Octomom: I would have liked to be on Oprah, foreclosure ‘up to my mom’

wenn5252117
US Weekly has an exclusive interview with Octuplet mom Nadya Suleman. It sounds like they were questions a paparazzo asked her on her way out of the house. Suleman’s quick answers are still revealing. She comes across better than she has in previous interviews, which is likely due to the fact that you can’t hear or see her and she doesn’t have much time to incriminate herself. She still manages to contradict previous statements she’s given. She calls the supposed single sperm donor for all her children, “David Solomon,” an “amazing friend,” although she told Hello! Magazine she only talks to the guy once a year. Reports that she is in love with him are false, she claims.

Another comment Suleman makes is that her mom will “probably lose” the house, and that the foreclosure payments are up to her. She says she’s looking for a place of her own and that it is not likely her mother will come with her:

Us: Is everyone OK? There are reports that your home is in foreclosure.
Suleman: Yeah, [mom Angela] will probably lose it. I mean, that’s up to my mom. She’s dealing with that. I’m looking for my own place.

Us: Will you live with your mom?
S: No. She doesn’t want to live with me. I really shouldn’t be talking to you at all.

Us: I saw your dad gave an interview to Oprah. Why didn’t you?
S: I really wish he didn’t. I would have liked to go on Oprah — since her audience is mainly female, I think it would have heightened things so much more. You know, it would have been way more emotional. Especially if what I said was taken out of true meaning. So, I didn’t think going on would be good for me.

Us: Are you moving into the multi-million dollar home that’s been all over the Internet?
S: No. That was just for the interviews.

Us: How was it talking to Dr. Phil?
S: He was surprisingly very nice and fair, but I really shouldn’t be talking to you.

Us: Have you spoken to David Solomon [the sperm donor for your 14 children]?
S: Look, I don’t talk about him. I want to protect his privacy.

Us: It’s being reported you two met at your job at Metropolitan Hospital.
S: I haven’t spoken to him at all.

Us: Report say he’s handsome. Are you guys planning a big reveal together?
S: I will say this. We were friends. He is an amazing friend. Strictly platonic, all the lies saying I am so in love and wanted him to leave his wife written in the National Enquirer are totally false.

Us: If you wanted this privacy, then why did you write his name on the birth certificates?
S: Actually I wasn’t going to, but the nurses kept pressing me on it. So, I did, but then afterwards, I thought I shouldn’t have done that. I didn’t even know his birthdate. I just guessed. Then I started leaving it blank.

Us: I saw you went shopping at M.A.C. the other day. Must be nice to get out and break away from your regular routine.
S: Yes, I took my daughter for a girls’ day out and needed some lip gloss and stopped by M.A.C. But, they gave me the wrong color. Everyone started approaching me in the store asking me how I was going to afford my kids and stuff. Some were really nice.

Was Octomom even invited on Oprah?
If Suleman wanted to go on Oprah, I wonder if she wasn’t invited or if she declined. You can’t tell from the weasel way she words he answer if she said no to Oprah or if she wasn’t asked. On one hand she says she would have been an amazing guest but at the end she tries to insinuate she turned Oprah down without actually saying that. “I would have liked to go on Oprah… it would have been way more emotional… I didn’t think going on would be good for me.” My guess is that Oprah wanted to cover the story but realized the actual Octomom was way too polarizing a person and invited her dad instead. Oprah probably didn’t want to court that kind of controversy by featuring Nadya despite the anticipated ratings.

It seems unfair that Nadya would let her mother lose the house she gave her to live in with her children, especially if Nadya has money coming in now from interviews and picture licensing. According to MSNBC’s The Scoop, it is Nadya’s mother Angela who is working out the deals for licensing for the family photos. Maybe Angela is making some money from this sad affair after all. One report has TMZ paying $22,000 just for the pregnant with octuplets photo. It’s possible that Angela won’t lose the home in which she raised her grandchildren, but it also sounds like she doesn’t want to stay there and wants tp start fresh somewhere new.

