Wow. A few days ago, VH1 finally released – with embed! – the compiled, full-length trailer for LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian’s show. Many of you have already seen these clips when they were broken up into 30-second long videos that only a handful of sites had access to. I guess VH1 has realized that they better start promoting this thing, because it’s going to be must-watch trainwreck television. Within seconds of the trailer, LeAnn and Eddie are already bitching about Brandi Glanville, and it’s not in a cutesy “take my ex-wife, please!” way. They are both obsessed with maligning Brandi. They are both obsessed with themselves too. It’s all very sad. Here’s the trailer:

A few notes… some of you have said that their “home” in this series isn’t even their house, that VH1 rented them a space to film in. I don’t know why. Also, didn’t LeAnn and Eddie put up some huge fight about Brandi being able to use Mason and Jake even in periphery taping? And then Mason and Jake are seen in this VH1 reality show. Ugh.
Anyway, the whole thing just seems like a really sad venture. I’m sure it will be terrible on an epic level. The whole “reason” to do this show was to show the “haters” how wrong they are about LeAnn and Eddie’s love, but the result is going to be a new round of hate.

I’m torn. It’s like they’re making the show to prove how they’re so normal, they’re just like us! But what they actually do is make is dislike them more. I can’t decide whether to watch or whether I already dislike them enough.
Pleas reconsider! Watching this show will put money in Leann’s pocket and will give Leann and Eddie a continuing platform to taunt and insult the mother of his children and to exploit the children themselves.
You can always get clips and excerpts from gossip and pop culture blogs, but directly watching this show only hurts Mason and Jake.

That’s why Brandi needs a raise…this is really all about her….Leann and Ediot have nothing else in common.
I KNOW. This is why I can’t really be mad at Brandi for all that long. I mean, just imagine the crap that she goes through on a daily basis–because of Leann and Eddie. I mean, she lost a few friends to Leann. Her kids are gone half the time. She had to go out and hustle, because her ex wasn’t paying his child support, and in fact, made her pay some of it back. And she’s got to navigate dating in her forties–which is hard, even if you just want a casual relationship.
And on top of all that, she’s got some crazy woman who acts like it’s HER fault that she and Eddie were married when they met. I’d drink as much as I could if I was Brandi too.
Their entire marriage, their thing is about Brandi. It’s not about each other. It’s about Brandi. It was especially telling–that clip when Leann punched Eddie in the arm, because Brandi texted him. I could see her doing that if Eddie and Brandi didn’t have ANY kids–but they have two kids together. It’s necessary to be in contact when you have kids.

Yep, I feel the same. For a while I was annoyed at Brandi and her drunken foolishness, but as we get closer and closer to this VH1 sh*t show, I’m REALLY beginning to understand now how unhinged Leann is when it comes to Brandi. I’ve said the same thing as you, it makes NO sense why Leann would hate Brandi so much – after all, Leann was the one who cheated with Eddiot and broke up that family, then carried on about it for years to the media and on Twitter. Brandi has done nothing to her, and when Leann keeps saying that the show will finally prove how evil Brandi really is….. WTF is all I say to that. The clips so far that I’ve seen just show Leann unhealthily obsessing over a woman she doesn’t even know! It makes LEANN look even worse (and how the hell is that even possible?!). My prediction is that this show is going to tank what little credibility Leann has left and I wouldn’t be surprised if Eddiot finally does leave her after the show finishes airing.

LeAnn Rimes is my nightmare worst case scenario, now I’m a mother, of the kind of woman my husband might shack up with – you know, I can stand a lot, but to end up forced to share my life with a Rimes?! She hates her because she is a controlling narcissistic former child star. She wants what she wants no matter who she has to hurt and Brandi challenged her and didn’t fall off the face of the Earth and just easily step aside to let Leann completely take over her life. She can’t control Brandi and the way that Brandi disrupts Leann’s narrative. Brandi will always probably be Leann’s main #1 focus of hatred because she just simply exists. She’s made it completely clear how immature and controlling she is. She’s stated many times she will do things her way, how she wants it, it’s her life and there’s nothing to respect about Brandi as their mother. Now just imagine how all of that must manifest when trying to deal with her in a coparenting situation? Sounds like a total nightmare.

