Here are some photos of Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield at last night’s NYC premiere of The Amazing Spider-Man 2: Stickier & Webbier. Before we talk about the dress… yeah, we’ve got to talk about the hair. Yesterday, Emma debuted these bangs as she made her way around town, making TV appearances. The bangs trauma is recent, it’s something she just had done a day or two ago. It might have even been a spur-of-the-moment thing, like “I wonder what I would look like with really thick bangs” and before she talked herself out of it, it was done. Dear Emma: the bangs are an awful idea. You have a beautiful face. You do not need bangs. In fact, they take away from your beauty significantly. They are TRAUMATIC.
As for the dress… it’s Prada. There’s a darting issue in the bust, that’s how you can tell. It’s a “Prada signature” to make young women look like they have weird nipples. Anyway, I don’t have a huge problem with the dress other than the darting issue – it could have been really cute in a blue or even a green, I think. The nude color is just kind of blah though. Maybe it’s me, but this awful hair just makes everything look sort of blah. As for Andrew, he also got a haircut recently. And the buzzcut does him no favors.
I’m including some pics of Emma out and about in NYC yesterday too. These bangs trauma photos are even worse.

I like the bangs on her and I would like the dress if it were shorter, like knee length.

She looks stunning in that first photo but vaguely frog-like in that second-to-last one.
And that picture of Garfield winking enrages me.

Only the best drink ever made. There’s some debate on the history/ingredients, but it’s a champagne based cocktail with lemon juice, simple syrup and a dash of gin (or vodka is a F-76), and served with a twist. Surprisingly light and refreshing, and um, quite effective. 😀
French 75 is the best summer drink ever.

Agree, on all accounts! The first shot is gorgeous, and unlike Kaiser I love the bangs on her. The only thing she needs to lose is Garfield.

I think she looks pretty in both outfits. I don’t think she “needs” the bangs, but they don’t bother me. I find her so adorable.

I think Garfield’s hair cut is for the Scorsese movie Silence. He is playing a monk. Yes he looks bad with it.
Emma’s hair looks tragic not just cause of the bangs but the new hair color too. It looks like a cross between strawberry blonde and a dirty blonde. Which is her natural hair color. Thing is she looks better as a redhead.
Why does everyone hate bangs? I think bangs often makes a person look younger, it’s usually flattering. 🙂
I don’t hate bangs. I think they can be edgy, stylish, and dramatically transform a person’s appearance. When I got mine cut back in the day, I actually had a co-worker come up to me and say that they were trying to figure out if I just started working there. Unfortunately this is the first time that I will agree that a person on this blog looks pretty bad with the bangs. They just do nothing for her. I am used to seeing that giant white forehead that makes her look elvish and youthful.
The bangs are fine, they frame her face nicely. The dress is on the other hand is so very boring.

I think she has such a great face that the bangs take something away from that. She doesn’t look bad or anything but I just think she doesn’t need bangs.
To me she is the embodiment of “cute ugly” or “ugly beautiful”, I dunno. One moment her face is very froggy (these bangs truly don’t help), another one she looks amazing.

The bangs would be fine if she just futzed them up a little bit. A bit of lift at the root and some separation and texture at the edges would be a tremendous improvement. I do like the Prada dress, though.

Dress ok. Andrew needs hair as he has nice thick hair with this cut he should wear some Dr Martens and tight jeans he could be in the film, This is England 🙂 I don’t really care for him one way or the other just not on my radar.

I actually don’t mind the bangs themselves, it’s the rest of the hair that’s killing it for me. It needs more structure or definition. Looks like someone took a hacksaw to it. And the graduated color is weird too.
Andrew Garfield is not attractive. Especially with a buzz cut. I saw him interviewed for the first time on Graham Norton (never saw the Spiderman movie) and I didn’t realize his voice was so high pitched. He acts like a 14 year old.

That hair color looks so much prettier than the blond she had before and the bangs look nice too. I like her.
I love her and the dress. She and Andrew seem like an adorable couple…. I still find her weight loss worrying, especially when you consider her weight in films like Zombieland and Easy A. Sure, some people are naturally thin but her face is downright gaunt and has changed due to the weight loss. It just doesn’t look healthy nor natural.
And if you go back further to Superbad, it’s even more worrisome. The change has been pretty dramatic.

I like her a lot, not just because she was born with the beauty genes. But… sometimes her mouth bugs me, and other times I think she looks like an old lady without make up.