Nadya doesn’t seem to mind if her children lose their primary caregiver. She’ll just keep justifying everything in her mind, spending and living how she wants and never noticing the state of her children’s chaotic lives. Except now she has a lot more people enabling her to live that way instead of just her parents.

Here is Nadya Suleman getting Starbucks yesterday after she returns home from the hospital, where she spent five hours with her premature octuplets. One thing I noticed from these photos is that Octomom’s toenails are painted. Of course they are.

    More of “I want – I deserve – Gimme”

And her toenails are the first thing I noticed too.

  2. lurker says:

Of course she wanted to go on Oprah, you know, because it would have “heightened things so much more” and all (cha-ching runs through my mind about now). And if she really shouldn’t have been talking to them, why does she keep answering questions? (That was a rhetorical question – I already know the answer.) I did notice that she has come up with an answer to the multiple listed birth dates of her sperm donor though.
I wonder if she Googles herself 10 times a day like Lily Allen does.

  3. BellaB says:

I checked out her toenails too, to see just how well she is maintaining herself.
For the record, her fake nails are not good for her EIGHT premature babies. There have been studies done about germs and fake nails. Most hospitals have rules that nurses can’t have nails like that OR wear anything other than a plain band to prevent spreading of germs in the NICU. You have to scrub for 2 minutes before you can begin patient care—parents have to scrub too.

  4. sarah says:

i noticed that even when she was “hiding” her face, she couldnt stop grinning. I think she is reveling in the attention of the media.
It seams to me that she insatiably craves attention- her parents seem to be aware of this and her mother in particular seems to have given up. I think her desire for so many children stems from this- she wants attention on a scale that is pretty much unachievable without celebrity.

  5. Lina says:

Why are the paparazzi still taking her picture? I can only imagine when the babies go home. It’s bad enough to be living in a house with a mother who is mentally unstable then add having the paps follow you and your siblings around for the rest of your life (or when their mom’s 15mins of fame runs out).

  6. mojoman says:

How much you want to bet once the babies are home, she will still be out in the streets/getting deals & publicity plus maybe extra nip & tuck. And guess who will take care of them kids?

  7. Candi says:

I love how she says she won’t help her mother with her house. (Doubtful that she can, but she is out shopping and grooming an awful lot.) What a BURN… Her parents have lost almost 2 houses and their lives supporting her and all she can say is (I don’t care about her house I’m looking for my own.)

    Come on lady…

  8. MomInNH says:

I can’t be the only person to see a striking resemblence to one miss Heidi Fleiss, am I???

  9. Flour says:

I remember when I was really poor and my home was on the block and had a bunch of babies that needed looking after, I went and had my toenails done and bought me some starbucks coffee. Because, c’mon, its the little things in life that are so important. Right? And what’s a pedicure and some coffee? 30 bucks? 40 with a nice tip? That’s only groceries for a few of them. This is me time and that’s so important. We can always eat again tomorrow.

  10. Enonymous says:

AWWW look at her, she is so happy from all the media attention that she is getting. Boy, I would love to see her reaction when she realizes that her 15 minutes of fame is OVER and she finally understands that she really has to take care all those 14 kids all by her self. Reality will really hit her then like a tonne of bricks because she looks like she still has her head in the clouds at the moment.

Well, good luck to her and her kids. They are going to need it.

  11. Ash says:

    BellaB,

You are dead on about the fake nails. My daughter was born a preemie and not one nurse on the NICU unit had them. I used to get mine done as well, but stopped pretty soon into my pregnancy. I know they say the fumes are supposed to be ok, but I didn’t want to take any chances.

What’s wrong with hospital coffee? Why the need for a $5 cup of Starbucks? And I love how she slants her comments about her trip to M.A.C. She makes it sound as though her daughters were dying for some mother/daughter time so she took them out. And she just happened to need lip gloss. Again, what’s wrong with $3 lipgloss? If you can afford it, that’s one thing. She obviously can’t.