Well, I feel like I’m about to fail math (didn’t understand ANYTHING from the last two chapters), french (lost cause, I am horrible in it, despite doing three years of it), and chemistry (just generally bad at it anyway….)….so I’m not feeling too well right now. Ugh, ignore my complaining…..

I did poorly in math in grades 11 and 12, had a horrible math teacher who knew I was struggling and he didn’t give a sh*t (actually purposely humiliated me in class one day, I failed an exam and he made sure to tell the whole class). I was so terrified of math after that, that it took me 3 years after high school to go to university. Don’t be like me! Seek out help if you need it! And keep positive and tell yourself you CAN do it.

Last two chapters are trigonometry–my dad was trying to help me, and even HE was confused (with how the book put it, and my teacher, while a good teacher, can’t help me understand this crap long enough to take a test)–and he works with it every single day.
We’ll see–I’ll probably have to take the last semester of math again.
I just wish it wasn’t required that we learn math or science in HS. Then I’d be good (except for maybe french–I can read it, but ask me to replace pronouns with the nouns, or something like that, and I’m lost).

Those initial leaks may have been to get ideas on how to package this semi-reality shambles of a show. It seems the new focus is on having a baby — which has been rehashed how many times?
Bottom line, I think they are attempting to make this a more sympathetic (or perhaps pathetic) struggle of this ‘hard working’ budget celebrity couple. I doubt it will make it past a first season, but given the garbage that passes for television entertainment these days, who knows. These two egomaniacs might have a chance after all!
There will be no 2nd season, that’s for sure as they could barely get 6 half hr. shows out of this mess as it is.

I’m more interested in the fact that he said they fell in love. HA! They did not fall in love–well, he fell in love with her $$$, and Leann fell in love with his wandering dong.
But the thing is–Leann is not the ‘reason’ why they got divorced. From what I remember from previous posts (and someone correct me if I’m wrong), but in Brandi’s book, she basically said that she agreed to give it one more chance, after he was caught with Leann (because he said she was the only one)—then that other chick, Scheana started talking, and so Brandi kicked Eddie out.
I’m sure that’s why Leann is so focused on Brandi–because she wasn’t even the MAIN side piece—she was just the richest one (and the only one dumb enough to take in a lazy, wondering dong).
I honestly think he is such a narcissist he couldn’t even conceive of those ramification. Seriously. Because in his mind, he’s a great dad (as B once said), he’s the victim in the triangle, he’s done no wrong, he deserves all LeMann’s money and toys. Yeah, I think that she just likes the *idea* of kids, and plus–an infertility struggle? That’ll give her some positive pr–that she really needs.
But I think that she’s like a lot of people who think having a kid would be fun and games all the time. She only has the two boys a few days a week, and all she does is spoil them (from what I’ve seen)—make her house, the ‘fun’ house. So they won’t want to leave (especially when they were younger). But that’s all nice when you’ve only got them for a few days, to a week at a time, and you’re gone some of that time–for interviews, concerts, etc.

I was going to ask something similar. I hope she has consulted lawyers for this but I would think she would be due some type of compensation since she seems to be the topic of their show. Plus they are using her kids which wasnt allowed according to the custody agreement.
I have no faith in BG’s intelligence but I hope one of her friends or someone tells her to get legal council on this, btn using her as a story line and using the boys, she’s got to be due some money for that.

If I was Brandi, I would let them. I will say Brandi is a lot of things–immature, ignorant, etc–but she doesn’t come off as someone who is fake. Even when she does talk about Eddie/Leann, she doesn’t come off as someone who obsesses about them all the time. I can’t even remember WHAT she’s said about them (and I generally have a good memory about this kind of stuff), but that she’s talked about them recently–this year/last year. I would take Brandi over Leann/Eddie–just make her take some college classes or something.

