they are TERRIBLE for your body. Long-term, they kill you. (I won’t go into all the research, but it’s there.) KK does look thinner in the legs, but her shape is so artificially bizarre it doesn’t really matter! (See that horrifying butt on the boat photo from Thailand if you need a reminder LOL)

    • Whatwhatnot says:

I think she looks thinner in the legs because that’s where they remove most of the fat when they transfer it during lipo sculpt (Along with tummy and arm fat). There is a famous Dr in Atlanta named Dr Curves and that is how he does his procedures. I am convinced that Kim does this type of procedure

  6. MD says:

Why does she never smile anymore?

  7. Loopy says:

I did the atkins diet and lost so much weight, but the minute i ate a panini it came back to bite me in the ass lol Seriously the moment i started eating carbs again i gained more weight than before.

  8. cat says:

    Ugh. Hate saggy crotch jumpsuits.

    • gefeylich says:

Obviously she’s wearing a piece from her “Klassy Kardashian Kollection” for Sears. It looks ugly and cheap enough, definitely her style and speed.

  9. Mimz says:

I don’t know.. I don’t hate it. It’s a bit big for her but it’s ok. Her face looks horrible but OAN her ass looks smaller!! OMG
    Well. She looks ok-ish.

    That’s all 🙂

  10. QQ says:

I bet if they take out the Butt Fat/ Implants whatevers and the boobs… There go your 5 pounds

    • BooBooLaRue says:

I’ll see you and raise you 20.

      • janie says:

I’ll raise you 25! She’d be under 100lbs if those were gone. She’s small everywhere else. Her rear has overtaken her big boobs, they look small in comparison.

    • Beatrice says:

That was my first thought, too–but I was thinking that would drop 20 lbs .

  11. Buckwild says:

Well I won’t shade her for trying to lose extra weight before her wedding. Many non-celeb women I know try to do that in some form for a few weeks leading up to their wedding because they want the photos to turn out perfect. I would just be scared of ruining my stomach lining over one event by starving like that.

    • Erinn says:

Mmm. I’m getting married in August, and my initial reaction was “I NEED TO LOSE ALL THE WEIGHT” and had a minor freak out. Went through a period where I was not eating enough, and felt like crap. When I went and found a dress, I ordered a size with a little wiggle room, and plan on altering it as necessary. I didn’t set myself up for stress by ordering a too small dress and hoping to shed the weight before the big day.

    • Nina W says:

I lost weight from stress leading up to my wedding and my gown was then a little too big with no time for alterations. Every time I look at our wedding photos I see the rumpled fabric on my waist, it’s so silly but it drives me crazy.

  12. almondey says:

@Kaiser LOL at this- “but this jumpsuit looks cheap as hell. It looks like a tacky poly-blend but I’m sure it’s probably expensive.”

    http://www.lipsy.co.uk/store/kardashian/kardashian-v-neck-belted-jumpsuit/product-is-DR07333_041

and voila, it’s kardashian kollection so that must explain the “tacky poly-bend!” lol

  13. HappyMom says:

I think I had that jumpsuit back in 81-and it was from Lerner’s. Same tacky pink, same tacky poly. I was also 15-so what did I know? I thought I looked hot.

  14. daisyfly says:

There is no tone or definition in her extremities, a clear indication that the only “workout” she’s been doing is lifting her phone up several inches away from her face and taking selfies. As for her booty lifting squats, that’s a really funny euphemism for implants.

  15. JudyK says:

Pink is her color…hope that’s not what she wore to church services. I don’t understand why she ALWAYS has to expose her gigantic boobs…not a good church look.

But then, look at her role model, Pimp Mom, who wore a mini-dress to her weirdo church yesterday.

  16. Jackie Jormp Jomp says:

    I actually like it.
But her makeup/spray tan/whatever makes her look jaundiced.

  17. L says:

It’s cute from the front, but the back view. UGH.

And no-carbs is like no-cheese. Couldn’t do it.

  18. Jana says:

Doing no carb must hell. You can do low carb and lose just as much weight, but with more delicious food. Whoever told her no carb was the way to go is playing her.

  19. Hissyfit says:

She looks better here. It’s her huge fake ass that ruined her otherwise super hot body.

  20. Jessica says:

Um, no carbs is not healthy. You need complex carbs to give you energy.

  21. InvaderTak says:

Holy self tanner batman! Look at her face compared to the part in her hair in the header photo. Wow it’s …yellow. ugh terrible.

  22. Rita says:

“Ye shall know the end of days drawith neigh not by the rapture of the righteous, nor by the glaciers suffocating the fires of the under world, but rather by the absence of KK on gossip sites.”

    Psalms 19:22

    Thus, it is prophesied.

    • Dimebox says:

Nay. Verily I say unto you that paradise shall be unto CB’ers when KK’s flotation device takes her away on the tides. Here endeth the reading of the Kartrashian Khronicles.

  23. sundaygal says:

Did she pick this number up at Dress Barn?

