Justin Bieber accused of attempted robbery last night, made a Belieber cry

Justin Bieber

These are not photos of what I’m about to talk about, but they do show Justin Bieber out and about with his “crew” over the past few days. I told you yesterday that Justin Bieber would get in trouble soon. The title of this story sounds very dramatic, but stealing someone’s phone is considered robbery. That’s exactly what Swaggy did last night. He got upset when a woman looked like she was going to take a photo. Bieber reached into the woman’s purse and grabbed her phone. He gave it back but only after a wrestling match. How very Chris Brown of him. Police are still investigating:

Justin Bieber allegedly committed an attempted robbery … so claims a San Fernando Valley woman, and TMZ has learned the LAPD is now investigating.

The woman tells TMZ … Monday night she was at the Sherman Oaks Castle Park — a complex with miniature golf and a batting cage — when she spotted Justin and his entourage playing a little mini golf and then hitting balls.

The woman says Justin and his crew got into an altercation with some guys at the batting cage when J.B. noticed she was going for her cellphone to take pictures. She says Justin demanded to see her phone so he could erase any photos. She says she refused to fork over the phone so he then went into her purse and grabbed the it.

The woman says she began wrestling with Bieber, trying to get her phone back. She says he ripped it out of her hands but couldn’t accomplish his mission because the phone was locked.

She says Justin gave her the phone back and demanded that she unlock it to see if she took photos. She obliged and showed Justin she had taken none. She says she told Justin she and her 13-year-old daughter just wanted to say hi, and Justin screamed, “You’re humiliating yourself in front of your daughter. Why don’t you just get out of here.” Her daughter started crying.

She says at that point Justin turned and started screaming at someone else.

Law enforcement tells TMZ … the woman lodged a complaint and LAPD cops went to her home Tuesday night to take a report to determine if a crime occurred.

[From TMZ]

That poor 13-year-old girl. She thought she was going to meet her idol, and Swaggy made her cry. At least there’s one less Belieber in the world today.

I’m flummoxed at how Bieber overreacted at the thought of this woman taking photos of him playing mini-golf. What was he afraid of revealing to the world? He poses with fans all the time. The stuff he posts on his Instagram is embarrassing enough already. This woman couldn’t do worse damage than Bieber’s own photos … if the swag crew was simply playing mini-golf.

Justin posted this photo to prove what a wonderful person he is. This is a picture of Bieber playing guitar as a child as “older, wiser” Bieber drops a dollar into the guitar case (here’s the original image). Ha. Bieber needs to change up his “inspirational” fonts.

    Just deport the jerk already!

    • SunnyPuglet says:

      We don’t want him back!

      • Nighty says:

I find the discussion between the Canadians and American so funny… Just deport him to a deserted island… Both countries and the rest of the world would sigh of relief…

      • ReignbowGirl says:

There must be a way to remove both Justin Bieber and Rob Ford from the headlines. I’m thinking something along the lines of a Survivor-like show where they’re on a deserted island for a long time. The twist? The cameras aren’t actually filming and no one goes back to pick them up.

      • SunnyPuglet says:

LOL ReignbowGirl. I think you found the solution 😀

  2. aims says:

Lock him up! I know it’s California, but how much more is this prick going to have to do before someone says enough? He needs his ass kicked legally or for real.

  3. idk says:

That’s Justin on the stairs when he lived in Stratford. The old him and the new him…lol just a dollar huh Justin? I bet he was a nicer person back when he didn’t have money.

  4. Laura says:

    Wow I hate that guy

  5. msw says:

can it be attempted robbery if he did not intend steal it? Not that I’m excusing him. I’m not sure of the specifics of the law.

this kid is going off the rails. Overreacting aggressively like that , it’s either drugs or behavioral health problems manifesting in violence, or both. I’m starting to wonder if its a cry for help, if he is truly delusional or if he’s out of his gourd all the time.

