i love charlie day and jason bateman.

    • Erinn says:

I will watch anything JUST for Charlie. I’m in love with him haha

    • Kiddo says:

Me too, weird sort of crushes.

    • Ash says:

Me too! I’m glad I’m not the only one.

    • Ag says:

i love him on “it’s always sunny…” he’s the only one with ANY empathy out of all those characters. and him being illiterate really cracks me up, as wrong as i know it is.

      • doofus says:

love that show. the characters (minus charlie) are all totally amoral, depraved people so you don’t feel bad when their plans (predictably) go awry and wind up biting them HARD in the rear end. In fact, you want to laugh at their misfortune (that they brought on themselves).

      • Erinn says:

ahahah, I woke up the other day to “denim chicken” drawn on the whiteboard at home. I just want to teach Charlie Kelley to read, and make him real food haha. I quote the Kitten Mittens thing far too often as well.

    • mytbean says:

Yup – Charlie Day is fantastic. I think I’ve been crushing on him ever since I learned that the waitress (Mary Elizabeth Ellis) in Always Sunny is his real world wife. :http://www.celebritybabyscoop.com/files/2011/07/charlie-day-baby-960×677.jpg 🙂

  2. chloeee says:

Same bosses except for one, right? Anyways I think that actually looks funny

    • word says:

I think it looks funny too. The first one was really good plus Jason Bateman can do no wrong in my book…his movies are always enjoyable.

  3. Talie says:

I can’t believe they released that… like, it looks BAD.

  4. Nicolette says:

Just saw the original for the first time last week and I loved it. I’ll be seeing this one as well.

    • Chris says:

I really enjoyed it too, having bought it to see/worship Colin Farrell, whom I thought hysterically funny. (Must say the Aniston storyline made me v. uncomfortable…..it wouldn’t have been acceptable with switched genders, but hey ho)
Loads of blink-and-you’ll-miss-it cleverness….and the throwaway ‘Great Gatsby’ retort was terrific! I’ll watch this new one too, those guys were great, especially coked up in the car 😉

      • Amy says:

Haha oh the car scene is the best!! My husband and I watch that bit over and over on you tube when we need a good laugh 😉

“They call me Stacey, that’s not my name” hehehe

  5. Mia4S says:

Who are the bosses? The story has been online for like a year. Waltz steals their startup company so they kidnap his son (Pine). Is there some mystery? What’s with the oblivious laineygossip story?

  6. sassy says:

Christoph Waltz is in it. Good enough for me.

  7. Kiddo says:

I loved the Mick Jagger/Monty Python skit. At least the dude has a sense of humor.

  8. Jackson says:

Trailer looks just like I expected it to look, more of the same. So glad Kevin Spacey deigned to elevate this movie with his presence.

  9. Peppa says:

I only saw the first one because of Charlie Day, Kevin Spacey and Jason Bateman. I thought Jamie Foxx was pretty funny too. I wish he would do more comedic roles. I can’t watch Aniston in a movie, something about her voice irks me. I wish she wasn’t in this one too.

I was wondering if you guys were going to cover that Man vs Food guy going off on Instagram. My husband loved that show, and I probably saw every episode. I did not think he was capable of going off like that. Telling people to kill themselves? Calling people the c-word? Maybe a teenager, but not an adult man.

    • Steph says:

I saw that on Buzzfeed I think. He went nuts! I don’t understand why these celebrities or media personalities don’t realize that they should just turn the other cheek. And I couldn’t believe he actually suggested suicide to one follower. What a creep!

    • word says:

Yeah I used to watch that show as well. I wonder what made him say such horrible things? He now lost his show. I’m not sure how the show would have worked after him losing so much weight anyways.

  10. Lydia says:

I really enjoyed the first one, Charlie was hilarious (“two…three crimes!”) and I’ll see this for sure. Jennifer Aniston was so funny in the first, I hope she has a big part in the second.

    • springingforward says:

I thought it stunk, but then movies aren’t as good in the last 5 years as they once were.
It quite literally pains me to sit through Aniston’s scenes in her ensemble movies.
I can’t do it any more. Rachel is played out. (At least she had a dark wig for that first Horrible Bosses movie)

      • doofus says:

I know a lot of people say she plays Rachel in everything, but I have to disagree.