And she only spent 5 hours? I wonder how much time total she has spent with the newborns. Our daughter was in the NICU for 3 months, and even though it was the most emotionally grueling experience I have ever been through (not to mention my dad passed 4 days after her birth) I still would spend nights there. I couldn’t get enough of her and her doctors even said they believed a parent’s love helped give preemies their strength.

I really do believe she is infatuated with the idea of being pregnant and the attention that comes with it. It’s after having the birth that she could care less about.

  12. voodoobetty says:

As much as she cherishes the idea of being a mother its just appalling how she treats her own mother who has been supporting her through her insanity. “she will probably lose it (her home). Thats up to her”. What a disgusting human being.

  13. Faye says:

nothing really surprises me with this woman…to turn your back on your mother who helped raise her children…planning to buy a 1 million dollar home…she is a pathetic excuse for a human being and did all of this just for her own personal gain without regard to the effect on the children, her family, I do not think anyone should be taking her picture or allow her on Oprah , enabling her really bad decisions….life hey….become famous by doing things that are completely wrong…is that not what serial killers and psycotic people do….she fits right in that catagory…mentally unstable.

  14. Baholicious says:

I understand the need to do nice little things for oneself when a new mom. It’s important to look after yourself and treat yourself to small indulgences after a baby because there is so little time for yourself.

Given the woman’s mental state, the pedicure is the least of the issues people should be remarking about. That’s just nit-picking.

The fake nails however are a valid concern. Fake or real, having long nails when one is the caregiver of a baby is just reckless.

  15. Catlady says:

This nutbar bitch is unbelievable. Her mom is, what, about 24K behind in mortgage payments (because of this ungrateful sleaze of a daughter) and she has made way more than that from interviews, etc. She should use some of that money to make sure her mom’s mortgage payments are current, but it seems her manicurist means more to her…

  16. Cari says:

Baho, ITA it is important to take time for yourself when you become a mom. And I agree with Sarah’s comment about her grinning while “hiding” her face in these pictures. She looks as though she couldn’t be happier to have her pic taken.

I shudder to think how these kids will survive with a narcissistic mother such as she is. And where will they be in 5-10 years?

  17. Carrie says:

Sure she’s got time to go and get a pedicure. Why wouldn’t she? She’s only got 14 kids to look after. Piece of cake.

  18. Jess says:

“I shudder to think how these kids will survive with a narcissistic mother such as she is. And where will they be in 5-10 years?”

Honestly? Probably in the system. This woman had no business breeding.

China’s one-kid rule is looking better more and more each day. I’m typically not one to have the government all up in my business, but something DOES have to be done here. The generations we’re creating aren’t going to have a planet to call home at the rate that we continue to rape it. I fear for a time when we’ll have no trees or fields because we’ll have run out of space. People like this woman (and many others) don’t consider any of that for their children. That’s really sad.

  19. YoMomma says:

I’m really tired of her. I keep waiting to read in a few months: “Octomommy pregnant AGAIN!”

  20. Leo P says:

Dear God, YoMomma, I hope that never passes!

That’s my biggest deterrent where donating any money to her is concerned – instead of helping out her poor children, she’d use it to fund more cosmetic surgeries or, God forbid, more in vitro treatments.

  21. Victoria says:

Her mother is loosing the house because of her! Im SURE she has some money she can throw her moms way. Oh this woman is HORRIBLE! What a JERK! She is nausiating! Im going to start calling her “Nausea Sulmon”.

  22. Chiara says:

The only victims I believe in this situation are the children.

Mom made a choice to stay, didn’t contact CPS or SS. Dad plays the victim, my daughter needs help, “I own a large home but won’t disclose location.”

Geraldo referred to her as someone who did this with the deliberate intent to exploit, and she’ll continue to bring in the money, she’s tabloid gold.

Dr. Robbie Ludwig referred to her as a possible, borderline personality. If so, unlikely she’ll seek treatment.

Disappointing to see this woman rewarded for her behavior.