actually LR was pulled out of school in 7th grade, barely out of elementary school.
She may have been home schooled here n there but Im sure if she actually graduated it would have been in past articles about her but nope, nothing past the 7th grade, which is about where her maturity and mentality levels are.
Brandi has ragged about them on the RHOBH show and in her books. What leg does she have to stand on to stop them from mentioning her? She probably loves it because it keeps her in the spotlight while in off-season and gives her some necessary and much-needed sympathy since she has lost a lot of popularity on the RHOBH with fans over her treatment of fan favorite Lisa Vanderpump.
I would think if they use her, as if she’s a background character, without her consent, that she’d have a legitimate legal defense. Her mentioning them on her show has been her mentioning her experience and opinion. But on their show, if they use her as a plot device, (like say using a voice actor on the phone or something but made for the audience to think it’s really her in real time) it kinda seems like she could complain about that. See, this goes back to what I was saying about them muddying the lines of whether this is reality or not as a defense for things.
She is SOOOOOO transparent. She loves the pap’s attention. We can’t prove she calls them, but we can prove she tries to dress for them – notice I said “tries” not succeeds. I can’t watch the trailer and I won’t watch the show. I like a good trainwreck as much as the next person, but I cannot allow myself to support them in any way even indirectly. I will not!

Their careers are literally in shreds and after saying anyone doing a reality show is fake, desperate and pathetic, have filmed one themselves. So are they admitting to being desperate and pathetic, or are they special? LeAnn has a really unattractive face now and the camera doesn’t do her any favours. Eddie’s probably still angry she kicked him out and LeAnn has to live with the fact that he’s with her for her money, that the majority of the public sees he doesn’t love her and that he’d probably still be with Brandi if LeAnn hadn’t outed him and forced the issue. They are both equally disgusting people and I don’t believe either are truly happy for a second.
Those prison gray sheets and pretending to be naked in bed — I’m not sure I could stand to watch it on a large TV screen. It was challenging enough to watch 40 second snippets on a smaller PC screen.
I also find it a bit odd that the house shown in the clips is NOTHING like the fiesta themed bargain house where they actually reside. The filming location home has very sleek, modern lines and is mostly glass.
Maybe a glass house and prison gray sheets are some type of subliminal messages. 🙂
That glass house looks so stark and sterile. I don’t like LeAnn’s decor, but filming in a house used for numerous other reality shows, makes any claim of realism pointless. The grey sheets are really masculine looking and her lying there in full makeup, with that unfortunate face and the baby talking with the voice of a 50 year old, chain smoking alcoholic, distracted me from the pretend nudity. She tries so hard to be sexy and let everyone know she and Eddie are “practicing” making a baby, it kind of makes me think that the opposite is true. He actually seems really disinterested in her, unless he’s been drinking.

I don’t believe she would carry a baby even if she could. She would pay someone else, cuz Ediot cheated on Brandi while she was pregnant with Jake. So far she’s described it as a reality show, a scripted reality show, a satire, then a docu-com. Do you think she’s saying this because it’s a mess and even she doesn’t know how to describe it? Or they’re purposefully changing it all the time so that they can leave it vague, and have deniability about its truthiness when it gets slammed? I’m undecided. They’re not very smart, either one of them, so I’m leaning the most towards the former.
She’s just always trying to elevate it past a scuzzy reality show like “the ex” does, something she said she would never do. So she’s eating crow and has to describe it differently because she’s “up here,” a real celeb with a career and talent, and Brandi is “down here,” a sleezy ex-wife who never evah tells the truth about them. LOL How can you not see the difference in their reality show from all the other reality shows? Leann is no typical reality star who is on the downward slide of their career like many others are. She’s a stah, dahling, who just wants to work with her husband because they hate being apart.

