Chris Martin was in NYC this weekend because Coldplay was the musical act on Saturday Night Live. Interestingly enough, Alexa Chung was in NYC for a week as well. I’m including photos of Alexa at the Met Gala (she wore the ugliest Nina Ricci gown I’ve ever seen from that fashion house) and from May 1, when Alexa made an appearance at FIT’s end-of-year runway show.
So, is this a conspiracy? Just more rumormongering about how Chris Martin couldn’t keep it in his pants during his marriage and he might have fallen in love with Alexa at some point? We talked about those rumors back in March, shortly after Chris and Gwyneth’s conscious uncoupling announcement. And in Chris’s first interview post-split, he seemed to take the blame (in a very riddle-me-this way) for his marriage break up too.
Well, anyway… long story short, there’s some evidence that Chris and Alexa are maybe dating now. LaineyGossip got a tip about this tweet:

Interesting… very interesting. Is anyone shocked? Not really. I kind of think Chris and Alexa make a better couple than he and Goop ever did. Now, do I also think he’s a hipster poseur going through a mid-life crisis? Of course. But it will be interesting to see what happens here. And you might want to pour out one vitamin IV drip for Goop – Alexa is younger, thinner, cooler and much more Britishy. Poor Goop.

Alexa Chung is seven years younger than Chris so I don’t think it’s really a mid-life crisis thing. That being said, I don’t care whether they’re together or not.

I think she’s very very pretty. Very skinny, but I don’t remeber her ever being heavier, so maybe she’s naturally that thin.
And he’s really handsome. I though he was cuter when he was younger and dorkier, but he’s still really handsome.

As a biologist, any man who goes on a date and wants to talk about narwhals (or any other interesting, obscure animal) automatically goes up in my estimation. Really, is that weird? 😉

I’ve never been a fan of Coldplay but they do seem to compliment each other. Chung still looked better with that Monkeys guy imo though.
Her legs are just thin, at least Goop’s legs are toned. But whatever, never really cared about Coldplay. Also good luck on him moving from one stable relationship to another. I think he just wants a rock star life now.

Ok, this probably means I’m a racist or something, but I had only ever read her name and I had a Seinfeld moment and assumed she was Asian. Then I saw the photo of her in the header for this thread and I was so confused. I guess I’m a terrible person. But it’s also kind of funny.