  23. Sunny says:

I’m probably the only person in the world who is neutral on this story, but I think it’s very interesting to note the outrage over her having the children. Especially since so many calling for her head on a pike are conservative, “pro-life” types.
I love their contortions that all but omit the word abortion, they think she should have had one, but admitting it makes crap of their philosophy. Maybe she shouldn’t have done it, but the kids are here now, and the good christians need to remember their instruction to ‘not judge’, ‘have mercy’, and ‘help the needy’.
Convenient how they dump all that when it suits them.

  24. Jess says:

    Sunny:

I agree with you completely. I went to a small college, and I know of several girls who had abortions. Just so happens they were also members of Catholic Campus Ministry and the college’s anti-abortion group.

If there is anything I despise more than people who aimlessly breed, it’s also those who are two-faced hypocrites who spout one thing and do the complete opposite.

  25. Jammy says:

    Ash,

Like you my kids were born a preemie too and needed to stay in NICU for around 3 months. I am apalled everytime I see or or hear about octomom. I had just 2 kids in NICU and I tried to be there all my waking hours and still it seemed that wasn’t enough time. All Nicu staff said that a mothers touch does wonders for Preemie babes. I wonder if Octomom is is even giving each of them an hour of daily time. If only this woman cared more for the kids than her 15 mins of fame.

Its awful that about the nails and stuff to. I was specifically told by the nurses to keep the nails short and had to scrub the hell out of my hands. The fact that she has her nails done ….got a whole TV crew in NICU to film her 8 kids. She is not only compromising her babies health but other babies unfortunate enough to sahre the same NICU.

  26. Ned says:

    Again, where are child services?
The authorities have to think about the children.

This woman seems to have huge mental problems and she is completely self-centered.

Part of the problem is that her parents always helped her endlessly, and she never had to pay the price of her actions, but they are not the ones to blame.

I also suspect she has defrauded and “played the system” in the past.

I think her finances should be under investigation ASAP.

  27. anastasiabeaverhausen says:

The toenails don’t bother me so much since she could have done the painting herself. I’m a tightwad and only go get a professional pedicure maybe once a year. Otherwise I do it at home. However, I don’t have six kids at home, so I don’t see how she had the chance to even paint them herself!

The Starbucks bugs, though. That stuff is EXPENSIVE. Everyone who advises people on how to save money says to cut that crap out first, because it adds up to big bucks in no time. Girlfriend doesn’t have a penny to spare on five dollar lattes.

Just wait till she has a houseload of teenagers. Then she’ll REALLY be regretting it. I just have one teenager (a girl) and whew, they’re expensive. Even when you are keeping the costs down! Their clothes are bigger and their shoes are bigger and all the different things for school and activities tends to be more expensive than when they are little. It’s amazing.

I can’t imagine paying for 14 teenagers’ expenses. Mine does all sorts of chores around the house just to earn her allowance, too.

  28. anastasiabeaverhausen says:

BTW, I saw mention in this thread of borderline personality disorder and narcissism.

Let me tell you, I was “raised” by a woman who suffers from both and it was hell on earth. Hell. On. Earth. And she only had two kids (thank God). My brother and I were so damn messed up by her, it took years and years of counseling just to get us to be normal regular fully functioning people. She was horribly abusive and neglectful our entire lives. It’s amazing we survived her, to be quite honest.

I haven’t had anything to do with her in over a decade, for my own sanity. She’s still as insane as ever, maybe worse.

IF this woman has even one of those issues, then God help her kids. It’s a very hard thing to survive.

  29. lrm says:

    Okay,’girl’s day out’?
    Another Angelina copy example?
God-I am SO creeped out by her obvious attempts at imitating her!!! Even her mannerisms and soft,no teeth showing smile-she is so obviously emulating her-i know this has been talked about, but the more I read about her [and i haven’t even watched a video, only seen pics!]the more creeped out I am by that part.
So,yea, girl time out,and ‘time to be present with each child’-these are things Brangelina has talked about or done.
Oh,this woman is so ill,off her rocker. All jokes aside, seriously she needs help. I doubt she’ll keep her children long-term.

