Boy bander, white trash reality tv star and Paris Hilton “Ex”, Nick Carter now has a new title: Ambassador.

E! reported on Friday that Carter was named a Special Ambassador of the Year of the Dolphin by the United Nations Environment Program Convention on Migratory Species. Whew. That’s one long title.
Carter’s role will involve raising public awareness about the dangers facing all marine mammals. Nick will write a song and video about the dolphin-marine mammal struggle and donate all proceeds to conservation efforts.

“I am honored to offer my resources and my music to help the United Nations save dolphins and their habitats,” Carter said in a statement. “Everyone loves dolphins. Yet, we are still driving them to extinction,” he said.

Ambassador Nick work could start as soon as next month with a new website for Carter’s dolphin-protection campaign nickcarteroceanfund.com.
