Update 4: Due to the slanderous nature of the original post, it has been removed. Basically someone claimed that the Bachelor and his best friend were partying womanizers who pranked ABC. The Bachelor’s best friend disputes that claim and says that Andy’s search for a mate was genuine and that the e-mails sent to Celebitchy are damaging to his reputation and untrue.

Update 3: There’s now a correction to this story. Mitch Thrower, Andy’s best friend Gatsby, e-mailed me to say that Andy is serious about looking for love and that they know who wrote this e-mail, and that his interaction with the show might motivate him to spread these type of rumors.