  30. Sandra says:

I hope that the state of California keeps track of the income she hopes to get from her web site and use that to offset what the benefits that they are giving her.

  31. Diva says:

I don’t know what you’re talking about, Sunny, all the people I’ve heard from who are pro-life praise her for NOT doing the selective thing and going ahead with the pregnancy she was given.

  32. Codzilla says:

anastasia: I’m so sorry to hear about your mother, but happy that you’ve taken control of your life. I’ve known two people with borderline personalities, and dealing with them was nothing short of a nightmare. Nothing was ever their fault. And if you didn’t accept everything they did and said as the ultimate truth, they’d turn on you with their claws out, ready to tear you to pieces. I still think back to those times and cringe!

  33. Gracie says:

I’m pro-life and Catholic, and the Church is firmly AGAINST IVF. So while I wish she hadn’t done it AT ALL, I am glad she did not abort.

If they ever get a trust fund, I would donate.

  34. Codzilla says:

Diva: Yeah, I was thinking the same thing.

  35. the original kate says:

why does she look so fucking happy? she has 8 babies clinging to life in the hospital, no job, 6 kids at home, and she is losing her house…but people are taking her picture, so i guess that makes up for everything.

  36. Diva says:

I’ve got another, um, possibly inflamatory question to ask, lol…

Wouldn’t putting all these kids in the foster system cost a whole HELL of alot more money than paying out benefits as needed to this woman? Foster families get paid, all the medical of foster children are paid, the State pays for just about every part of a foster child’s existence while they’re wards of the State. And this isn’t even going into the too often horrile foster situations kids find themselves in these days which then cost the State even more for relocation and intensive therapy, not to mention the trauma for the kids.

I’m not saying I have the answer… other than I would gladly take a couple of those babies and happily take full responsibility for them for life, no expecatations from anyone. But that won’t happen, so I got nothin’.

  37. Leah says:

Anastasia and Codzilla: My mom is also borderline and everything you guys said is so true. Always blame others for their mistakes, things are always about them in some way and denial is always the answer.

  38. CB Rawks says:

You don’t *guess* a birthdate, psycho! You would have left it blank every time. Bizarre.

Diva, I think the public would be okay with Foster care, because someone sane and capable would be looking after the babies.
And Octo would not get a payday.

  39. CB Rawks says:

anastasia, so sorry to hear about your childhood.
I feel the same (messed up), and that’s why I have been afraid to have kids myself.

  40. Faye says:

Although money is an issue for the State of California, and it’s taxpayers, the childrens well being is really the issue here, not weather foster care is persay cheaper financially, how much 1 on 1 could a single mother actually give her 14 children, and huge emphasis on her mental stability. Never mind foster care, what about adoption to deserving families who would love nothing more than to have a little angel or two of their own…I am uphauled at the actions of this woman..Yeah Starbucks…okay frikin $8 per coffee.. riduculous….ok, where is child protective services? I agree with above posts….kids deserve a stable home with stable parents, and Govn’t should keep track of her income!!!

  41. Diva says:

Oh, reading everything I had led me to believe the outrage was more over the amount of money this whole affair was costing the tax payers of California. I really haven’t seen a whole lot of empathy toward the children themselves.

I hope you’re right, CB Rawks and Faye, and I have just misunderstood what the hub bub was about.

  42. Bina says:

In my country there are plenty of poor women who give birth to 10+ children (not all at the same time obviously) and they have to make do on what is probably the equivalent of $200 a month on average. No publicity or photo deals, no going on tv shows or being in tabloids. I can’t help but look at the Octomom Circus and think what a screwed up world we live in.

  43. Sixxkitty says:

I don’t get the painted toenail thingy… that’s one of the few, must be done maintenance about me, hides how average your feet/nails are with age, lol

  44. brightdandeliongirl says:

If she gave exclusive rights for an interview to US Weekly, she should not be talking to the other media. She could lose her payment if she violate the “exclusive” agreement.

She keeps saying, “I can’t talk to you,” which shows she knows she’ll lose the payment for the exclusive…but she can’t resist talking.