    • blue marie says:

His intent doesn’t matter, he removed something from a person when he had no right. The only reason she got it back was probably because she fought him for it.

      • kri says:

She should have wrestled his ass to the ground while her daughter filmed it. That would have been hilarious-the Beebs getting some discipline from a mother. Cause I think that would have been the first time ever.

    • Ag says:

he took it from her by force, committing robbery (depending on the state definition). that he didn’t keep the phone doesn’t matter – the taking of it by force does.

    • doofus says:

I think it’s more a case of “affluenza”…no one has ever told that kid “NO” because he’s the bread-winner and, therefore, the ATM for all of these hangers-on, including the parents. I mean, his dad drinks/drugs and parties with him.

what he needs is a jury/judge to put him in his place since his parents are on the payroll and can’t/won’t do so.

    • lunchcoma says:

California doesn’t have an “intent to permanently deprive” element in its robbery statute. If you take property from a person by force or fear, it counts.

    • paranormalgirl says:

He’s behaving they way he does because he CAN. I highly doubt there is any behavioral health problem other than the fact that this person has been indulged since childhood and as doofus said, never been told no.

    • homegrrrl says:

I would be a mess if I wore my pants down below my tushy. This would feel like a constant threat and my sympathetic nervous system would trigger unremitting flight or flight syndrome. Now we can all understand the source of his demise.

    • Kerrboom says:

He’s lucky it wasn’t my purse he grabbed and rifled through because if it was, he’d have a swollen eye right now.

I hope the next time this happens (because we all know there will be a next time), he gets kicked in the nuts.

  6. blue marie says:

Ha, Beiber photo shopped himself into that dang photo, did a bad job too.

  7. the original bellaluna says:

I see he’s going full – on Blohan on innocent people now. Nice.

  8. Chloeee says:

Did that tool seriously photoshop a pic of him giving himself A dollar? Like the ghost of dick-mas future?

  9. Tracy says:

What a complete tool this idiot is. I wish that woman had kicked his ass.

  10. K.B. says:

They’re both wrong. Everyone’s going to immediately come to this idiot woman’s defense just because it involves Justin Bieber, but she was trying to take pictures of him acting like a moron so that she could sell them. She got caught, so she changed her story to going over to say hi because her daughter “is a fan.” I’m not defending him, nor am I saying his behavior was right, but they’re both living examples of “stupid is as stupid does.”

People are so trashy and exploitative nowadays.

    • feebee says:

Nice argument but not one that would stand up in court. She allegedly went for her cell phone to take pictures, yet there were no photos on her phone. Even if there had been, he is in a public place with no expectation of privacy, he has no minors with him.

There was a better way to interact with her than steal her cell phone and if I was her lawyer I’d probably add assault her while she tried to retrieve her property.

      • Tiffany :) says:

I agree. Taking pictures of a person in a public place is NOT illegal, so she wasn’t “caught” doing anything.

Secondly…don’t go to a public mini golf and batting cage facility that is CRAWLING with children (Beiber’s demographic) if you don’t want people to notice you. Rent it out for a private night, etc.

Also….she was supposedly taking pictures of him getting into an altercation with another group of people? So he is fighting with one group and then turns around and fights with her? How many tantrums can one man-child have in a day?

    • briargal says:

Who’s to say she was going to sell the pics? If she was a witness to an altercation like she claims–maybe she wanted pics to back up what was happening to show the cops! Or maybe she really did want a pic of the little dink for her daughter. He has to expect pics taken when he is out in public. He wanted to be a big star and now he has to put up with all that comes with it. But it’s a good thing I wasn’t that woman–and he reached into my purse, he might have gotten a chop to the arm and would have had to wear a sling to match his diaper for a while!

    • MsMercury says:

I agree with feebee. This happened in a public place so that whole argument doesn’t hold up. Anyone can take photos of anyone or almost anything in public. But Justin isn’t allowed to steal this ladies property. If he was so upset he could have tried to talk to her instead of manhandling her.

