It looks like going out to bars on dates with Britney was kind of counter productive for the fellow troubled pop singer she met in rehab, Howie Day. They didn’t seem to be spending much time together considering how often Britney is photographed on an average day, but he did spend at least one night at her Beverly Hills mansion after they went on a well-documented club hopping excursion.

Now he has checked back into Promises rehab, and a friend tells Life & Style that it’s doubtful that he’ll subject himself to Britney’s drama again:

Howie Day, 26, whom Britney met during her stint at Promises rehab facility from Feb. 20 to March 20, has checked himself back in to the program, Life & Style has learned.

Howie and Britney, 25, became close while in rehab, as Life & Style reported, and they have been out together since leaving Promises.

A friend of Howie’s says he’s upset about going back to rehab, but he’s confident he’ll recover. However, the friend doubts the relationship will continue, pointing out that neither will be a good influence for the other.

Britney has also fallen off the wagon by some eyewitness accounts. She was said to be drinking shots all night while partying in her panties last weekend, and TMZ reports that she’s been out at the clubs constantly.

Britney’s official website has finally been sort-of redesigned from the weird tiger motif. It’s been replaced with a sinlgle splash screen of Britney covering her boobs while wearing a blonde bob wig with bangs. The text of her “official letter” bleeds over in a single line to strategically block her nipple area. She says some crap about how everyone’s prayers have helped her during this difficult time or something. She needs to take a page from Christina Aguilera, who I don’t particularly like, and get her shit together and start being a brand again.