Her voice always shocks me. She used to have a softer, prettier speaking voice with traces of a Southern accent still not too many years ago. Now she sounds like a hard-living, cigarette-smoking, 40-year-old woman that never lived in the South. Thank God, Southern celebs like Andie McDowell kept their soft, pretty voices with a bit of their Southern roots still present in their accent..
Leann left the south when she was thirteen, to live and party in L.A. with her mom’s approval. That’s when Belinda used Leann as a pawn in her own divorce by letting Leann have free reign to do as she pleased. So Belinda let adult men move into their house and gave Leann an open bank account for alcohol and drugs and lavish presents for the men. It all come out when Leann and Belinda tried to sue her dad, and he countersued them.
The transcripts of that trial are eye opening and portray a young Leann exactly as she is today: ignorant, spoiled, mean spirited, manipulative, narcissistic, slutty and a liar.
It’s also when (allegedly) Leann contracted her own STD’s and became sterile, after one too many nights of partying at the Playboy mansion. This “sweet southern good girl” has been an act Leann’s been doing since she was thirteen.
Her shorts were non-existent in the first few moments of the trailer. If you didn’t see the tiny band of denim at the top of her hip, you might think she was pants less. It was also painstakingly obvious how obsessed with the paparazzi these two are during the 3min 21secs of film.
Furthermore, even if they were destined soul mates who had to make the excruciating decision to each end their marriages so they could be with one another, why in the world would you want to keep bringing it up after all these years. Maybe it’s just me but I wouldn’t be proud of that particular moment in my life because of the hurt it caused so many people. And I damn sure wouldn’t highlight it on my reality TV show. Again, maybe they were soul mates but no wants to hear about your fairy tale romance bullish*t that left destruction in it’s path. Keep that story to yourself.

The trailer for Leann’s reality show wasn’t released today. It was released last week when she was doing promotions for the reality show during the CMA Fest Fan Fair event on Thursday. The trailer was out 6 days before it finally got noticed by the press. Very telling. If Leann is as popular as she and VH1 proclaim, why did it take 6 days for the rest of the media to notice that her reality show had an official trailer?

Just watching them post pictures of the boys on their show like they’re daring Brandi to do something about it, their general mean spiritedness and thinking that they’re totally adorable- their venom toward a woman whose life they tried to destroy and are annoyed they didn’t succeed- plus their painful stupidity on camera- I’m not watching and I hope no one else does, either. If Leann were smart she would have turned the CRAZY UP over the past few months, to attract attention. No one cares now. I was totally embroiled in the entire drama fest last fall and now it/she bores me to tears. The show will suck, anyways.
LeAnn used to be a talented singer. Why would she give up her singing career to do a low-life reality show? Is it to ensure that Eddie has work? Is this the only work he can get? I just don’t get why a woman with her talent would give it all up to focus on a reality show? Reality shows are for people who can’t do anything else. Is she so obsessed with bashing Brandi that she has to come up with a forum (reality show) to do it? Obviously she doesn’t have a manager or PR person to tell her she’s focusing on the wrong things.
I’m sure she does have a manager and/or PR person but she wouldn’t listen to anything anyone advises her to do or not do as she has always done whatever she wants. We can blame her biomom for a lot of what LeAss is as she put her money-making little princess up on a pedestal as “America’s sweetheart” and I’m sure she has enjoyed the money her crazy daughter has brought into her life. LeAss has always put herself first and to he** with anyone else. Doesn’t matter who got in her way or who got hurt, LeAss manipulates people and situations to get what she wants. Period!

I think vh1 is counting on the haters to watch it. Lord knows neither her nor Eddie have more than a handful of fans. I just can’t with either one of them. I like to read the dirt on her and respond but I literally cannot stand to listen to her speak or watch how she acts so repulsively. And the same for him and his fake “in love” bit. That man isn’t in love with anybody but himself. Especially not Leann, when every pic you see of them that is not staged he is walking a mile ahead of her and acting like he isn’t even with her or they appear to be miserable. Why would anybody watch this farce of a show? Seeing the time slot they stuck it in that Leann claims is “prime time” for vh1 viewers I don’t think they plan on it doing well. I still say Leann had to pay Eddie acting fees to participate!! I feel so bad for Brandi having to tolerate these two creeps.

I can’t see this where I am but I saw the last promo clip, where LeAnn was sitting by the pool with a couple of paid actresses pretending to be her friends and a cute little baby that she manhandled for a while.
She came across as unpleasant and snooty nosed with not an ounce of charm or hospitality about her. Jayna on here always talks about how she used to talk in a lovely, Southern accent and now she sounds hard and raspy and it’s true. In old clips, she looks girlish and sweet and in love. Now she presents as aggressively narcissistic.
I used to be soooo addicted to these people but they really are very very boring and very very self absorbed. I am tired of them.