The toenail and Starbucks bug me. As a mom myself, I rarely have the time and money to pamper myself. She has six kids at home (cared by whom?) and eight kids in the hospital.

If that were me, I would be living in a daze trying to be both at home with the six and at the hospital with the eight…never mind trying to figure out when and where to get treats for myself.

I wonder if the wheels are turning to get the kids taken from her before they are even released from the hospital. How can any institution release the vulnerable babies whose housing and care is completely uncertain? I wonder if she’ll ever get those babies.

  45. Monalicious says:

One question I have…….. how is she getting around so well after such a tramatic pregnancy and a C-Section??? I had 3 boys, all C-Sections, and i wasn’t even thinking of driving a car, getting nails done, or lifting anything heavier than my baby for at least 6 weeks!!! She must be doped up on some hard core painkillers! Or is so crazed for attention that she would risk possible complications just to get her pics taken?

  46. SUSAN says:

her mother gave an interview and supposedly got 40k. her father gave an interview as well. what would he get for being on oprah? i think the parents will be buying a new home themselves. i think the parents realise the situation is not as dire as they first thought. sure it was foolish on nadya and the doctor’s part to risk putting so many embryos in. sure her mother is tired of helping. but somehow she has forgiven her.
remember the father was going to iraq to work but he is still here. he probably made more money in that interview with oprah than a whole year’s work in iraq.
her mother didn’t say nadya was a bad mother. she said she was foolish. child services will not take a child away from a foolish parent unless the child in endangered. time will tell how she can cope looking after the kids. i think it is just plane spitefull to refuse to help her regardless of how these kids came into being

  47. Cari says:

    Monalicious: Yes.

  48. FC mom says:

As a Foster Care mom, I hope DDS moves in on this quickly. There are so many deserving people who desparately want to become parents…

  49. FC mom says:

Ooops – sorry – meant DSS – Dept of Social Services – not DDS (dentist)

  50. Di says:

We need to stop paying attention to this woman!!!!!It’s all she wants. It’s the reason she did this.

Look at the absolute glee in her eyes at having her picture taken. She is being followed around just like her idol, Angelina.

    Sick.

  51. brightdandeliongirl says:

Monalicious: Excellent point. She doesn’t look like someone who is recovering from major surgery. The story is weird from every angle.

  52. Ash says:

    Jammy,

I agree with you that I cannot believe camera crews were allowed into the NICU. The NICU unit may have seemed big when we first walked in, but once you figure in all of the babies, machines, nurses, doctors, parents, sinks and rocking chairs, there really isn’t much room to have a camera crew in there at all.

Not to mention, we had to have forms filled out giving consent to who we wanted to visit. If they didn’t have the code and weren’t on the list, no visit. Also, only 2 visitors at one time.

She strikes me as the type who would sit there and yak on her cell phone, even though the NICU prohibits it. She may have been there for 5 hours, but I highly doubt that she was really there for her kids. I am sure she let the nurses handle everything, and probably just started at herself in the isolette reflection.

  53. Ash says:

That should be STARED not STARTED. Oops

  54. cutiepie67 says:

I am appalled at the actions of this woman. She obviously has a problem and the fact that her children are unwitting victims is even worse. Whether the attention is positive or negative, she doesn’t seem to care. I say the state of California needs to know how much income is coming in from all family members as her parents seem to be enabling her issues. Those children seem to have a parent, Nadya’s mother…..just my two cents.

  55. gg says:

Try though she might to be Angelina, she sure doesn’t dress like her. Of course I’m glad about that, and incredulous of the way she talks out of both sides of her mouth, saying she’s destitute, and then blowing money on frivolous things.

And I’m convinced that the one person who sticks up for her on every thread surely must be the Octopussy herself.

    Stupid, stupid cow.

  56. GoGo LaTata says:

Has anyone noticed how unhappy her older kids look? This just keeps getting worse and worse…

Oh, and here’s just what these kids need — Gloria Allred…

    http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/1497322/angels_in_waiting_offers_to_help_octomom.html

    Only in America!