    • Red32 says:

There were no photos of him on the phone. They can’t prove she intended to take pictures of him. Maybe she wanted to take pics of her kid , make a phone call, check her e-mail.

    • lunchcoma says:

People take pictures of celebrities for all kinds of reasons, not all of them financial. There’s no right to avoid being photographed in a public place, and it certainly isn’t as bad of a choice as deciding to get physical with someone.

    • paranormalgirl says:

Wow KB, so you were right there, in this woman’s head? Oh wait, no you weren’t. You have NO idea what her intentions were, yet you call her an idiot.

    • swack says:

And you know that is what she was doing because you were there. To me, and it’s just a theory and could be totally wrong, her 13 year old daughter was with her, probably enthralled that they were at the same mini golf as Bieber and wanted a picture of him. It doesn’t matter why she was taking the picture, he had no right just to take the phone from her.

  11. doofus says:

“That poor 13-year-old girl. She thought she was going to meet her idol, and Swaggy made her cry. At least there’s one less Belieber in the world today. ”

just what I was thinking. he does this to enough “fans” and he’ll have no more.

  12. Shelby says:

I find it funny that everyone in the pic has long sleeves and/or jackets and theres JB, shirtless

  13. Kiddo says:

He didn’t want there being photos of him having an altercation with other people, so he was already involved in f*ckery when he initiated round 2 with the girl’s mother. He wasn’t engaged in an innocent game of putt putt.

If he doesn’t want people/fans around, why doesn’t he rent out the place like other gazillionaires do?

  14. Sarah says:

Just have to say that you find the BEST photos of Bieber. The cranky toddler getting shoved in his car seat is a favorite, but he looks like he is crying in this last picture. LOL!

  15. feebee says:

Now just think… if he was a similarly aged black male who went into this woman’s purse and removed her cell phone.

However, that aside, the attitude of this guy is so appalling as to be hard to believe. He probably doesn’t even see the crime. If the LAPD don’t either then may I refer them to my first statement.

  16. Hmm says:

Is it strange I actually feel bad for him? If it was anyone else grabbing the phone, I can’t imagine an official police report would be filed. Smells like she wants money.
None of that changes the fact that he is an asshole though.

    • feebee says:

Honestly? You think if some random punk came up and went into your purse and removed your cell phone you wouldn’t at least file a police report, at most want to press charges?

    • Emily C. says:

Yes, it is strange. This vile little douche went into a woman’s purse to grab her cell phone. If it were “anyone else” he’d likely be in jail right now.

    • cro-girl says:

That’s what I was thinking. Its not as simple as some random punk coming up and going into your purse either, totally different circumstances. He’s still a dick though.

      • briargal says:

Sorry but no one, famous little dink or random punk, has the right to go into my purse. Only the cops! He is only a little thug child!

      • jaye says:

I don’t get how those two scenarios are different.

    • MsMercury says:

I don’t feel bad for him one bit. He has no right to take or go through someone else’s property without a warrant. And yes cell phone crime is rising. It just doesn’t get talked about that often.

    • lunchcoma says:

Really? Because if someone grabbed my phone out of my purse and I had to fight him to get it back, I’d definitely call the police.

    • paranormalgirl says:

I would call the police no matter who thought they had the right to go into my purse and grab my phone. I’d probably clock the little brat, too.

    • LaurieH says:

Seriously????? We’re talking about a punk teenager harrassing and threatening a grown woman in front of her child, reaching into her handbag (illegal) and trying to confiscate her phone (illegal). He may not like having his picture taken, but she has a legal right to do it. If he doesn’t want his picture taken in public, then he should stay out of the public.

      • Ho Lee says:

Bieber isn’t a punk “teenager”. Bieber is a punk ADULT. Bieber is in his twenties not teens.

  17. sillyone says:

I will be glad when someone knocks this little punk POS down to size.

