I like it mostly, although the sheer panel is superfluous and doesn’t really add anything. I would have paired it with a slightly more fitted pant, but hey…whatever. This look is VERY Michael Kors – he likes a one shoulder look.

If she wasn’t Tom Cruise’s ex with the whole crazy story behind her we wouldn’t be seeing her covered at all. Seeing as she’s not been doing much of anything since and if revealed blinds are to be believed, she’s not nice on top of being boring and having terrible taste in fashion.
We’re not seeing her covered much to begin with so I don’t know what you’re talking about. We’re only seeing her because she’s promoting a film she’s in like other actors do. Beyond that you don’t hear or see her and Suri very much anymore.

Zero sense of style… and it’s always been that way. I have to believe that the Holmes-Yang thing was a personal dream of hers that was bankrolled by Tom and just not good enough to survive without his backing.
I don’t know. I think when she and Tom were together she had some good style moments. Especially at the beginning of their relationship. I guess it was Tom’s influence.
I don’t hate this look. Well I hate the pants/shoes.. but I think there are a few actresses that could have really worked that top.

I agree. She had some great style moments at the beginning of that relationship, but I guess that wasn’t her preference since she hasn’t looked that pulled together since. She just doesn’t have style, charisma, or presence.
And those pants are really unforgivable – they don’t fit! The top is both too sexy and too dowdy – a remarkable combo in one outfit. It does show her beautiful shoulders, but otherwise, yuck.
It looks like she’s supposed to perform a salsa dance number but her partner didn’t show up so she’s going to perform the male and female dance moves separately then combine it by herself with that outfit.
I actually like this outfit. I think Katie is very attractive and she looks so much happier since her divorce. Best thing she ever did was getting away from the tiny $ciento.
The top could be OK with some pants that fit. Maybe ankle length skinnies in a smooth finish. THAT FIT.
Yeah stop dictating timelines for marriage. Millenials – do not get married until you’ve met the person who is your true partner and you cannot imagine a life without. Even then, feel free to let the relationship progess in its own way, keeping in mind that legal marriage is a very serious financial arrangement that will have to be managed long after the honeymoon stage lapses.

Her hair and makeup look great, but just can’t get behind the drape off her arm, just Noooo. The color of the outfit I like very much, and I love the drapey slacks, but I’m not a fan of the one shoulder look and definitely have to vote a big No for the extra material hanging over the other arm.

I love arrested development but I really hated the 4th season. I understand what was trying to be done but there was nobody to root for…even Michael got on my nerves. The whole ‘we’re a family no matter what’ theme from the precious seasons almost disappeared. I understand things change and would never be the same, but it made me mad. Rant over.
I like it on her. It’s interesting. Not everybody can pull it off.

Let me lend my support to my fellow posters who just never got Katie Holmes. Not happening — trying too hard. She’s just not that pretty, not built for fashion, and one gets the feeling that she’s desperate for our approval. If not for Mr. Cruise, nobody would care. I think the only person who’s still invested in her “celebrity” is her agent.
This is the first time this snoozy bore HASN’T put me to sleep. The shoes don’t turn me on/atr predictable, but this girl needs to stay in pants (have you SEEN her calves. Eeesh!)