  24. Dawn says:

Good god, Kim makes it looks like a people of Wal-Mart shoot. She just looks so cheap and nasty in a cheap and nasty jump suit. Her Grandmother on the hand looks like she should be going out to lunch. Maybe she should stop asking Kanye how to dress and start asking her Grandmother who seems to have more brains then Kanye and Kim put together.

  25. A Fan says:

As always with Kim, it should work, it could work, it would work…but, somehow, it just doesn’t.

  26. Lauren says:

Sorry, but I will never understand why some people put themselves through that. Why don´t you count calories and work out? Sure, you lose the weight not as quick but you do it in a healthy way. There is no quick fix or miracle in weight loss.

    • gg says:

Also, the second you start eating real food it comes back and sticks there.

    • Isadora says:

There IS a philosophy behind fasting that I find reasonable but you should never do it to just lose weight. Fasting has a long tradition, esp. in spiritual circumstances (nuns in medieval monasteries did it, Indian yogis did it, etc.) and the normal people always had some kind of involutary fasts because food was sometimes scarce, esp. in winter.
The theory behind the health benefits of fasting is, that once your body has no food it starts an emergency programm to survive – so you get for example all those hormones and enzymes to keep everything going. The side effect of this is that some things also get repaired in this emergency program that would otherwise be neglected by the body because they are not that important but in a case of crisis the body thinks it can’t have even minor disturbances so better fix it up quickly.

That doesn’t necessarily sound unreasonable but it’s definitely no diet to lose weight. Quite the contrary, I think it is VERY important after a fast to eat good and real food to get back all the things that were used up during the fast and that normally means a bit of weight gain. And three weeks for water only is imho also rather dangerous and should – if ever – only be done under close medical surveillance.

  27. Naomi says:

It looks cheap because it is cheap. It is from their own collection.

  28. Mylene - Montreal says:

The fabric look very tacky and cheap !!! No surprise here hey !

  29. BooBooLaRue says:

OMG from the back? It looks like a remade prison jumpsuit. NO!

  30. pnichols says:

I like the outfit, the color is nice, but it seems too big on her in the back. She looks pretty though, soft. And lets not go nuts on the girl, geez cut her some slack a lot of brides diet. Grooms too.

  31. Nene says:

    *Typo-few years.

  32. Tinker83 says:

What is considered to be lean meat(s)? I don’t really care for fish too much (I eat it once in a blue moon) and I’ve been sort of curious about this for a while. Is hamburger considered to be a lean meat, provided it’s got like 10% fat in it?

    • Nina W says:

Beef can be lean and yes it’s fat content they’re referring to, and there are many lean cuts of beef. For meat eaters that are health and diet conscious turkey is super popular because it is a high quality protein, low fat meat.

    • Isadora says:

The funny thing is that “lean meats” or so-called healthy non-red meats like chicken and turkey are normally the ones that contain CRAZY amounts of antibiotics and are “produced” in extremely unhealthy circumstances. It’s quite often the same with beef but sometimes you actually get grass fed beef from sources with no industrial food for fattening (same goes for lamb and goat meat, which are not that fashionable anyway).

The healthiest meat in this regard is probably wild game although it’s red meat, but at least in Europe wild game is still contaminated with radioactivity from the Chernobyl disaster (even after 28 years). People often don’t know that because it’s something that’s quite hushed up but for example in Bavaria (which is app. 1400 km/870 miles away from Chernobyl) every tenth shot wild pig can’t be used/sold because it’s radiation content is too high.

  33. Crystal says:

She has no manners whatsoever. She should have been holding the door open for her elderly grandmother. Instead, she headed on out the door without another thought of anybody but herself. I hope the door didn’t swing back into granny’s face.

  34. Shiksa Goddess says:

She has cellulite on her upper arms. I just can’t wait for her and Kanye to get married so it can just be over with. Literally. Onto the next one. Chicks had 3 husbands already it’s such a joke.

    • Andrea says:

Right? Why bother to get married. If I got a wedding invite for a “friend’s” third marriage I’d pitch it into the bin. I put friend in quotation marks because I don’t think she actually has any true friends just desperadoes like herself and her mother.

  35. Jana says:

That is the worst jumpsuit I have ever seen; it’s flimsy, hugs in all the wrong places and should not be worn with black pumps~a neutral sandal would have looked so much better. And anyone whose ever been on a strict no-carb diet knows how incredibly fast that weight comes back on the minute you start eating normally. It’s the worst diet for long term weight loss.

  36. Ming says:

Her arms seem so soft for someone who works out so much.
Not eating carbs and only eating protein is bad for the body, all that protein is bad for the liver.
The KK clothing line looks cheap, hence why it’s sold at Sears.

Way to leave granny in the dust in order to get ‘the perfect shot’ from the paps. She has no shame in her pap stroll game. Gross.

  37. tredd says:

    Black shoes? REALLY?

  38. idk says:

So they told everyone the wedding is going to be in Paris, and the date of the wedding, but the location is private? Oh please, like Kim’s not going to call the paps to tell them?

  39. idk says:

She’s bad at acting all “demure”. Really fake.
