Snoop Dogg got what his attorney called a “great deal” and will only serve 5 years probation with 800 hours community service for two separate incidents last year involving marijuana possession and illegal possession of a gun by a convicted felon. He could have been sentenced to up to four years in state prison as he has two prior offenses, but they were both over ten years ago and were non-violent, which means that did not count under the “three strikes” law:
The 35-year-old rapper, born Cordozar Calvin Broadus Jr., agreed to five years’ probation and 800 hours of community service. He faced charges of gun possession by a felon and sale or transportation of marijuana.

Teenagers screeched when the music star strutted down a hallway to the courtroom. Court security ordered them to stop taking pictures.
Defense attorney Donald Etra said outside court that Snoop Dogg smokes marijuana because he has migraines and has a medical permit under state law.
Snoop must have a medical permit for all future marijuana use and is barred from hiring gang members to work for him.
Given Snoop’s easy experience with the criminal justice system. it looks like Nicole and Paris will get off without jail time for their respective DUIs.
The pot-loving rapper still faces charges from another incident when he was found with a collapsible baton in his carry on luggage at a California airport last September. He claimed the weapon was a stunt for a video he was filming and had no idea it was banned.
Snoop started a successful youth football league after coaching his son’s football team in 2003, and there is a movie in the works about it called Coach Snoop. Snoop is being sued by a NY-based reality production company, who claim he entered into an agreement with them to create a reality show centering around the football league, but was unable to do so as he was already under contract for the movie rights. Under his sentencing last week he can only serve 400 of the 800 hours of community service working with his football league, and most likely making his film.
Snoop was recently seen at LAX wearing slippers with embroidered marijuana leaves on them.

And another thing. This twit really ticks me off. Don Imus can get fired for talking about “nappy headed ho’s” but Snoop can sing about ho’s all day on his albums because it’s considered an “art form”.
The entire catalogue of his music/rap or whatever you want to call it can be summarily flushed down the crapper as far as I’m concerned. -

a few years back, when snoop was getting in to actually being a dad to his son and watching him during sports events……the neighborhood that snoop dog poop lives in is a very nice suburban area…. anyhow, when parents of the kids on the team found about snoop poop dog, and his smoking weed, prior felonies, owning a porno site that bears his name and a multitude of other offensive activities that makes a grown man look stunted…….the parents of the sports team had snoop banned from having anything to do with their kids because he is a bad influence.