  18. Lucy2 says:

That photoshopped picture is HILARIOUS, but also said. That little kid has grown up to be quite the a$$hole.
I’d be fine with him asking the woman to please not take his photo, but as doon as it gets physical- NO. Good thing he has all those bodyguards- you never know when you’re going to have to wrestle a mother.

  19. Emily C. says:

And if this is the way he acts in public, just think about the things he must have done to people in private. He’s going to end up doing serious harm to someone, probably a young woman (if he hasn’t already), and even then I doubt he’ll get punished for it.

  20. Jackson says:

Why would anyone give in to this fool when he demands to see their phone to check for pics? I’d tell him that yep, I had pics, and that nope, I wasn’t deleting them. He needs to get over himself already.

  21. lower-case deb says:

that little boy on the steps looked horrified that there’s a doppleganger giving a dollar from a pink purse, with his underwear hanging out and wearing no shirt.
“hey, that’s okay, keep your dollar, you look like you need it more than me.”

sometimes Goodwill or Salvation Army don’t stock pants in your size, and a good shirt can be costly…. we realize.

  22. shellybean says:

I don’t understand how some of these celebrities think they can DEMAND from a stranger access to their phone to delete pictures! Who the hell do they think they are? If they’re in a public place then anyone can take their picture and there is nothing they can do about it.

He is such a loser, scuffling with a woman no less and screaming at her.

    • TheOneandOnlyOnly says:

Shellybean you know it’s the ridiculous sense of entitlement and self-absorption and living in an insular bubble that creates these monsters. Interestingly, though, being a rock fan, the great bands of the 60d-70s didn’t behave this way in public, were way cooler and far more talented, but audiences overall were more laid back. It was a different world just two generations ago. The media saturated world of today has also helped create mini-monsters like Jbooby.

  23. ramona says:

If Justin Bieber put his hand in my purse, I would react the same way as if anyone else put their hand in my purse: I’d go for his eyes.

  24. LaurieH says:

One of these days, this over-priveleged little sh-t is going to mess with the wrong person and get the beat down of his life. And when that happens – which it will if he keeps it up – the world will be deafened by the cacophony of cheers.

  25. Suzy from Ontario says:

I’m sick of these celebrities going off on someone pulling out a cell phone… Guess what? You have a job which makes you a celebrity and puts you in the public eye. Deal with it. You get paid a heck of a lot of money to help balance the inconvenience. Those people who are going off on are the ones who bought your records and made you famous which has allowed you to live in luxury and buy whatever you want. Stop acting like a total douche.

JB is totally out of control. His parents enable him and he’s going down a path that leads no where but jail or dead. He acts like a total idiot…immaturity like this with excessive money and no one to tell him no does not add up to anything to be proud of.

  26. aquarius64 says:

    THIS. IDIOT.

The only reason the Swaggy One was going for the phone was fear the alleged altercation at the batting cage would be captured on a camera phone and sent to TMZ. He still had no right to go into the woman’s purse; and he’s been in the public eye long enough to know what he does on a street is fair game, especially since he’s a public figure. True to form Team Swaggy puts out an innocent lamb Instagram for damage control, proving his handlers know he messed up again. It would be funny if another person filmed BOTH incidents and sent them to TMZ. Talk about karma.

  27. Kerrboom says:

NOW will the courts deport him?

Sorry Canada, we Americans like you and all, but you can have your Beiber back now.

  28. Vilodemeanus says:

Does this little dweeb have any fans left at this point? I mean his fan base depends on parents, no high school kid would ever admit to liking him or going to his concerts, so it’s tweens and I can’t imagine parents agreeing to pay that little jerk another dime. He’s pretty much destroyed his career in less than a year. I don’t see him being embraced by the rap buying and those attending rap concerts, does anyone think urban youth are going to become justin beiber fans, beliebers if you will LOL I sure don’t. I’m trying to figure out why he’s back in LA when he fled to Hotlanta? Don’t they want him either? He needs to leave Cali as soon as humanly possible, he’s really not wanted here.