I didn’t see Rachel at ALL in her role in Horrible Bosses, and ditto for the few other movies I’ve seen her in.

in fact, I watched Friends the other night (seems it’s ALWAYS on some channel, somewhere…) and sort of “refreshed my memory” of what the Rachel character was and I just don’t see it. I mean, she’s not a GREAT actress, but I think she’s a decent comedic one.

to each his own, I guess.

      • Kate says:

Yeah, I agree Doofus. No, she’s not the most versatile actor, but just because someone isn’t DDL or Gary Oldman doesn’t mean they’re just playing the same character over and over. Some actors are chameleons, some excel within a certain framework. Aniston isn’t a great actress, but she’s found a niche and she’s good at what she does. She’s made some crappy films, but she’s never been the problem. And she seems to be choosing better projects these days.

Maybe it’s being on such a long running TV show, people just can’t see the actors as another character. I constantly see people saying Matthew Perry is just Chandler in every project he does, but I didn’t see even a hint of that in Studio 60 or The Good Wife or any of the more dramatic films he’s made.

I’m not sure why she get’s this complaint so much. I mean, you could say the same thing about the three leads of this film. Or George Clooney. Or 80% of Hollywood really. Most actors play the same sort of person dozens of times in their career, either because that’s all their range extends to or because they’ve gotten stuck in that box. But playing the same sort of person doesn’t mean playing the same person.

    • Alice.H says:

Spot on Doofus. I find her funny, especially if there’s a half decent script. She has impeccable timing. I’m not seeing Rachel either. I think her and Bateman have good chemistry too.

  11. Boodiba says:

This post has reminded me I need to watch the Jason bateman spelling bee movie…

  12. db says:

I’d probably need rubber gloves and tongs, but I would read tila’s book — you just know it’ll be a skankfest

  13. TheRealMaya says:

What a crap trailer – instead of getting people to watch this movie it has put them off.

There are only two reasons why I might watch it and that’s the two Chris’s (Pine & Waltz).

The others are waste of space. Jennifer will never be sexy no matter what she does so she ruined this character. She is a good comedy actress but sexy she is not.

Plus I find is kind of sad that after 2 decades in the industry she has to strip off her clothes to get attention and roles. As a famous critic once said – to strip off on your 20s in tradition but to do it in your 40s and after been in the industry for so long – is called desperation.

PS: I know she is wearing a wig but this colour suits her so much better than the blonde fried look she has had for the past decade.

  14. TheCountess says:

The original “Horrible Bosses” was funny for about an hour. The rest was dreadful. I’ll be skipping the sequel.

  15. word says:

Scott Disick has a lot of requests…but he doesn’t get to keep those things right? It’s just for the show…he has to make it seem as if he’s richer than he is. Like we are stupid.

  16. Josefa says:

I’d watch this movie online or catch it on TV. The first one wasn’t hilarious, but it was watchable (which is MUCH more than I can say about most comedies lately). I’m not paying to watch it, though. I’m not taking the risk of losing money on a bad comedy. With every other genre, you can at least laugh at how terrible the movie is. A bad comedy is just an excrutiating (sp?) series of trite and unfunny jokes.

  17. Camille (The Original) says:

Holy crap that looks bad. Won’t be watching.

  18. Amberica says:

Amberica says this is her favorite movie: What is Casablanca?
This is her actual favorite movie: What is Horrible Bosses?
Needless to say, I’ll be watching it.

  19. Jaime says:

I think the Spacey scene was horrible but they were trying to show the media “hey we got Kevin Spacey.” Next voice you hear is Jamie Fox because he is a big draw in the movie industry and loved by so many people but I question how much of a roll do Jamie actually have in this movie, I’m sure the word will get out fast on that. The guys are carrying this movie for sure. Sorry but this trailer did not convince me at all. The scene with Aniston was a huge turn off.
Bottom line the trailer is way too desperate and need to line up a better one real fast. I don’t believe this movie will make as much money as the last one.