  57. Button Down says:

I don’t fault her mother and father for trying to make their money back and saving their house after that nutsack lied to them.

Though I wonder why her mom didn’t realize the gov. handouts clearly paid for each child. Or hey, how did you completely miss this nutjob getting surgical procedures done with $MYSTERY$ ca$h, when you volunteered for pro-bono nanny duties?

How did it come to this, her and her husband almost losing their home?

They should’ve given her the belt years ago. When you flake out on discipline, good parenting, and psychotherapy (as needed) for your kids, the end result is Octomom.

BTW, this welfare mom is buying $5.00 coffee and shopping at M.A.C. of all places?! WTH! I don’t even have kids and I still can’t afford such extravances!

  58. Z says:

Codzilla, what you said about borderline personality is so scary. It sounds exactly like my sister-in-law. I’m going to have to look into that. Every time anyone in the family doesn’t agree wholeheartedly with her it’s war. Claw’s out – good description. Everything you said sounds like her. Scary…she has 2 kids.

Anastasiabea, I’m so sorry, too. What a nightmare. Sounds like you really got past it. That is so huge!

  59. P S says:

You have got to be kidding me. I can’t believe how many people are sticking up for this useless bitch!

She’s just another reason I think I should be able to choose where my hard earned tax dollars go, because trust me, this scumbag wouldn’t get one cent!!!

I hope they take all her children away from her. She’s a perfect example of poor parenting, and lucky she doesn’t live near me or she would get smacked.

I am a master leverl, licensed, clinical social worker, with many years of experience in child welfare and foster care. i am absolutely mortified by this whole biazrre story – this woman is unstable, at best, and does not have ther right to even have these children! I will not be surprised when custody is taken from her, as she does not appear fit.
I am extremely curious to know how she paid for the oh so obvious cosmetic surgery, how she keeps her nails professionally done, and how much money she has been paid for all the pictures and interviews. Did she really ever plan on being financially independent – or IS THIS HER PLAN?

  62. Amy says:

Borderline personality disorder…holy crap. My mother to a “T”. My sister and I clawed our way out of that pit by our own strength of character.

I pray those kids have some sense, SOMEWHERE in their genes. They are going to need it.

  63. Z says:

Leah and Amy, I’m so sorry you guys had to go through mothers with the personality disorders, too. I can’t even imagine how awful that would be.

I’ve been doing some research after reading the comments here and the Borderline/narcissist personality fits my sister-in-law to a tee. Scared for her kids.

I can’t even be around her in family gathering situations…can’t even imagine having a mother with these problems. Crazy scary!!

  64. Jake says:

Is there any truth to the rumor that she will become a stripper or pornstar to help support her kids? She was quoted as saying that those are a few ways she can raise her kids without being dependent on her parents. Yes, her face is ugly, but there has to be a market for fat women with stretch marks all over their bellies. Good luck to her on not having anymore kids. We can only hope right? I read that a friend had given her 3 batches of sperm. So far she has used 2 of three batches. Let’s see. Batch 1 – 6 kids, Batch 2 – 8 kids, Batch 3 – 10 kids! Is that even possible? Has a woman ever given birth to 10 babies and lived to talk about it? Yikes. Is Nadya fielding a baseball team? 24 babies. She is single, unemployed and is mentally disabled. Oh wait..she just looks that way because she spent most of her injury settlement while injured in a mental hospital. Yikes! Her and her babies hospital bills are expected to reach $2M by the time they are able to go home. We can thank the lovely liberals for this mess. They stuck us with footing the bill for this joke of a woman. I suppose we should be thankful that she only had one sperm donor. Did you guys read that she did not want to let any of the sperm go to waste. Let’s hope she is not planning on starting her own football team. They typically range in size from 45-100 players.

  65. CB Rawks says:

Jake, this woman is not a normal example of humankind.
Most people are decent human beings, not out to rob the system.
It is a great thing to have health care for all. Places like Australia and Canada have excellent health care systems.
But it would be difficult to explain that to a completely self-centered republican such as yourself.

  66. Danielle says:

If these children are not taken away from her I wouldn’t be surprised hearing another “Andrea Yates” case down the road.

  67. furious says:

Starbucks? She is on welfare with 14 kids, no home of her own, no job and she can afford STARBUCKS???????????????

WE NEED TO ALL HAVE CONPASSION FOR THIS WHOLE FAMILY THEY NEED US TO NOT TURN THIS INTO A SIDESHOW…

  69. Molly Malone says:

In response to the comments regarding Octomom being out & about after C Section: I had a C Section and returned to work exactly two weeks later. A C Section is just a big cut and I don’t understand why it would take 6 weeks to recover, all things such as age and general health, etc. being equal.

  70. olive says:

Has clearly received cosmetic surgery to look like Angelina, but with her disheveled, sloppy appearance, posture and mannerisms while holding a Starbucks cup . . . she reminds me of another completely messed up mama (AKA Britney Spears). I wonder if she too will shave her head. Wouldnt be surprised. At least she doesnt seem to chomp on her gum like it was cow cud. Will pray for these kids. She says she had a very disfunctional childhood. HELLO? Do you think any one in your brood of 14 kids will actually have a snowball’s chance to have a functional childhood!!! Oy vey.

  71. big mike says:

picture this people my wife and i are convinced that a very real possibility is that these are future islamists … maybe binladen babies. everything that doesn’t seem logical as far as motive, she has her “rational lies” to try to convince, not just the rest of the world, but herself too that was a sound conscious decision. doesnt IVF cost alot of $$$ who on gods green earth paid for that? state of calif. or bin laden, al queda.? from what she tells us ,if we should believe her, the father (sperm donor) is married. this story is completely wrong on so many levels right the beginning.Someone PLEASE tell me how it is even possible for her to be held accountable for al;l this… god doesn’t give you more than you can handle you do it to yourself

  72. cat says:

I could not aford nails when I was singe.I cannot aford nails now with a job, husband has a good job, married and with 2 children. However, Nadya has MONEY and TIME for MANICURE and PEDICURE! My daughter is in NICU (neonatal intensive care unit) now and fake nails are not allowed there. She should be admitted to mental hospital and ALL children put up for adoption. I will not give her a red cent!

  73. cat says:

I do not want to hear about Nadya Suleman. I just want to sell my breast milk. I do not drink, do not smoke, do not do drugs. I am STD free and have a doctors papers to prove it.My first child doubled his weight in 2 month. There is no doubt in mind that my milk will do the same for your precious newborn. I am very maticulous about sterilizing and collecting breast milk.I will sell for $3 per once or we can negotiate.I have breast milk frozen in 2oz bottles. To prevent fraud I would like payment in advance. Please e-mail to Alexandra at akreynovich@yahoo.com Thanks.

  74. concerned tax payer says:

i think there should be criminal actions taken to people like the “octomom” who knew she couldnt provide for herself and the kids she had without the help of the govt. let alone 8 more mouths to feed. I think this selfish choice she made only shows her ignorance and mental instability and those inocent kids should be given to parents who can love and CARE for them in a healthy enviroment not one that is going to be based on other ignorant people donating money and food to her to only reward her stupidity. it is rediculous that i need a license to catch a fish but this idiot can be put in charge of 14 children!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!i think the doctor should be in jail do they not look at income before they possible help create 1-8 lifes. How was she paying for the fertilization to begin with??? Maybe it was all a scam between the both of them!!!!!!!!!! how can he sleep at night (hopefully in a 6×8 cell) this world does not need more people like her living off the system , i have been working since i was 14 and there most likely be any ssn for me to even collect ,but we can pay for useless a** people like her to have 8 more kids …. give them to people who deserve them , neuter her before her so called destiny is to have more kids right now there are 17 people living at her parents house. could you even imagine having to grow up like that? i couldnt. and for all yo bleeding heart morons out there if you enjoy paying for other peoples stupidity let me punch you in the nose and you can pay me to do it since frankly its the same thing.
